The issue is clearly a lack of outgoing damage, there is no need to analyse anything.. 100 rounds is the hard cap in combat, always has been. They do not have sufficient outgoing damage to end combat before 100 rounds, use the ship that is designed specifically for this content or bring more faction ships along.

Real cost was still required by the server and this is why it failed with insufficient resources error, because the client went from asking for too much for not asking for enough: server side costs did not change.

Good night, I want report a bug in my base and in my shields because I put my shield for 12 hrs since 23:00 hours and in three hours and a half my shield down and my base was not have protection since that hour. I have a 8.2 millions of defense in my base and someone players broken that defense only with one miner ship of 300k of power. That is impossible. And the system don’t have to my base the 10 minutes shield and that players steal all my resourses. 60millions of plasti, 40 millions of tritanium and 18 millions of dilitium. I want you check that event and I want compensation because the game had an system error.
In this screenshot I show you that the 10 minutes shield never existing when I receive the first attack.
And this is the first attack that the system show me. It’s impossible that! One base defense with 8.2 millions of power broken with only miner ship with 362 k of power.
You need investigate that and return to me my resourses. I don’t have the guilty for your errors on the system of the game.

@cinder ocean you will need to contact customer support in game for them to investigate this for you. but from experience what usually happens is one of the following:
- player sets the incorrect shield length in error
or 2, the app/server de-synced and the shield application doesn't register on the server before the player closes the app (this is why i always tell anyone who will listen to open a chest or kill a red AFTER setting the shield)
Also your battle logs only hold 30 reports, so you are missing the actual base breaking logs and only have records of the miners which emptied you.

are you serious? First it means that it is processed by the department and then it is normal to have all 3 improvement packages for the ships one day and the next day only the one for the interceptor is displayed.

If you're on iOS, you have an app called Game Center. From there, you can launch your games (and change accounts generally, so if you have multiple - switch there), launch STFC from that app and it should pick your main account.

OK I think cadet McCoy is broken in regards negative modifiers.
As you can see using both crews should give same result.
Think problem is when negative plus a positive it actually reduces not increases.
In theory both results should be sinilar
-20+10%increse v - 15+-15 should be=-30%
What I think I, m seeing is simple math - 20%+10%=-10%
So adding cadet McCoy makes negative modifiers worse not better

In checking with team it’s the non-Vidar 19s and the 29s that are not displaying correctly. Given the huuuuuuge goal involved with COW it’s a major bug if the banner is not only not showing right but the credit not being given; won’t mention the pain of having to check event page wand assess if I made impact among activity of up to 73 others.

@unreal pilot I did read but you did not show HOW you were warp range capable. I'm sure that you know that Pike + Scotty is bugged...
I've taken the trouble of sticking Scotty on my maxed Centurion with Pike (yes it is bugged, but bare with me) to test if a maxed Centurion (warp 60) + maxed scotty (+5 warp) + Pike (adds +3 warp) causes the warp path finding to fail even though without Pike warp range required (61 warp) should succeed (warp 60 + 5 = 65, not 60 + 5 + 3 = 68).
The result is that it correctly sees that my ship has warp 65 which exceeds warp required of 61. I therefore suggest that you do indeed have Pike as captain to get the +3 to exceed warp 61 requirement. Screenshot is following below...

You're looking at a 3D map on a 2D screen, so the "viewable/seeable"distance isn't the same as the "actual" distance....

You need warp 61 to make the leg between Lankal and Pheben 🤷♂️ warp range is path dependent, not system dependent. This was demonstrated by the addition of the shortcuts into augment space allowing you to access systems with reduced warp range.
It's like comparing a non-stop flight around world vs going the long way to stop at various places to refuel; one needs a much higher range to complete.

Whatever the reasoning and prefered analogy though the answer is still the same, the direct path requires a higher warp range to use.

But yes, it's a deliberate game mechanic and we're rationalising it and breaking it down into analogies so that people generally can better understand how it is that they can go one route and not the other, as is often comes to these discussions.

Actually, while obviously not entirely the same, the direct path is unlikely to be the path taken in space travel. As you would try to plot a course to take advantage of the least amount of gravitational pull.
But if you consider it as being in excess of the maximum travel distance between stop then direct paths are simply not always possible. They've set a range, it exceeds your ship capabilities, so you have to go around the long way that doesn't exceed it.

I'm having issues while raiding. I can click the players station once time and get a load, and then either have to hit the phone home button and then back back into the game, or more often have to close and relaunch the game entirely.

Current Game Client Issues:
- Client-Server lag - Client running for a while, looks like it is having a hard time 'registering' certain actions.
- Possible Memory Leak - Seeing the game leaving 'ghost ships' when looking in a sector for at least an hour or more. Requires 'leaving' the system view and go back to clean it up. Also may be causing occasional 'hang' (Only observed one so far, but seeing ghost ships)
The client-server lag example - Moved off a node, client shows ship off node, but trying to get back onto node, says node is occupied by ship (That left node). After 15 to 20 seconds later, could get onto node.

When cashing-in for the Premium and Ultra recruits, they each have a 5% chance at unlocking a random character. I got "lucky" this morning, but instead of unlocking a character, it gave me a few extra shards for a character I already have. Is this expected behavior, am I misunderstanding the term "unlock"?

Twice today I have spent materials on upgrading my ships, first a Kumari and then a Mayflower. Inn neither occasion was there a response from the game with a banner saying that I had scored points in any of the events for which that is supposed to be a scoring action.

Of course, this does mean you will need to drop shield to help get someone to hit your base.
Preferably someone in the same system as you who is not part of your Alliance.

@karmic berry there are several factors that determine what packs you have available to you, these are not made public by Scopely. However we can determine that spending history is one the factors, as you spend more the cheaper packs are removed from your store.
@obtuse topaz bug is with Pike, you'll need to determine warp range without pike's bonus and that will be your actual warp range.

I completed the Crucible of War - Solo Milestone event earning the max 400 Alliance Gold Trophies. When I went to the recruit page to claim my prize. The system glitched and only awarded me 1 out of the 5 chest I had earned. The recruit award resets to a 24hr timer after you select your prize and I selected the 5 chest set but only opened one chest. It returned me to the main recruit page without giving me the four remaining chests. The Gold Trophy Recruit is set to expire in 1 day and 4 hours. I hope there is a way you can help me recover the 4 chest I earned before the event expires. How this situation is resolved will be the benchmark as to how I judge to game from the future own ward. I have heard both positive and negative comments about customer support but as of this message I will judge it on its own merits. Thank you in advance for any assistance you are able to provide me with this matter.

The Crucible alliance milestones do not appear to be logging combat ship points properly. The vidar should have given 1 point for killing a hostile and 19 for using the vidar. It keeps reporting as 1 point added. It's possible that the pop up is just wrong (I know, who would believe that?), but sometimes it says 19.

Maybe one day a bug will be fixed and stay fixed. I reported a flaw where the ship upgrades are not being calculated correctly. Example..rom faction research decreases percentage of ore required to upgrade components. I have sent advisement thru customer support by ticket. First time they fixed it. Second time they s a id it will come out on next update. Still nothing even after applying a patch. Please fix. This would definitely be helpful rather than adding new style to the game.

@upper light it’ll give the 1 and the 19 separate. Also if you don’t know... something important to know on the alliance banner for that event you’re talking about, that for your whole alliance since you last killed a ship. So if you have an active alliance you may see a rather big number there sometimes of those banners for any of the alliance events.

No, the game is fine. The problem is Bluestacks.

The latency of your game depends on everything between your device and the server. Your device, your router and modem, the connection at your house, at the street, the local exchange, every hop over to the end server, hardware on their end. The weather can even mess up your connection.. there are commands and tools to diagnose these problems and where they're likely coming from.

Looks like the ships in armada list is not always accurate. Several times I have been “in” during 10 second countdown but afterwards, was not in. This is a small defect but is annoying and makes it unclear. The length of the text showing a ship’s xp is not long enough and is truncating the last digit (and probably more). My ship’s xp is currently 28946 out of a maximum of 47000 for this level but the screenshot shows only 4700.

@mild timber that's not how it works. You only need to press the button to request helps one time, it will be available for people that haven't sent help already to send help until you hit the limit.
You used to be able to request duplicate helps, though these did not actually decrease the time remaining. They fixed this bug do that you can't request extra helps (that didn't work anyway).
You need your Alliance members to just push the button on their end.

Sending the ship to another system is not possible.

The app becomes more unstable if I click on the "upgrade ops to level xx" announcement (to get rid of it). When I do it and I switch to another app the app crashed 90% of the time. If I don't and just ignore the message, it is much more likely that I can switch back to the game where I left it.

Yeah, that's his concern I think. @warm sorrel I would say that it's not Stella research, it's outlaw research. This includes generic research bonuses, Stella specific research and augment specific research (Mudd's crew and the augment are working together throughout these arcs, so I think this makes sense). The research specifically to reduce costs on the Stella is unfortunately (and no doubt deliberately) one of the primes.

I can only say I wish. Not something I would have readily predicted this morning. Let alone while recalling a ship.
Recalled a ship from exploring space, same time, sent out a miner to a Latinum node. Switched out of the app. Came back to the app a few mins later to make sure the miner hit the node correctly. When I did, my recalling ship was in a battle that apparently it initiated.
Of course this dropped my 12 hour shield.

That was the battle report. He was seconds away from his base.
To be clear, I know he was OPC, but that’s not even a full days worth of data. I don’t like hitting OPC data in general, let alone seconds away from returning to base. I’m making reparations later today, as there is no clear 100% way to say I didn’t do this, but I know I did not and I’m just here to report the bug. It’s crazy to think it happened but I did not attack anyone with that ship. It was supposed to recall, and that’s it. I’m just thankful I popped back online before I got raided with no shield.

Hi can you help with a glitch that meant a 30k northstar took out my station and 30mil of parsteel, 2mil of dilithiam and 17 mil of tri? I am 99% certain I had a shield up too. The first battle log report shows no fight back from the station and that they got resources on the first hit

@edgy mural the bug is actually in the reports. On loading the game the last few reports (1 per dock) will be old and should not be there. These reports replace the ones that should be there, effectively reducing you to 27 reports instead of 30. You've been hit additional times, you just can't see them now and this is confused by the old reports showing incorrectly.

@dense gust warp range is dependent on the system to system path, not the actual system. You'll note that W61 can enter from either direction, but ONLY W61 can enter from the left path.
Which path displays for you will depend on where your ship is and it's warp requirements. The most direct possible path will be displayed, where your range is insufficient for any path it will default to most direct without regard for range.

Cannot get screenshot of this, but buildings were auto-completing for me. I went to upgrade my dilithium generator D from 5 to 6, and later noticed that my build queue was empty. Upgraded same building from 6 to 7... noticed later my queue was empty again. Once more for 7 to 8. Same thing. At no point in time did I select "collect" on those building upgrades.

@autumn glade issue with the reports. The last few (1 per dock) are bugged old reports that shouldn't be the, cutting your list short and hiding those last few (and any earlier ones still get truncated anyway as 30 is the max)

@stable urchin that is what I call lazy programming you have to click the box and then we'll sing at the end and that will show you the true strength and then based on that that will show you who's going to be selected but for some reason scopely doesn't want to show you that unless you click on the box.

Not sure if this qualifies but: opened my Star Trek day chest. Got 6000 latinum among others things. I was in the middle of an 11 day wait for my ops to level to 33. It would be better if they would solve this problem the simple way: Give us a way to prioritize our protected storage space on our ships.
If I were a captain of a spaceship and I was mining, I would put all of that raw stuff into a protected container, and then if somebody dropped a bunch of cargo into my ship, I'd just pile it into a separate section and move on. If he hit me again to get my stuff, he'd just get that same stuff back.

Basic feedback from round 1 of Anomalous Phenomena: event doesn't even show up right as the timer starts unless you just loaded the app
This is a known bug where events do not load when they are updated unless you reload the app or swap to a different app and back, and it's been ignored for months.

Having to hit 30 milestones in these "burst" events in 24 hours is going to be impossible, even with a Discovery.

Oh come on, this is ridiculous! There are more players in the system than hostiles! It's not exciting It's just no fun to fight for every hostile and then not even reach 1st milestone! Game should be fun, not stress and frustration! At least double the event duration!

a bunch of the guys in my alliance sent miners, not realizing that it would be fighting. You basically have to pay $50 to be able to get to the system fast enough to complete these events.
at least until everybody else unlocks the ship the regular way

Discovery on iPhone doesn’t seem to be showing the insta-warp ability

Event starts but you do not get in-game the updates, you are forced to restart the app. Same issue in iphone and android! Had this now 2 times in a row and missed the first 8 min

The chaos anomaly event doesn't get shown directly nor do the flags. I have to restart the game for them to show up, which means I lose out about 2 to 3 minutes of the event... 😦

No rewards with 1000 points ... and can not see other mini events after the first one, reset app have no effet, i lose 2 mini event already, half of my ally have the same problem
And also, waiting for these hypoteticals event mean lose time for other events. So double pain.

Figured out my own issue, non-mandatory update was added to the App Store yesterday for iOS, without this update the Discovery acts like a normal ship and doesn’t have its insta-warp abilities. Next time please make a key feature like this a mandatory update

I do not know about everyone else but I did not see the main event yesterday and did not score anything today i had it and the app locked up when I reset the event was gone. also I do not see where to buy the discovery. people in my alliance said it was in the store not there for me.

The app on iOS isn't using auto-correct, on the last release it did use it properly.... annoying cause it's difficult to type properly at speed on an iPad

That grayed out attack button strikes again
20 points short of the 2nd milestone, and 2 of my ships couldn't attack because the game had the button grayed out on them.
The bug kept jumping from ship to ship, too

Sync issues with the anomalous events not showing till client reboot or there's less than a minute left.
They need to not do time based events unless they precache the events so there is no lag between events happening

Hi, in Server 152, if you are online and later scopely activate the new temporally event, you didn't see it, you have to reset app to see there is a event active....
