North Stars capability of “Healthy Mining” is not currently being used when selecting a node for mining. It is just a strong mining ship at the moment. Officers health points do not affect the mining rates. Here is the math that others can check themselves:

From what I can tell, the numbers compute the rate when selecting a node (some systems mine faster), then it runs with it. The timers are a bit off agreed, but I think the core math is also wrong. I’ll help however I can. I have 3 NS ships to test with

Selecting a node gives you nothing you have to start mining, and also time to deplete the node is broken

Kumak as captain is bugged. Each round of combat it will add stats for officers, increasing the hp of ship among other things. After the combat finishes, the bonus will stop and your ship might explode even when you win the fight with plenty hp left.
During fight these bonus hp points from Kumak should be used first and actual ship hp as last resort, so after combat there are no bonus hp left to be deducted.

Also see if your device has an OS upgrade that you need to do.
Aside from that it could be a problem with the server on scopely's end

Not only misinform, but not require the right amount of resources... had to use tokens to get up to the amount requested, but was left with resources for the amount of tokens used...
guess the research upgrades for materials are not taken into account when upgrading, have to have the ‘original amount required’ but only have to use ‘research amount required’...
Please add that to the fix list...

The displayed costs in regards to Ship Upgrades has been reverted to as it was a patch ago because of excessive amounts of players reporting that they're getting errors about insufficient resources. It's preferable to display an over-estimation rather than under-estimation until it can be corrected to show the actual precise amounts required.
The actual costs are done on the server and have not been changed.

It's not quite as simple because of integrated systems taking into account various implementations of research buffs when it comes to resource costs. Hopefully the newly announced update includes a patch for this but we'll have to wait and see.

In the last day my daily goals requirements increased. Even though I didn’t upgrade anything significant. I am level 29 and now I have 25 level 35 faction ships to kill and even more mining. I have had an issue whereby I accumulated the required amount of 3 star gas to achieve prime Shields. Once I got to 99, (100 was required) and then refined more gas, it reset me back to 19 units of gas, and has been dropping since. I am very disappointed this has happened as I was looking forward to prime shields. How can I get this fixed???

“You have been attacked” notifications don’t wake up my phone screen (iPhone) or vibrate, but all other notifications do, like ship repairs. My station keeps getting raided while my phone is beside me. Only on the off chance I go to check the time do they all show up at once. This is making playing the game extremely difficult.
I’m guessing you are using local notifications for one set and remote notifications for the other and have different settings for each. Please fix this ASAP, it should only be 1 like of code to make those changes

It's possible a ship that was still tiering up could have accidently allowed you to exchange it for a different ship.
This doesn't cancel the tier-up progress but might prevent you from actions on other ships.
Please verify that all your ships are OK by cycling through each and every one of them that you have in your shipyard.
You'll most likely find one that's ready to complete tier-up progress and once you have, you should be able to tier up your other ship again.

When in swarm I attack then after battle is over it will show my ship finidhed battle at 0 secs in red, and will remsin like that from 2 to 5min without being able to reattack. Really slows the game down and really annoying. Also find when searching for s swarm to attack there are some I click on and they won't recognise as a target just a sector in space to move my ship too
Yes, even did a complete reset of my phone to factory settings and that did nothing. It only happens in this game app. All otherd I have to play, chat works fine and games are fluent eith no freezing. I like this game but having an ingame chat that is so nssic that doesn't work makes it hard to chat with plsyers especially in battle situations. Really really annoying

Yes, but Google doesn't backup everything, with ADB, you can, because through ADB you get ROOT privileges, and that's what you need for a true full backup of your data.
After the upgrade, you then have to restore your data using the same method.

After the patch, while at home, it loaded just fine.
Come to work, loads to 91% or 93% (can't remember which), then stalls.
deleted all app cache and data, launched, it basically reinstalled, got into the game but had no HUD.
Closed the game, force close from settings, try to load again and it gets to 76% and stalls.

I have researched the extra protected cargo level to level 1. On a fully upgraded Envoy the limit used to be 10,000, it is now 12,000 as expected, however, on my other envoy that has Joaquin as the captain the level is still 15% as it was before the research. Also, my Horizon with T'pring, it was at 20,000 protected with her on it. It is still 20,000. I have restarted the game and that has not fixed the problem. Apparently their officer abilities are not working with the new research.

I have been unable to stay connected for the last week. Slow logins, often not even opening and requiring force restart. Tried everything. Scopely doesn't care. Says they are working on it, but no real confirmation the issue is on their end or what it is. It's to the point I think I'm going to quit. It's unplayable and no longer fun to fight disconnects. I constantly lose ships due to trained fighters and inability to refresh nodes in time.

I did a research 30 minutes before the reset...sped it up to finish within 5 minutes and it DIDNT count for that night....caused me to NOT finish.
After I brought it to their attention - they tried to tell me it finished at 4:31 am on the 19th and therefor was WELL after the reset
Keep in mind that if that WAS the case, then I should have a completion mark on the research part of the dailies.... and yet, I didnt... that was several hours after the time they claimed I finished.

@rough garnet if you go into Apps under Settings, you can delete data and cache and when you start the game again, it'll download everything and let you in the game, but you won't have a HUD.

Harrison - needs to be removed from pvp consideration, or only trigger on battleships. way more game breaking than Carol and she got fixed in 1 day (this is the only non-bug bug report)
Hull breach/burning-dependent abilities completely out of sync in general (see Krell/Mara next)
Kang/Mara/Krell - Kang's ability is 3 rounds of hull breach, but Mara's on-hull-breach ability only activates in round 2, and not at all when Krell's 1-round hull breach ability triggers
Leslie - captain ability doesn't trigger (hull regen)
Barot - defensive ability doesn't activate
Vemet - the 'get stuck on bases' bug that everyone knows about, when he's captain
Someone also mentioned Hadley not working, but I haven't confirmed myself
Also a ton of officers with abilities that are worthless because they only apply to base amounts - such as Carol's damage reduction translating to more like a 10% reduction, which is terrible for an epic officer, and most of the Burning abilities are applied to the base as well

Having issue with Cadet Scott, aboard the jelly. My base warp is 21, with him as an officer it listed as 25 as captain it listed as 27. As long as I warp 25 or less I have no problem. But if I attempt to go any farther than that the ship get lock on that course and will appear to go there but it does not move and will act as if in warp until the allotted time as elapsed. If in a system other than the home system it becomes stuck claim any warp course in invalid until I reboot the game.

Since the up grade today I seem to be experiencing a couple issue not had before. 1) When warping to a location I seem to arrive before I actually get there from my perspective but seem by others. 2) I warp out of system and I see myself travelling to location I have selected, but apparently I am still in that said system and get hit by system hostile. Oh wow, yours is definitive. I’m on an iPad. I didn’t realize overall strength was affected too. I thought it was just base stats. I’ve got three maxed officers and none of those changed after prime research either. Gaila did double as the captain, even more than double, but as soon as I took her off the ship, she went right back
Wait, now it stuck. She is way stronger. So, I should unload everyone, then put them back on?

It should resolve itself, some officers being on ships seems a bit difficult but you should see them all boosted overall
The green arrows are only showing you what stat increases to expect once you upgrade an officer via XP etc - not from the Prime Research

i am NOT on a "oneplus" and have problems staying connected. Constant drops. Although it sounds similar, my issue has been going on for about a week.
sometimes im stuck connecting, other times i connect no problem, but i always have connectivity issues

@compact dirge yes, it appears putting them back on the ship boosts them properly. It’s really buggy though. Gaila is still boosted despite not being aboard. The rest of the crew looks like pre-upgrade stats. I’ll reload the crew and see if the ship is stronger overall

@stuck girder lots are having the same issue. It sounds device specific. Your account should load if you use bluestacks to play the game, until a solution is found

There's a raiding issue. For example, a target base might show that it has 1.5 million in tritanium, 3.5 million in parsteel, and 50k in dilithium, but it's cleaned out after only a few hits. Either there's a glitch where it's saying that there are still resources to be raided, even though the cargo brought back is almost nil, OR it was cleaned out earlier, but it's not updating the amounts. I really hope this made sense because my head hurts trying to think about it, lol.

Me too OnePlus 6T no game controls at all after uninstall and reinstall it on first load it loaded 100% and I was at least able to see my base
But that's it I had no controls to do anything in game I then closed the app and reopen it and it's freezing between 76 and 91% and never fully loads regardless

if so, and you have access to a PC/laptop, try Bluestacks4. Gameplay SUX, but at least you can ensure your base is shielded, & get most dailies done.

I popped on a heavy shield before maintenance when I did get what I could loaded my shield was still up however my minor was destroyed because I was most likely UPC due to the fact that I was mining when I got booted out

Nox has the same issues it seems as One+

I don't know if anybody else reads this the way that I do so I'm asking for opinions. If its happening on both iOS and Android, then it is the client (game). They broke something in the coding and its not working right?
I am having the same problem as everyone else, Note 8 user, updated the game and it autocloses when fully loads on my phone. Nox emulator does the exact same thing. Bluestacks is the only thing working for me right now.

I'm an Android guy. A lot of folks with the OnePlus phone have been affected. My issue may be different than others, but for OnePlus owners, the game will not load. Gets stuck at 76% or 91% loaded. Freezes on title screen.
