My alarm goes off yesterday so I log on to collect RSS and restart another shield. When I get on I have been getting attacked for over an hr and I had a shield up and my shield timer has a couple minutes left. I put a support ticket in to scopely and they tell me it was my 10 min shield which isn't accurate cause I was getting attack for over an hour. I would like some help to straighten this out as I lost 60% of my RSS cause of these attacks and I know I had a shield up. I am attaching screenshots also with scopely reply which makes no sense at all

@velvet pond there's a cool down on the 10 minutes auto peace shield. I thought it was 2 hours, but maybe they changed it. Once that cool down period is hit then the 10 minute shield will activate again.

Hi, maybe not a bug, but wanted to be sure. I invited a friend. I used the button at the game start button, copied the link displayed on the resulting page and sent it. He clicked the link in the email (we were in the same room, so I'm sure he did correctly). Play store opened, he installed the game, made himself an account and joined the game. So far so good. On the browser page where I got the link from I was told my server and that he should join there ... but how to do that? when the game started there was no question about the server. And obviously he's not on the same server as I am 😦
Anything we did wrong? Or is this a bug?

Major bug: Hopefully reported. Your ship is hit and shows no loot lost (UPC). When you look inside, it shows loot lost (OPC). This bug will cause some serious issues in the game with regards to RoE.

@zenith island I know what the issue is, but you can't throw a ship half the strength with combat disadvantage and expect to go well. Pairing it up with an even weaker ship that might have advantage probably wouldn't go well either.. bearing in mind that mission hostiles like that instantly repair hull after combat and can quickly regenerate shields, even if you 99% kill it with the first ship, your second ship needs to be minimum able to destroy all of the hull and probably a good chunk of the shield. 4 ships has the same problem.
and 2x 300k ships is not the same as 1x 600k ship. If you disagree please go throw that ship at a 1m power player ship ship 3 times and see how if you win 😂

@limpid anvil there's a glitch in your combat information for sure, not in question. I'm not sure it's actually effecting the combat though, as I'd expect you to lose anyway personally with the way gold mission hostiles work. But try customer support in game and see what they say, the mods completely misunderstood your issue earlier but can't do anything in game about it anyway. Try CS, see what they say, but I think you're just over reaching on that one.

Sure it’s already been reported I just can’t be bothered to scroll up. What’s happening with major lagging during battles. Ships are constantly stuck in battle and when I’m raiding I recall my survey ship and half way home it goes back to original target. Have to recall twice. Really starting to ruin the game now

and that path between those two adjacent systems requires a higher WR then your ship offers, so it takes another route

All that tells me it's that you've probably missed a mission 🤷♂️ considering that you can access the augment faction store before you've gotten all the BP from the missions and that many others have overlooked the last 1 or 2 BP missions due to there not being an obvious augment or botany bay reward for it. Go through your missions with a fine tooth comb maybe @idle mountain

His ability is not working right. Outside of battle, he boosts the officers health, pushing the bonus from 210% to 245%.
Hull health without him is 138k, which is just slightly different at 135k in the BR. Hull health with him shows as 143k, but in battle there is a huge discrepancy. The health in the BR shows as 110k.
30k hull health suddenly goes missing from outside of battle to during battle
Not only that, but you can see the visual display from out of combat shows 25-30% more health than in the BR

The last few days my Vidar has been sent home early. The ss below shows 1/32” on my iPhone 8 screen, which is usually good for 8-10 borg probes. I save my borg-space tokens for events, and will end up using 10 of then over the course of this event. My scores are lower because of this than before this started happening, so something evil is new. If I lose third place by 1010(5+1)=600 points I’ll feel cheated.

The math takes into account officers as well. Your ship come be stronger at a base level, but the other ship could have a better crew and as such better chance of defeating the armada, so it gets chosen. Ultimately better management of alliances members randomly turning up would be a better fix

@upper stream maybe have better internal rules in your alliance armadas instead of just throwing a bunch of ships in the circle and biggest auto get in. Either set up pre-arranged groups for big hits, or set up a system of the first x to call out an appropriate ship size for the armada get in. Then kick the people who don’t follow it.

📌 when we are raiding the miners get stuck in battle. So I send another miner, some times two. Had three miners at the same time stuck in battle.
Move a ship and recalling doesn’t make the trick like it used to.
This messes with gameplay.

@sour comet its not broken, you're looking at 2 different weapons being fired. the one getting criticals does less base damage so the critical is lower damage as well. look at the weapons on the ship and you'll see it.

I figured I'd test this one a couple of times before reporting it... You can request more help after reaching Max help. I requested twice, and both times was able to get more help.

@inner dagger Efficiency doesn't work the way you describe. It works the same way as build/research/tier speed increases. The actual cost is the base cost scaled by 1 / (1 + x) where x is the total bonus (as a decimal). Don't forget the astronautics studio also increases efficiency. There may be a galaxy-area research that increases efficiency, too, but I'm not able to find a way to access it while my R&D is upgrading.

There is also a bug when instigating a battle. I have started an attack on a red the ship starts heading towards it, then stops suddenly. Happens heaps.
Another is after an attack on a red, my ship gets stuck in attack mode and can't set it on next attack or recall. The only quick fix for this is to set another ship to move and quickly stop it. Then it unlocks the first ship from attack mode.
Another bug is when you have completed a mission, the dialogue box opens. Sometimes there is do many dialogue boxes that you can't close them all, without even reading them, before your ship is attacked by a red fighter, killing you, losing ship and RSS.

On a quick test warping to the next system over just now I have the following stated times, and all arrived at the stated time:

It's beyond me how they manage to fit so many bugs into one officer. 🤣

That's usually a recall issue, when empty it's often or other way around: shows as more time, but it's already there (super annoying when you're raiding and your ship suddenly appears out of nowhere).
What you're talking about is a bug where it fails to update the warp timer correctly, though the actual speed will be right by how the officers are working.

@rain dew 1. this is not a bug, it happens that the red u targetted was engaged by another player 2. this is a real pain, <@&509691205798592532> is there a hope for this to be fixed 3. this is not a bug be carefull what out where is the red fighter. one thing that works quite well is to click some where far just after battled and before the dialogue box opens, but u must be pretty fast and with bug 2 praying for that one not to show up

Also the node you CANNOT mine. It says it's open to mine. You try to mine it and the warning if you have shields up comes up. You click ok move your miner there not mining, and no loss of shield. It's a useless node.

Northstar mining rates are severely out of whack.. In game, my Northstar shows as mining at 4680 per hour, so always thought it was a viable option for mine refreshes and unloads however having worked out, the actual mining rate is around 8600 which is a significant difference. This has caught me out a few times.

I’m going based on the mail in my starbase inbox. How do I verify this is what happened on the server? This is the second time this has happened to me.

The following error has been occuring for me since the Diplomacy update I think (enemy/ally/friendly tag etc.). When I go to view the alliance power leaderboard it incorrectly assigns my alliance name to other alliances on the leaderboard. A quick fix is to back out and go in again and this always fixes it but I thought I'd share it here as it's a small bug.

This bug is only minor, not sure if this sort of thing is what this channel is for, but on my tablet I find the event store sorts the 1st pack to the end of the queue after pack 10. Something to perhaps fix for future event stores, thanks.

This bug has been occuring for me recently (since a recent update I guess). If launching an attack on a mine from outside the system, as soon as my ship enters the local system from warp and is then 'en route' it will appear to teleport straight to the target node and sit there idle when in reality it's only just entered the system and is still travelling towards the mine.

@cloud dune I believe if you check the events points before and after it will go up correctly but the amount displayed on the black pop-up banner is very often bugged and does not display correctly. I've definitely seen that mentioned before on here somewhere.
Try checking the actual event total before and after a kill and let me know if it adds 5 points correctly.

Yeah it's impossible to play. The ships stay at "in battle" forever (are destroyed) and you can't rep them while your ally base is raided.... Or still attacking an enemy ship (in attack animation) while the battle ended 2 minutes ago

@nova panther I'm android s10e and couldnt play yesterday. If there was 1 other ship hitting hostiles in the system i was in I was getting stuck in battle. If it was a system with no1 moving other then myself it was fine

@silver nova found a workaround for my miners in augment space. Bring a warship in first followed by my miners. They only attack my warship. I can leave the space and the miners are good from then on or just sit my ship there and let them keep attacking it after about 20 wins it seems to stop. But atleast now I can mine without having to worry about them, they just need an escort at first.

I think there might be a problem with async api calls. I often see that ally chat can be shown in galaxy chat(if I switch from ally chat to galaxy chat fast), sometimes I see ship or group of ships that is not presented in this system(I seen those ships in other system and now it show me same flying way in other system but I cant select that ship).
As I understand how async api works - those responses is not completely secured and can be returned to not assigned object

Update: About half of my available research cannot be completed instantly. The half that can have either 0 or 1 additional resource costs (e.g. common ore), the half that cannot has 2 or more. That's the only correlation I can think of.

When you press that Instant button, no resources are expended except Latinum. And since you can't buy uncommons and rares, the button is disabled

So why do we have dead nodes, can't mine them at all. It says you can mine but when you try, if you have a shield up, it says attacking an empty node will drop your shields. When you try anyways, nothing happens. See pics.

I play on the server: EU-141, for a long time there are alliances that play dirty, they do the following:
They send a warship whose route passes over a planet or a star base, when it is above, they send it home and they cancel it, which makes the ship stay on top of the planet. When you go to select your ship, you can't, the game selects the planet. You cannot attack, but they can attack.
Many of us have asked them to stop doing it, but they laugh at everyone and refuse to play fair within the rules.

they are not cancelling warp or anything. With mission planets or Mission bases you can select the planet/base and select set course and it will send your ship there. Once there your ship cannot be attacked. It has been that way since day 1

This is the same with the resource nodes, they send 2 ships to the same node, one for war and one for mining, the mining ship arrives before and extracts resources, then the warship arrives and gets on top.
When you go to attack, they walk away with the war one, you try to attack their mining ship, and somehow, they make you not be able to select their mining ship, their ship is there but the game selects the node and not its mining ship

Second time this month I have had all 3 Daily Reputation Event activate after I spent resources. In each incident I had clicked "JOIN" for only Federation. Previous Customer Service ticket did not resolve the first incident, nor do I have faith that second one will be resolved.
Frustration level is high because the "JOIN" button was introduced to help alleviate reputation losses by mistake. Every player knows how challenging it is to grind for reputation - let us not forget the Respected debacle - so to see this continue to be unresolved is maddening.

That should prevent you from losing a lot of reputation from the faction you're well with.

When you're a player such as myself who already is Respected with 2 factions, has been grinding a 3rd, is out of missions that I can complete to raise faction reputation, and is diligent about not completing opposing faction dailies (at loss of potential rewards) then no, it's unacceptable that my reputation be penalized simply because I spend resources through no fault of my own that the game is bugged having activated all three dailies. It's not as if I can "un-join" or decide not to activate rewards.

It’s been doing it to me also. Support first told me I misclicked, however it requires to hit join on two separate screens and for both factions. A second ticket said they are aware of it but have no times frame on fixing it. It’s very frustrating indeed to try to mange rep level when it auto joins you.

What happened to my transwarp tokens? I was using them up to make way for the new ones (to stay topped off in case of Borg event), and the gift disappeared. I have many hours until they’re offered again. They should stay until until I claim them. So the client, what you actually use and displays everything, does all of the math and whatnot for everything. But then it sends it to the server which is what actually does everything, which is programmed with different formulas and rules for some silly reason. So your client says "yep, extra warp, let's go!", And then the server gets the requests and gets a different result so says "no, go away".

Also, the customer support staff largely have little or no knowledge of the gameplay. Actually have ss of that statement from an actual scopely dev. They can and will say the wrong stuff quite often. They will give you different answers on what weapon types a Saladin has from day to day or week to week, for example.

@frigid knoll base raids tend to generate a lot of lag on top of the already substantial amount of lag the game appears to be experiencing. It can sometimes take several minutes for the client to catch up. I can't say this is what happened, but it seems likely. The moderators are volunteer players who want to try and help others and are not paid employees of Scopely. Posting on here will not get you any official response from a company employee. @native oyster as far as I know the only employees of scopley on this discord are panic and gala and they dont work weekends. You can post a bug here and the mods who volunteer will pass them on to the developers but other then that there isnt much they can do. We will never get a proper answer as to when bugs will be fixed or what happening. Remember it's a game. You can choose to pay money or not. It's your choice just relax and enjoy it to the best that you can do bugs and all

The augment store varies based on your Rep with them. Khan shows up at ally. Other two at different Rep levels. Everything else changes as your Rep and ops level increases. Rare plutonium is not available until ops30. Uc plutonium at ops28.
Also costs increase as Rep and ops increase

I cannot mine it at all, says it's empty, asks for attack, I attack and my ship goes to the node and just sits there idle. Happens every time
