@errant glacier Don't know what level you are, but until you reach level 24 the North Star is a beast. You should definitely focus on getting your own. It's made to be powerful and fast, but with a very low cargo/protected cargo

I can confirm that before I installed the google play update, I could message players via scan and via combat logs, after the update I can not do that again, so the bug has re-appeared

Scan a base and it shows no defenses or health.
Attack the same base and get destroyed. Checked battle report to see it has 26k shield 117k hp. Definitely not as cracked as it scanned.

@candid axle for that recall issue, it seems to be a temp glitch which can be solved by clearing localization or restarting. That happened to me in the past where my ship sat outside my base. The mission recall issue is being looked at.

My station got attacked and the 10 min shield did not come up 😭 Even worse, on the first attack, when the screen blinked red I tried to activate the shield but got an error message (cannot say what exactly ... Sometimes the notification is broken or check your "Do not Disturb Setting" on the smartphone. When DnD is activated you receive no notifications too.

That's ok, but was not the case in this situation. I played all day without getting attacked or attacking others. In the evening I raised an 1h shield. That was gone after 1h. I played further at least 45 minutes or even more than 1h.
Then got attacked. My screen went red and I tried to immediately get a shield up. Instead I got an error message.
I switched the view to my station and found it unprotected. Which puzzled me. I saw the next ship crashing into my station before I was able to get the shield up finally. Between the first and second attack just 30 sec passed.

@chrome matrix contact support and they will tell you if your auto shield actived or not. Auto shields work fine,no bugs.Probably what happened is you didnt see it in battle log because they have a limit of 30 logs and most of the times last 3-4 is bugged logs that are stuck in there for days. Anyway support should be able to give you exact dates of when auto shield actived and when it went down or if it worked or not

@chrome matrix yes I can confirm that happen to me too, when I was playing the game. It is weird that the notification is delayed while you play the game. If I am not playing the game the notifications always work.

Everyone needs to understand that CS is just that. They are not the dev. What they can do is limited and the information they can provide is based on that supplied to them by the dev. They do forward your reports and when you get the restart advice etc it because that may be the only possible fix at the moment. When their is an official fix and we are informed of it we will post. But let me stress this....if you are rude or a smart ass to CS then do so at your own peril. These people are working remotely from home with limited rss and getting responses back from dev are seriously delayed. So when anyone starts getting pissy with them I would not blame them pushing your “request” to the bottom of the pile.

I have had so many times that the game inbox itself doesn’t show the hit on the station. And a lot of ppl in my alliance have shared the same feedback.

Same with some of my teammates...not even the red glow around the screen when they are online and attacked! After awhile sarcasm is the only thing you can reply with...because it's either that or you smash your device in frustration at the lack of care by Scopely!
And I realize everyone is in a rough situation right now, and how we all have to be a bit more reasonable and patient, but when you do get a reply and it is like the one I posted above after losing all your resources...it doesn't put your mind at easy any as a consumer of their content, who spends some money on their product...it just infuriates you more at their "meh whatever" attitudes! Point is, on a brand new device with all the bloatware removed, all push notifications for all apps turned on, battery charged, and sitting 2 feet from my fiber op router...that I shouldn't receive the base attack notification! Well then what exactly is the third party issue they are talking about? Don't just leave it like that, let players know what they can do to resolve the issue! It makes no sense to get a response like that and not explain or try and pinpoint what exactly it might be and how it can be resolved regardless of whose end it's on! If you can take the time to point a finger at the possible issue, then you could also explain and suggested fix!

Some stations intermittently show the wrong op level in system view until selected then the shown level changes to the correct one. Actual examples I have seen: Station shown as 40, but when selected it changed to 24. 33 shown was 24. 24 shown was 19. 24 shown was 14. Etc.

@ivory vortex @nova panther. Have an issue with the borg related missions. I collected over 4300 inert nanoprobes and refined 4000 of those to charged nanoprobes for the mission. I have not gotten the 300 charged nanoprobes from the refinery. I waited in case of a lag and even restarted the game. Shows I used them but doesn't show the charged ones.

I normally can’t be arsed reporting any issues as I just assume it’s just my phone but.........does any one else have issues where they don’t receive a base attack notification straight away, I had one 14 minutes after the first attack on my base and then also 26 minutes, as you can imagine it doesn’t take a T9 horizon long to empty a base out 😂.

They were ok briefly ages back, but they quickly became garbage again 🤷♂️ armadas seem to be the only reliable notification 😅 don't rely on notifications to keep your stuff safe or to alert you when it's time to reset mines.

@sour swan that means that the station was already cracked prior to that battle report. If you have 2-4 older reports in your list prior to this that would suggest otherwise, it's a bug in the reports that causes older logs to show up when they shouldn't, effectively reducing the number of logs that you can see.

@sour swan yeah, the last 2 I think (hard for me to tell, can't read it), should not be there. It's a common bug and basically happens everytime you log in to the game. You were hit more times, but you just can't see them and those last two (which should not be there) make it look like there aren't more attacks when there in fact was. No way to see the earlier logs unfortunately.

In-game notifications and battle lids for the station being attacked are delayed. I was attempting to repair my station to defend it, but I was waiting for the battle to actually be loved so that I could hit repair, and the repair option never showed up, so I had to shield. The guy was able to hit me 4 times before then, and I didn't even know he hit until after I shielded and all 4 logs showed up at once.

@sour swan sorry, went to sleep. For me it happens every time I log in, yes. Makes it easy to replicate at least. Simply fill your combat log with new entries, then restart the game and check the end out for ones that don't belong. It's actually a rather old bug too.

Fix the bug in the aug space mission "Beneath the Heel" already! Kehra is 114k, more than enough to kill a 44k, yet it keeps getting blown up by an explorer that's supposedly 44k. How many times does this have to be reported before the devs finally fix it? As it stands now, there's no way to complete this mission, since this explorer is getting a huge boost to it's combat strength ( hull alone becomes almost 6x stronger, nevermind the boost it gets to weapons ). The solution is pretty simple, either adjust the power of the ship to what a 44k explorer should be, or fix it so you get a correct scan of it's combat strength. Doesn't seem too complicated to figure out.

Against all odds mission, recall to station: I fixed this issue by archiving the mission, clearing cache, restart game, place a ship outside base, unarchive mission, the hit recall for that ship within the mission. Follow these steps and hopefully this will work for you like it did for me. Have a great day everyone.

My augment faction store seems to have been reset back to the starting tier even though my faction rep is maxed out. Hello I been playing the game on boths Android devices and iPad and smartphone the CRASHES that much if your going to a hostel red ship before the attack game crashes you reload then some else has killed you sometimes your ship doesn’t go into your base your hovering over then your games crashes I use my iPad the most. If your doing tasks it’s the same click on any task it crashes so much is it the operating system not sure I tried every thing possible I am a qualified computer technician in both Linux windows and Apple OS operating system and computer solutions tried turning off certain parts operating systems regardless what I try on any device it crashes I have used older computer system it fails not all the time get a lot of freezes some people don’t have this issue I even done a full factory restore

I'm a Lvl 36 and have been at that level for several weeks. In the last few days my Daily Goal Excavator / Miner tasks have started asking for 4* materials. There is a Lvl37 in our alliance who is still being asked for 3* materials. Bug or something else? I have not been able to find any information on what caused that switch over.
Got it! I am now over 30m in my Fed Reputation and that pushed me over the line into 4* materials.

The selective server fixes are not helpfull. Either they fix it properly for all or pull that swarm specific event from the rotation. How many people reporting it does it take before its looked at.

Ive got the bug of endless combat, ship spinning around in space for no reason, ship home for repairs with a little dammaged shows up on base platform as completly destroyed(same old bug, that was “fixed” a year ago. There are alot of new bugs, some bugs are still there eventho they should have been fixed and some of the old bugs are back. Are the devs not aware of this? I also wonder why anyone ever wantet avatoars over better inventory search and officers search.

I have reported a bug through the FAQs section in January 2020 and it hasn't been repaired yet. My augment faction store seems to have been reset back to the starting tier even though my faction rep is maxed out. I was unable to participate in the faction event tier up the BB part because of it. My BB is tier 8 so I need the store to be giving me the parts that I need. Short route between Wolf (39) and Babel (38) is only available if you have warp 47 even though both systems can be reached with warp 40

Against all odds mission, recall to station: I fixed this issue by archiving the mission, clearing cache, restart game, place a ship outside base, unarchive mission, the hit recall for that ship within the mission. Follow these steps and hopefully this will work for you like it did for me. Have a great day everyone.

My Bortas seemed to lose hull strength in between battles. At the end of battle 1 I had 43k hull strength, but then when I started battle 2 I only had 22k hull strength and got killed. Pics below
Looking at the battle log, in the losing battle I only suffered around 22k damage
And then when I looked back at the whole sequence of killing hostiles, I was losing around 15-20k of hull health between each battle
The crew was Kirk Bones Spock, so no influence on the hull health there

What's the expectation with a second D'Vor supposed to be? Originally when I had a D'Vor that was tiering up by refining LAT I also received parts to update the D'Vor. I've waited over 24 hours since building my 2nd D'Vor and still don't see an option in the LAT refinery that includes D'Vor upgrade parts. How am I supposed to upgrade this second ship?

Not sure if this was reported already but research that reduces the cost of components doesn't impact the amount of resources needed to upgraded components. Yes it takes less out of your inventory but you have to have more to actually trigger an upgrade. For example upgraded might cost 11.5m trit once i upgraded it gave me a "refund" of 1m+ but I would rather have the cost show exactly what it's going to be so I don't have to waste more tokens / lat to get to the amount of resources shown as needed.

I had that crew on as I had been doing some armadas and just hunted a few daily hostiles on my way back to station. I usually roll with the Cadet Uhura crew for swarms/Borg, and then Nero/Chen/Vemet for hunting explorers

And yes, bonuses no longer apply after combat and so anything active is removed and any additional health is then lost.

So in the combat phase, Kirk gets morale and then the crew’s bonus health adds to the hull health. But then they lose that bonus at the end of a victorious combat, and the hull health drops by 20k before the next battle?
And then if/when morale reactivates in the next battle, it’s adding to a lower base because you’ve lost some hull health in the earlier battle?
Might have a play with this one tomorrow to actually add up how much hull damage I take it each battle, and compare that to starting values

I assume it'll add the same amount each time as it's a flat stat increase, but basically yeah. If he triggers you'll get additional health, and then it's lost at the end of combat (if not worn off before then). At the end of it you can actually win combat and then have your ship blow up because the bonus health lost is more than you have.

Also have more and more often issues, with the game on startup and it keeps crashing very often. Screen does also freeze (which never happened before), cannot focus sometimes mines or some systems. Moving miner for reset, but cannot return without restarting it. Targeting any ship also frequently stops working as the buttons show an loading symbol, see ships in systems, which are not actually there - kind "copy & paste" from systems i have been before. Game became incredible slow, sometimes i see it like in slow motion or it feels like the the UI is not loading in general as you usually see if the CPU is 100% in any computers... ob boy
not to forget that notifications dont arrive or with quite some delays. I see also people attacking by base, but i am unable to repair as the base shows not up damaged - however, base already cracked and i see the miners coming it. Also bubble the base comes with error messages if that happens, and since we talk about error messages ... often i send ships to any system or try to stop them, but i get error messages. Ship shows also up often as arrived, but is actually still on warp. The officers providing faster warp speed are speeding up the travel time if you just believe the "eta"- clock, but actual arrival time is far later as the effect of the officer did not take place.

However, simple math plus time shows that the actual mining rate is unchanged, making Ten of Ten a completely broken officer, at best, or at worst, false advertising & fraud at $400 a pop.
In 5 minutes of latinum mining, if Ten of Ten were working, I should have mined 1,144 raw latinum (228.8 per minute * 5 minutes = 1,144). Instead, it only mined 635 (which is the old rate of 7,626 per hour, or 127.1 per minute). A prompt response from Scopely and commitment to fix the issue immediately, would be greatly appreciated. Scopely can’t screw things up this badly on a $400 purchase — at the beginning of a (likely) worldwide economic depression — and NOT expect people to be furious!

Ah yes, on top of propagating very poor customer service while not even an employee, let's top it off with 'read our huge set of rules' if someone finally finds where scopely support can be found at all. I apppreciate the time you spend as a volunteer, but you have a lot to learn about business and customer support and frankly I hope this is a trigger for Scopely to educate you on those subjects.

In game there also is a link to here. That means you cannot 'just' see yourselves as volunteers. Voluntary is not without obligation, certainly when the developer promotes you.
Saying things that seem unbelievavle from a customer experience perspective will reflect off of scopely as they are perceived by the unwitting (me) as endorsed by scopely.
Releasing a product to match an event right as it starts that does not work cannot reasonably see a 5 day response time. You guys fill a great gap foe scopely there - and much appreciated - but please be aware of perception at all times. If scopely had stated officially that the event was 'fine' I would have taken further action.
You think that is bogus, that is your right. Check with John if there is any sense in what I say, he has more info.

We moderate the discord. This is not support. We do forward reports of bugs as we get them, but we are not customer support. We do not work for Scopely, have never been to Scopely, receive no paycheck from Scopely, etc. This discord is a platform to discuss the game and should never be substituted for customer support. In fact, we typically tell people to file tickets before we forward a report, because CS can sometimes find workarounds or have a solution. When a bug or glitch is prevelant and affecting game play and warrants immediate forwarding we will do so. However that is where our involvement ends. We do not provide solutions or updates, as that is usually done by Panic.

There is a rush event, something doesn't work, support is unresponsive - you get it.
You really are saving scopely a ton of money as they are technically obligated to do better around paid products. Then they don't, you fill the hole and on top catch the heat from the unwitting (me previously).
So let me repeat as it cannot be repeated enough: you guys are providing a great service. But people will mistake you for Scopely support. Now and forever 😄

I've been trying to login to server 193 for almost 2 hours, stuck at 76% as usual. I wasn't able to complete the mega miner event. My shield ran out 20 mins ago. I hope scopely put a ceasefire on all stations.

my game keeps crashing randomly. I can be playing between 1-5 mins and it crashes or ill be on for 30 mins and it will crash. Now the game is starting to lose sync with the server.

Server 26 is experiencing serious issues across the board but a discrepancy between the in-game timer and when a mine zeroes out is the biggest issue right now. Couple that with a big lag in receiving warning messages and you have a serious problem. Numerous people on the server have contacted customer support but things get addressed faster when posted here so that is why I am making this post.

When I just refined(fed) 10 tribbles, I got 90 in return. So far so good.
However, the "popups" that reported the change to the personal and the alliance challenge, reported a "+40" twice.
Shouldn't it have been +80 twice?

Same, still not working. Got off and on mine, nothing. Not a word on people spending money and then not being able to perform in the attached event. Horrible customer service and clueless about how this handling causes people to not want to buy anything first anymore... Sad...
Took it back to base, cleared officers, put them back, now seems to be working.

I am not pointing this out at any one individual but I have to say that insulting Scopely and its employees, much less its volunteers, may make you feel better but I have to say that I don’t enjoy reading these sorts of comments.
I come here to see if anyone is having the same difficulties as i may be having on our server and when I have to go through a ton of messages about how Scopely CS is shit or how volunteers are somehow going to be a party to a lawsuit or making official statements is beyond the pall.
Here’s a little suggestion. Play the freaking game. If it doesn’t work the way you expect, TURN THE GAME OFF.
You play a game for enjoyment, you don’t play it to be agitated or aggravated.
