If there's nothing new in the log for a while, it tends to drop a lot of data. you end up with something looking like that. if your log was current it should look continuous, like this:

So yesterday it was asked what can you expect from a level 35 refinery with the Prime 3 Star research. Basically after 2 days of refining you will see it is constant. Refine 2 pulls and you get 4 uncommon. Refine 4 pulls and get 8. Basically DO NOT waste time or money on Prime 3star. It’s a complete waste of money. My refinery has done this since I started refining 3 star. Either it’s a bug or it’s another example of being Buggered by scopely.
Basically they have NERF’d the refinery so you have to buy to succeed.

However given the last bug and how it worked in our favour and we all got called thieves for using the game as intended and this one helps scopely sell packs I feel we will get a giant 🖕 on getting a refinery that does not take 215+ days for one gun upgrade on a sally. #scopelysdoesnotcare

Saladin is beyond overpowered. A 535k strength Saladin with Klaa and two mining officers on the bridge beat my 617k Centurion with Nero/Vemet/Kumak on bridge. Not only was I 82k stronger but I also had the battle triangle advantage (explorer vs interceptor). There is no way he should win, and he did it twice. Why would anyone not take Federation as their faction so they can get this joke of a ship? Its big gun should NOT be firing round 1 and then every 3 rounds, and it shouldn’t be hitting for 5+ times the damage of its normal weapons. Something is seriously broken with that ship! This and many other "chance" boxes....should to show % odds if you can purchase the relevent in game currency/token from the store.
Like they do with officer shards.
e.g. If the chance is 1 in a Trillion to get a badge.....then really it is deceptive practice to allow faction credits to be purchased from the store then be used in a box like this if the odds are not shown.

When are you guys going to fix players being able to raid through shields?????? When!!!!! It isn't fair. You guys screw up with refinery where players could refine over and over. Within a couple of days, you send out a message, take away the "exploit gains" from those who used it, and give loyalty chests to those that didn't.
Yet months later, you cannot fix a known exploit with cheaters who break through shields. Further, you refuse to right this wrong by returning the ill gotten gains to the rightful, shielded owner because it creates an "imbalance."
The imbalance is caused by YOU. Return RSS that was taken because your programming creates illegal exploits!

The issue is that it is pretty random
Always relog after u shield, most of the shield issues are caused by failure of sending/receiving data by server, which u can easily get around by logging back into the game

Nevertheless, it’s a known exploit and scopely can reimburse the player for rss taken through shields while the fix the problem. This would solve 95% of player frustration. Instead, they do not reimburse.

Even there they say a raid through a shield does not happen all of the time but they provide a method. Unless that’s been deleted.

I've not had a single issue on ios that all the android users haven't also had, in fact based on all the posts I see, I seem to have far fewer issues. The only real issue with ios is android users prejudice against it. It's the same as the old mac vs pc argument. people like what they like and love to point out flaws in the opposition no matter how rare they may be. @native oyster at least it is easy to get around. We don't have to wait for support to unstuck us. Also if you need to get rid of those stuck notifications on top of your screen, go into alliance chat through your alliance panel, and rotate device. It will reset notifications

and in regards to the notification bug, it appears that the instruction to make it vanish is not given, so between where it should popup, and where it should go, there is the bug, something fails there making the renderer stop and flush it's current broken output
since the element is no longer associated with what it should know to exist on the screen, it no longer cares about the object

have one player with an ipad it didn't work on, but on devices it works on, it works 100% of the time to unstick that notification, then you get the spew of notifications you've missed after, but .. at least you don't have to exit the app and come back to the spew of notifications

OK so tried a few, none of it worked EXCEPT the "Rotation Control" app which when used in combination with BlueStacks's rotation, does seem to work:
So you have to:
• Download the 'Rotation Control' app,
• Open the RC app,
• Start the RC service,
• Return to the game,
• Go to chat,
• Slide down the 'status bar',
• Rotate the device using 'Rotation Control'
• Rotate it back.
Now the stuck notification bar should be gone.
Once installed and running, any following times you only have to:
• Go to chat,
• Slide down the 'status bar',
• Rotate the device using 'Rotation Control'
• Rotate it back.
As long as you keep it running though.
Unsure if too many steps and worth relying on 3rd party app but will start a vote about it.

its an aws outage my clients use aws for their systems and when i log in via my irish ip it fails but if i use my usa vpn it works
so if you have a usa vpn connection you can log into the game that way

to change DNS in droid devices for mobile data, there is an app for that (if you search "dnspipe - a Dns changer"). I personally suggest using 1.1.1.1; 1.0.0.1 DNS (cloudflare).
it fixed issue for me.
(For more tech-savy guys, it works by creating VPN to localhost which allows overriding your mobile network provider's or your router's DNS settings)
sidenote: doing so you can use your prefered DNS servers, use wisely and you may see slight boost or degradation of overall internet performance (not speeds, though, just "initial" phase of connecting - ns lookups)

if using google works and your isp doesn't it means your isp is obeying internet specs and caching bad data until it times out to serve the good data that google has clearly loaded in advance of the old bad data's expiration. I am seriously stumped: I had a Klingon REP just short of Favored (within 35K). 24 hours later I have a Klingon REP of UNTRUSTWORTHY and at the low end of same. How does one lose that many faction points in 24 hours? I have done a few missions, but mostly swarm level missions, and a couple of FED missions. I am level 26 so missions completed are seriously not going to drop 3m in faction rep. I do not hunt nor kill hostiles in Klingon space so no loss of Faction Rep there. I completed 2 FED missions, none of which should deduct 3m faction points singlehandedly or combined. The only conclusion I come up with is that one of the FED missions is/was bugged and seriously heavy faction rep was deducted then what was supposed to be deducted. I did send a "help" message to Scopley just to see what sort of canned response they intend on sending me.

According to the app a 100% officer attack bonus on a Realta is 4573, it should be about 10.
The same officers show an attack bonus also of 4573 on a maxed Saladin, it should be about 50k.
The bug is that the number displayed is the officer attack points, not the damage bonus.
CS claim there is no bug. Either they are mindbogglingly stupid or just lying.

That is not what is shown in damage per round in ship stats - it increases by 100% of base attack. Both can't be right (actual increase includes an adjustment for critical hits which, confusingly, is also wrong)
If what you say is true then first, the description in the app is wrong; and second health bonus (which has same description) is wrong be cause health bonus is % of base plus level up plus the flat researches - same description but different action.
I've also had four, off topic, replies from CS telling me the bonus is applied to base - stock answer when they spot "bonus" in a ticket and they don't bother to read it.

just change the endpoint for the regions, and pick one of the servers, the failure in dns is with s3.amazonaws.com being ratelimited, but as you also received per mail from aws, just point to one or more of the region servers you use to store your files

We're #14 alliance on our server, 65 members strong, do well in most events (usually land top 10, dominance was #4 at server reset) .. I say this to say we're an active group that goes after stuff. But nobody has 200 rare armada credits to start even one rare armada target. This is frustrating.

If you go hitting e.g. lvl17 elites with a small cargo bay and all you want to do is win the freaking competition with loads of pve chests to sort through, for each hit you get: 2-3 event notifications followed by a cargo bay full notification followed by a hostile notification. you can literally hit them faster than notifications appear without trying hard, and have to endure the same amount of notifications you no longer care about and could care less about (cargo bay full) to scroll by before its finally caught up

yeah, since the update in the store, finding armadas (even uncommons) has become sparse. Also to mention a new bug on armadas: if another alliance starts an armada roughly a minute or two before ours, you don't see their banner marker until after you create one.

I just noticed that Yan’agh +Dmg against Rom wasn’t working while hunting Rom Miners and then noticed it was working against their patrols. The miners are just labeled as ‘Horizon’ whereas the warships are labeled ‘Romulan Ship’. Thoughts??

Due to rampant griefing on our server we've been testing strategy, trying to arrive in the circle at the last possible seconds, the game mechanic however won't allow it. even if you can make it with plenty of time to spare the game says the battle will be over before you get there and it will not allow you to join. we tested at 11 seconds, 20 seconds 30/40/50 and 1minute+. only arrivals more than 1 minute before the end time are allowed to join. Please fix this! it is ruining what should be a valid strategic option here.
