the movements are random from you, and thus from the swarm, this might have the effect of different aiming/firing timings, hits/misses etc

My daily swarm killing event didn’t restart correctly. It reset the time at noon but says I completed all milestones yet I did not kill any swarm since the event timer restarted. I also did not get any of the rewards today. Can you please fix it?

The game shows ship finished battle, but when I go to choose a new target, it won't recognize the target. The ship still shown in previous battle.

I have some videos showing a bug which can't be shown in screenshots. Swarm issue. A ship recalled on the travel back to station changed from warping to destroyed, to warping, to warping, destroyed, still at swm system, did this for whole 3 min travel back to base. Ended on rebuild. The ship was originally recalled before it was destroyed.

I completed a level 39 defense platform. I did NOT get credit for the "increase strength by 500" daily objective.

Here are before and after screenshots. Note that this does NOT change after restarting the client. It's not a matter of delayed credit, it seems like completing buildings just no longer works, or maybe defense platforms themselves no longer work?

Completing research does give credit, but not buildings.

@placid flare if you attacked a station with Vemet as captain, that's why it's stuck. Don't do that, ever.

You need to submit a bug report in game to get support to help you.

#

You can also try asking people in your server (FRIENDS) to attack your station. Sometimes that helps, sometimes not.

@swift dust A fix was posted for this in the past but if I recall, it was to let your base get damaged enough to get a Defeat in your logs, then repair it and you should be good to go. You can remove your ships before this happens, and ask a friendly alliance to use a war ship with a low cargo hold, preferably one they have already filled up on something else.

i have no clue what causes it, but at least in this case luckily the workaround worked a few days ago. the teammate has asked someone he knows to visit his base with a powerfull enough kumari (all ships sent out of the base before) and after repairing, he could relocate the base again

But I do not know if in the background something happens too.. I will not try 😄 Maybe it should not be considered as part of the code if this happens right now or text-auto-replacement should be reconsidered. 😃

@fluid field it looks like the 10 minute auto shield may have popped after the second attack (or the first defeat). Doesn’t help with why wasn’t main shield working but it may help devs looking at the auto shield reports from recently (reports of it popping on second attack)

Typical - I have had the 8 hr peace shield fail too. I found that if you begin an attack on a ship on a mine and abort- shield stays on still. If you abort an attack on a floating ship- you shield will drop even though no attack contact was made.

This difference has made me thought my shield came down earlier than it should have . = not understanding the difference between the two aborted attacks.

Scopley support is total bullshit. They outright lie to you. Here they are caught in a lie. They said a 10 minute shield will not deploy if the attacking ship takes more damage than the base. I used my weakest officer in my weakest ship and attacked a base. My realta dealt minimal damage compared to the base yet the shield deployed. Scopley support are liars and have no honor.

There exist a bug where a ships hull health is mysteriously drained in between attacks. In this evidence I include 6 images, each depicting a battle report of 3 attacks as captured before and after the shield and hull health bars drain. Notice that the hull health at the end of each attack is then reduced before the next attack.

Attack 1 Before animation: 58k hull at full health
Attack 1 After animation: 45k hull remaining, took 13k damage
Attack 2 Before animation: 43k hull remaining - lost 2k between reports
Attack 2 After animation: 30k hull remaining, took 13k damage
Attack 3 Before animation: 28k hull remaining - lost 2k between reports
Attack 3 After animation: 14k hull remaining, took 14k damage

@slow flax this is not a bug. The stat additions from kirk's captain ability is giving you more hull in battle. Out of battle you lose it. This has been reported before in 1v1 fights where the person that wins still finds their ship destroyed at home because the battle was that close....Happened to me once vs a mayflower when I first got my legionary. Other guy was triggered af.:)

Kirk's captain ability is only triggered "When the ship has Moral" which does not happen until after at least one round of combat where he has a 50% chance of inspiring Moral. Also, his captain ability is to give the officers a bonus to stats, not increase the ship hull. None of the officers affect ships hull in this case.

The hull was 6109 at the end of the 1st attack and remained the same at the beginning of the 2nd.

@fluid field After you set your shield, restart your app and verify the shield is still there. By restart, I mean use the back button until you see this screen.

The problem is your client didn't successfully send the message to the server. It's like when you try to attack a ship and nothing happens, until you try again and again.

So from Scopley's logs, you didn't set the shield, because the server didn't get such a message.

So many people still complain of this that they should add this routine to their FAQ on the subject.

@fluid field Also, it would seem in your case that you activated a 4 hr shield when you probably thought you activated an 8 hr shield. Restarting the app will allow you to check your shield timer just the same. Don't be in such a rush.

Excuse me, I don't deny all that was logged, it Al happened, I'm bitching about the fact I put an 8hr shield up before bed, as always THAT WAS NOT LOGGED, it showed as ACTIVATED, I thought it was. @fluid field look at my post above, specifically the battle report. According to scopley, if a base receives less damage from an attacking ship, the 10 min shield will not deploy. I tested this with my weakest officer on my weakest ship and attacked a base. Guess what, the shield deployed when my ship received more damage than the base. This proves scopley are liars.

@native oyster, I'm sure it's resolved by now, but the only way I got around that was by deleting the game data and reloading the game. It has to download some game data and relink the account. Takes about 5 mins, but at least you get back in. You can tell when you have to do it because it always stops at 25%. I've had to do this twice already.

@native oyster I'm unsure what you're basing this message on. BlueStacks is not officially supported and as such, any issues in-game will have to be replicated on an actual supported device before Customer Support will assist but other than that, using it is fine. You will not get banned for using BlueStacks unless you're also using other software to automate or manipulate the things you do or have in-game.

@heady lava If an ability stops working when it used to, try removing all officers completely off your ship, confirm the change and then re-add them.
Also note that the notifications on the top of your screen aren't always accurate, ensure the ability isn't working by checking your ships actual current EXP before and after battle.

It works, it just isn't displayed when you click a node and the display shows speed per hour. You'll mine faster than it says it will. Use a stopwatch on it for a min or 5 then multiply it out to see your per hour amount @feral steppe

just a heads up if you find an update in playstore and it says "last updated july 16"do not update. i was instructed by support staff to update and have not been able to play the game since. it crashes on open. i contacted support about the issue and they couldnt figure it out and said they would pass on to engineers and not to contact them again.

While the developers are currently investigating this issue, please try one of the following solutions:

it failed for me in latest bs without the beta graphics, but works with (default ram, 2Gb)

I know some tune down BS to only use 1 core and under 2Gb

I still suggest at least 2 cores (default) for background processes

also, 1Gb disables UMC (Ultra memory caching), thus you always will have the transitions in between scenes

Wanted to report/etc this.

Can we be able to target ships that are "stacked" on things like planets or nodes? I.e., if you send your ship to a planet, you can sit on it and not be targetable, selecting only selects the planet. Add'l, if you "stack" on a node by going to mine when someone else is but they beat you, you currently "stack" under them and cannot be selected/targeted.

Essentially creates "bases" for someone to camp in a system without being able to be dealt with.

Looks like when you are tier 4 and upgrading the Saladin's big gun to get to tier 5, the net damage actually drops.

For me it has been about a 10-15% drop on my damage after upgrading.

Dont knowing it is because tier 4 is too strong or tier 5 is too weak, definitely seems like a bug

My station was hit from the first hit, my auto peace shields did not prevent further attacks. The screenshot shows the first and following attacks without the 10 min delay. I logged on at the 10 minute mark from the first attack and already lost 6M parsteel, and 600k dilithium.

Once I rolled back from 0.593.01932 back to previous 0.593.01864 the app
started working again normally. No crashes. Email Customer Support advised me to play using a mobile device and not an emulator to avoid such issues. Sadly if they dont fix it I'll have to say goodbye to STFC.

i have 3 "normal android devices" that the new update isn't working on. I've informed CS, I've been contacted by mods here to provide my playerid. I tested on a number of new devices at a T-mobile store next to where i work where they also failed to play the new update.

in regards to poor QA, well, personally I agree that sandbox testing is no match for testing against real production enviroments, but we mods addressed that multiple times, and it is being worked on

I tried the lastest version on BS and NOX fresh installs. On BS tried both DirectX and OpenGL settings. Even the beta setting. Tried with fresh install on Windows 7 and window 10 machine. Same problem, crash right after load screens finish.
Using rolled back version atm so i can play. Hopefully they can fix it so I can continue playing with future updates.

the thought was that it should work in BS beta since the apk on apkmirror specifies arm64-v8a support but all previous builds of the game specified armeabi-v7a

but the update in playstore in Beta BS did the exact same thing as regular BS and my 3 android devices, crashed... a force install of the APK does the same thing in beta

ok so to get your game working again in bluestacks uninstall the garbage version available in play store. next download this version 0.593.01884_apkpure.com.apk (size 105.4mb) https://apkpure.com/star-trek™-fleet-command/com.scopely.startrek/download/5931864-APK?from=versions%2Fversion. next go to media manager in bluestacks and import from windows and select the apk file, (should be in your downloads folder) then when offered install it. it may fail to load first time dont worry close it and try load it again . the second time it will start to download the additional content from scopely servers. wait it out then tap to continue and it should load. NOTE the menu overlay is missing. close the game again and reload and it is back working again

@fickle turtle the red flashining notification that your base is under attack often doesn't happen until after you have already been hit. It appears that what happened here is you selected to attack another player before your base got hit, your base got hit and your shield popped up, then your attack on the other player went off which caused your shield to drop. You would not have gotten a notification about attacking affecting your shield if you selected the attack before you had a shield active, but even so once your shield activates any attack will cause it to drop. Had it happen to me when I was raiding a base and someone decided to raid me at the same time. Attack notification came a second before my ship hit which caused my shield to drop, The notification was so far behind the actual hit that I got hit with 3 ships before I had time to put up another shield. I lost more from those 3 hits (by an obviously much larger player) than I gained from my own raid.

So the issue is that after i start the game and enter it i want to greet my fellow alliance members but when i click the chat and want to type the game restarts itself. Work pc isn;t that great btw, Intel I5-2400 Mhz, 4 Gb ddr 3, ssd for windows but the game is on hdd, win 10 64 bit. Only way to fix this is to restart my pc, but sometimes it's still happening after restart 😦

I'm using a Microcrap Subsurface Pro 2 with PrimeOS on it (because my Chromebook Plus broke 😭 ) and my STFC crashes immediately after loading up the game as well. I take it this issue that everyone has is related to a Unity engine upgrade. Out of curiosity, which Unity version was it upgraded to?

So i went back through the history and the best suggestion it seems for now is to install the second most recent apk from apkmirror, the July 11 one. I have installed that one, but it glitches to the point of not working within a few minutes. Is there a different apk to use, a solution to get that apk working properly, or some other solution to continue using bluestacks until this gets fixed?

Four different situations where an attack on swarm finished but my ship isn't able to go to the next attack, sometimes it can take a minute for the bug to go away before I can continue attacking, then it may or may not occur after the next attack. Sometimes it happens every time.

More of a performamce suggestion and possibly just buggy design but when you select a base there is obviously some communication going back to the server to fetch data about the base. The problem is that sometimes there is a little bit of unavoidable lag in this process that doesn't have to be repeated every time you select a different ship. If the app could register for an event notification on the base while viewing it and unregister when done, we can watch the base over time by allowing the app to update on changes. Data about the base can be retained when switching ships so as to avoid reloading the base details. Only a calculation needs to be made on the difficulty rating with regard to the selected ship but that doesn't require refreshing the data about the base.
