@worldly sluice see my chat above - it's Kirk's ability. When he triggers morale he incrases the hull of the ship. In cases like yours it allows you a victory, but after battle that hull bonus is gone, which breaks your ship.

@pearl anvil your dilithium is too close to the numbr required. everything in this game operates off base valuesand you have techs and upgraded drydocks that decrease the amount of resources needed to repair. what happens here is that the game is looking for the base value which is actually higher than what you are seeing being required, so you need that value before it will accept the repair. however it will only actually take from you the amount being displayed to you. it's a bit wonky.

I keep having an issue when attacking opc. On my screen I will see my ship sitting on top of the target. And at ZZZ. This is after I already hit attack. I then have to hit attack again, and while looking at my ship sitting on too of target, the counter then starts counting down again as if I've just entered the system. Yesterday, I had an issue where I used Vemet and BB. Went to data node and started collecting. Was then attacked by hostile. Stopped collecting data, but what I had collected before was gone out of my ship hull. Also the node still showed my ship was occupying the node when I wasn't on it. Even after rebooting the game, still showed I was there. After my ship returned to base I didn't recieve the missing data cargo. This occurred on the very last augment node.

Received instructions to go to another system and as I was heading there(verified by looking at the galaxy view) when I went into the system I was warping to my ship was back in the system that I got the mission.

Also look at contacting the ACCC or other similar bodies, as I have done, to report their actions (or inaction) to deal with loss of resources post finances spent given a game issue (lack of notifications, packs not given what they showed, October "double value" pack that stopped giving double value etc)
If its a development issue or their side with no clear attempt to fix issue post finances spent, the ACCC is very interested for all Australian consumers

Reported this to support, but I’ll say it here too. Server 16: no notification of a base hit. I was hit while online, and my ships in dock just went from ok, to destroyed. Also, no notification of an auto-shield, miner hitting 0, or shield expiring. Be watchful guys and gals.

@ivory vortex yesterday you gave us an hours notice that maintenance was occurring and would be approx 1.5 hrs. The server came up and we were all allowed back into the game. Only to have a message a few minutes later to say there were issues and emergency maintenance would occur in a few minutes. I tried to get a 1 day peace shield but got a message saying operation failed. I tried to put a 12 hr peace shield up and also got the operation failed message. I then got booted from the game and maintenance started. I sent you a direct message letting you know of issues I was having. I had 5 hrs left on my existing shield but the server was off for over 8 hours. When I was able to get back in my base had been raided over 30+ times and I lost millions in resources. I logged a ticket with support and their response was not at all helpful. As part of the maintenance it was mentioned that it was due to bugs that destroys the miners ship when miners were returning to base in a hostile environment. This is still occurring for me. What can we do to get this problem rectified and my resources returned as scopely has admitted fault and this was caused by an infrastructure change within the game

There are many issues in the game after yesterdays problems. Try clearing your localisation cache and reinstall as a last resort

Meh, the only one employed by scopely who moderates this channel is Panic. Try tagging him. But past experience tells me that scopely don't usually compensate for lost rss.

@ivory vortex Wanted to report an issue with the app. I’m on an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.2 and the latest game version installed. The app crashes every 3-5 minutes. Nothing specific triggers it. @boreal saddle look at the name of the ship. One says “transport” the other says “trader” they aren’t the same. My guess is the transport is a more greater lvl possibly due to its significance. Just like in the other faction spaces, you have for instance there is a red called “Romulan Fighter” which is much stronger than normal Romulan hostiles of the same ship type.

@sour quarry it's epic kirk - when you have morale he boosts the officer stats and that boosts ship hull during combat
the bonus is removed after combat, but the total damage taken is correct
so combat results show the health before the bonus is removed - sometimes it means you win a fight at low hull health, but the ship is destroyed after because of this gap

1. Repair time will state specific time, but once repair is requested time is greater than previous time.
- example: 1h03m for repair, turns into 1h05m

the counters are not stable. restart app and counters will show accurately. the actual help count is stored at the server, the client usually but not always gets updates to those help counters and usually but not always displays them properly. a restart reloads the data from the server.
@keen plank yes. I have found that if I warp into a system w/out escort I generally get killed by turtle .. sad reality is scopely bugs are not the majority of the reason. Ship killed by turtle or poop smeared around the playroom by my 2yo .. which is more pressing to tend to? 😉

Yesterday I invest about 60 Mio Dilitium in the last two swarm research level 9-10. After testing this morning - there was no benefit from research. With max. Does anyone else have an issue going to view your station on an android device? Sometimes when I go from Exterior to Interior it gets stuck at the load screen saying 'Preparing' and I need to restart the game to get it to work.

@nova panther the person in that battles name is Killian he pmed me and said sry for the hit and I was asleep 2.5 hrs into my 12hr shield n he showed his battlereport n it’s his attack. The point is it’s saying I attacked which is why it exploit pops ur shield even though u were on Defense. I showed his screenshots too showing what I said . It’s a closed case of the game is bugged and says differently

Listen I reported vemet breaking nodes in February and they fixed it 5 months later, I reported stuck ships in Jan bc of vemet capt n they still haven’t all the way fixed it. I reported refinery exploit, I reported azbek Klingon week exploit .

@nova panther very well known issue amongst players. Numerous scopely related people even tried to help nail it down, many discord’s for various servers set up shield glitch channels to try and catch it and figure out what did it. Then, they all stopped.
We even have someone who watched it happen to someone else, real-time, and reported it in server 27.

I think testing/investigation stopped because it's hard to reproduce. I watched a guy do it to me a couple times but was told that reproducting his same ship/officers etc didn't reproduce the effect.

What is the deal with targeting!?!? I sent my Bortas afer a Centurion player target, and as soon as he changed course my ship went zipping across the system away from teh target, even when the target was RIGHT NEXT TO MY BORT. HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE.

ve run into the same sort of thing with hostiles, but never that bad. Like, sometimes the ship zooms across the system, then does this repeated approach as the timer counts down, repeatedly reaching the target point then popping back and starting over.

Very frustrated. I have been playing for at least a month where I am not able gain Ship XP except through gifts or missions. I am using brand new ships which all need XP to level up.i attack PvE and see the XP indicator, down by the ship icon control, but it never accumulates.

Find a base that you know is inactive and hit it repeatedly with teh ship you want to level up. Stations give a lot more xp than hostiles. Another way that I have tried in the past is sending the ship into a hostile faction's territory, where you know you can beat a whole lot of the fighters that come after you, and just leave your ship there and let them come. After a while usually they stop, in which case you can warp to another low level system and repeat.

Loyalty 2 packs do not give officer badges despite promising otherwise.
Those badges are the only reason to get those packs.
30 packs so far from me alone and not a single badge. At 50 faction credits a try, that is unacceptable.

could be a bug, the server only knows the reason why you travel towards an object, there you state the reason of travel, to either mine, or to attack or whatever else
that intention is remembered
so if he travelled towards the mine, the server doesn't care who is on the mine actually, and will continue it''s intention: attack, even if the occupant changed

Hi all. Just get it clear... the situation meaculpa was explaining is occuring since one or two weeks. As far i remember the attack was canceled if there was movement on the mine (refresh or user change). Die question is more or less, if this behaving is as per design intent and attacking strategies may be adopted by the commanders.
Speaking for me... i liked to attack 0 node occupants and write the 2 minute warning while traveling to the target. If anything was changing meanwhile my ship was stacking instead of attacking.

I attacked a base with a ship and Vemet was the Captain, my ship was defeated but because of Vemet it won’t die and my opponent can’t attack me either, so my ship is simply stuck inside the enemy base. I’ve tried restarting with no effect. Is there a solution to this problem.

Theres a bug in the warp range calculation with jellyfish + scotty + helvica says warp27 but get invalid warp path for any 27 systems. Also gets stuck and unable to recall in an upper fed system. Suspect they were 25 or 26 systems. Just make recall work no matter what and problem solved

I think there is a bug in the daily federation reputation event. On my server the romulan and Klingon reputation events are joinable on a daily basis. The federation event spawns just once every two days.
I play both Romulan and Federation whereby the Romulan event happens daily and the Federation event happens once every two days. But also people on my server that play just Federation have their event only once every two days

Ok, I've been killing Federation Interceptors of 31-32lvl at Inari for a whole week now. I got ZERO interceptor parts, but I got tons of Explorer parts. That seems wrong. On top of that - I got ZERO Saladin bps, even though I've opened over 300 chests. This seems suspicious as well. Any comments?

Never use Vemet on base raids. It gets stuck. The only thing you can do is to contact support to unstuck it, provide them with dock that your ship is occupying, and list the crew that is on the bridge

@native oyster short story, shield failed a couple of times after update. Noticed three times, 2x 4h, 1x 8h. One 4h shield lasted less then 46min. I still dont understand why. Didnt notice failing today however. I find it odd that only on first occasion support acnowladged there was an error and generously returned what was lost
