Yes, so use a ship with smaller cargo cap. You won't get the dil shot, but you'll get more rss than the Envoy that can't raid it anymore. I use my Jelly.

Sounds like the scope of this bug expanded with the vault protection increases. Perhaps that will help them target the cause of this bug.

I've never had this before but over the last 2 weeks my miners have been hammered by 2 particular players in an allian e we are at war with, usually within 10 or 15 minutes of them landing. Also, my base has been attacked twice tonight within the same time frame despite being in 2 different locations from where I started from ie I jump system and then go hunting. The same two players found me and attacked. We have maybe up to 100 regular players now, if that, and 62 of them are in that allian e. Tell me, how likely is that? Never used to happen like that. It would be some time before I was found, I'm not an idiot and I know how to hide and use random locations. I have no actual proof, but by god it feels like those two players have some kind of hack.

Generally speaking support always gives you the run around and doesnt fix anything. Riddle me this... So i complete Ship hanger 22 for a build event. It only gives me 200 points... for a 2day+ build time... I complete a parasteel gen upgrade that takes like 4 hours and it gives me 250 points.... So i contact support to tell them something must be wrong and i'm told from the rep that it isn't broken and that you get more points for items that increase combat power.... So shouldnt a Ship Hanger that gives 3% more hull health to my ships give more combat power then a parasteel genny upgrade???? Yeah, the problem, I think is that it is relative to your ships in dock and it calculates it from the base before research which makes it even smaller. The power provided with random building upgrades that do not contribute to combat or defense are a mystery to me.

my ship "A" is for some reason tied to a mining node. Even if i am not there, at my base, or doing anything else if someone goes to that particular node and tries to mine it, they will engage and attack what ever ship I have assigned to dry dock "A".
If their ship is stronger they will then destroy my ship assigned to "A" no matter where it is in the game.

The XP reported when you attack a ship (the one that pops up from ship icon during battle) does not represent the current battle but rather the previous battle. In this set, I hit several level 12 hostiles to ensure the same ship xp was gained for each. Then I hit a level 13. Note first that the attack on the level 13 shows 84 XP.
Then the log shows the level 13 ship really earned 99 xp.

Not sure if this has been reported already but these two mission types are clearly bugged.
They count what you have in your inventory rather than what you have acquired since starting the mission. This means that if you spend credits or plutonium then it is as if you never collected them in the first place.
Compare that to mining missions where you are credited with all of the resources or materials that you mine and are then free to spend or refine them without your mission progress taking a step backwards.

So they either need to fix the wording to make it clear you shouldn't spend anything or they should fix the way it counts. The bug where you can only attack a station with one ship, or can't attack it at all (either you or your mates) is getting out of hand on our server.
Yesterday I was one shotting shipless bases with my horizon and out of 30, 10 were impossible to attack.
And I do not mean the "refresh the system to see the base shield" bug. I mean the one where it tries to attack for 5-10s and then nothing happens.

I put 24-hour shield up but base was still able to be raided I lost millions of resources I will upload a photo now which shows my base the morning after raid still with shield around my station but if you know it's right hand corner there is no countdown timer for shield expiry

Folks, I know that you are just Mods, but I've heard that players are being compensated for the shield exploit. One of my Alliance members was one of the people who was completely compensated within the last day or so. Why the change in the process and will it be retroactively applied?

I completed all of the augment missions and collected 4 BB print offers from the faction store. Then they stopped. Im now 6 prints short, and when i contacted help, they told me to look for more missions. I think I got glitched, or maybe it was meant to make me buy the rest of the prints?

@drifting iris this has been on going for a while and they know about it but won't compensate unless you show them before and after screenshots with how much the repair costs.got to a point I was waiting for 3 days before the got back to me with sending 8 or 9 screenshots a day (would have been at least 20 if I'd sent them every single one) gave them an offer that would have saved them having to deal with me every day and was told nope we don't know when the problem will be fixed and not giving anything away

@mighty phoenix Scopely help is AI driven so be persistent until the AI gives up and you get a human. If you are sure that you only collected four free print offers (rather than the five you needed) and you're sure you've completed all the mission for the other 30 then that does sound like a bug.
But do double check your missions, especially any with mystery box rewards, as some of the prints come from missions that don't look like Augment missions at first glance.

The saladin isn't the Fed's primary faction ship. Interceptor -> Battleship -> Explorer. Flag ships always operate off the primary resource.

Around 05:30AM BST - I set my 8 Hour shield off before I went to sleep. I had set my alarms to wake me up around 10:30AM. I woke up to my station being emptied and no shield currently running.
Our server has been plagued by exploit / bug / cheaters for a while now that use outside information to scan for resources to raid
It is my belief that I was the victim of an exploit or game bug that didn’t give me the full 8 Hour protection that it should have given me and therefore I lost all my resources to a raid that should never have occurred.
I have forwarded all relevant information onto one of the Discord Mods for Scopely who will hopefully work with you guys to fix the issues at hand. I know that your response is going to be that you won’t reimburse lost resources anymore but that you are aware of the bugs...
This is starting to go beyond reimbursement and I’m considering taking this to Apple, how an you offer resources for real life money that can’t be protected and think it’s okay? Basically giving money away to other people because of a bug, if I buy a pack that has 10M Tritanium in it and I get raided for that full amount it means I would have just lost money. And not because of my game play but because of bugs and exploits that are not giving notifications or auto shields to people or outside cheats that are allowing unfair advantages to people because your servers API is not protected correctly. In the past - I’ve put a lot of money into Free to play games but I can’t here because my purchases won’t be usable...
I’ve attached all screenshots that might be useful. I expect reimbursement of the resources that I lost and an apology. I’m sure I won’t get the former due to a strange change in policy that has still not been communicated to the community fully

I'm experiencing a weird glitch: I've received the first tier reward for the current alliance event more than 10 times since yesterday morning. "Received" is more accurate: the WINNER notification pops up over the Events button, and the screen displaying the Khan token pops up, I press collect, and nothing really happens after that, no token in the event store. It's not a huge concern, but it is a bit annoying, I keep thinking I won something fun and interesting 😛

@ivory vortex <@&509691205798592532> The Warp bug is still there, especially on long journeys: the server decides the moving ship is arrived BUT the client still displays the same ship in Warp mode for 1-2 minutes more. Bounty attackers and faction fighters move according to the server side so kill the ship you can't control because of the warp mode still active.
Countermeasure #1: Always split your long travels in 2 or 3 steps
Countermeasure #2: IF you notice your ship still have 2-3 min of warp over the ship counter AND you get a "You entered in xxxx (enemy) zone" THEN relaunch your app asap so you might get a resync between server and client and get control back over your ship
PS. This bug is a sticky one and might last as long as the Brexit does😉

Since the login issues yesterday and your "fix" or whatever you did, the android client apk has become unstable with constant crashing out. This is making an already bugged game even worse! Many of us game wide and on various servers are getting flawed augment event award notifications and a Test No. 1 mission???
You also have not done anything about the repeated use and reports of exploit bots being used to track bases and dropping shields. When are you actually going to put this right and secure the games api??
Please do not just reply with your generic comments, how about a real person making a real reply? Also you really need to start looking at the complaints on the STFC discord server!!!

I mean to get that pop up to ask for permission. While it makes sense to have this strategy for newbie players,
for established players, it sucks since sometimes it takes days to move forward in main story missions.
Try to avoid deleting app, instead just update the app.
For them to fix it, they should have logic that if player lvl is > 5, ask for notification right away
if not, as per current logic.
I believe that android is their priority, not an iOS given use base.

Maybe this has been reported. Seems kind of old, but when my ship gains XP, this meter reports it is level 21/10. Isn't this supposed to read 21/25 since at my present tier, level 25 is the highest I can go?

During the last research event, after I completed the second to the last research level, I completed 4 more upgrades using the time speed ups PRIOR to the research event ending. I did not see the points increase after each. Thinking it was the same bug I’ve seen before where we receive awards the next day or after a reboot, I waited for the award to be recognized. It wasn’t. I then contacted support to award my earned prize. They didn’t stating that the I hadn’t qualified based on their mistaken report. I challenged what they said with the facts to no avail. Please fix this bug and do the right thing by awarding what was earned by a player. I cannot be held responsible for errors in the code but can accept it if Scopey people realize an error and fix it. To date, after 4 days, this hasn’t been fixed.

In the next few hits that wouldn't have happened said the 10min shield have happened i lost all my resources. I have asked for them to be refunded due to a bug that Scopley can't seem to fix but I was told they can't refund. @ivory vortex They have replaced resources in the past why not now?

Sort by shipyard level, and you can see there are two D3 Class Battleships in the ship list. There may exist two separate shard sets too so if you delete one, be sure to convert all copies of it's shards over to the other ship if they have different keys in the database.
@rare glacier Don't rely on the auto shield when you are offline. Use a standard shield. The auto shield is to give you time to get your ships home so you can defend. Maybe they saw that you didn't log on within ten minutes or even twenty so they assumed you would have been raided after the bubble collapsed anyway and that could by why they won't refund rss. Honestly, rss refunds for raids should be stopped. They are pouring rss into the game that feed the bigger players because people don't know how to protect their rss properly. "Use it or lose it," as the old saying goes.

I intentionally left myself open to attack after I was attacked with no in game alert let alone notification. In fact, there was nothing but one destroyed ship and all my rss missing to indicate I’d been attacked. Station wasn’t showing repairs. I recalled all ships that were out while I was trying figure out what was going on. The game crashed at that point. When I logged back on all my ships, including the ones recalled were destroyed as well as my station. Ten min later my game grasped again. When I logged on the ships and station were destroyed again. No notification. My shield was up this time. Checking log I could see it was after the third attack the auto shield activated. I repaired again. Game crashed. Logged on and was under attack. No notification. That was all till later. Game crashed. Logged back in and I’d been attacked by a fortunate. Unusual for me, my station is lvl 28. None of my ships were at the station and it showed repairing. There was no notification and no shield. Log showed what you would expect from an attack from a fortunate. No damage whatsoever. At exactly 5 min my station finished repairing the damage the fortunate didn’t do. All this was reported to support as it was occurring and they were informed I was watching it happen. The response was the usual know about it, fixing it, no promises when and can’t do anything about the 20+ mil in rss lost. That’s getting kinda old if you ask me. Take responsibility for what the game is to blame for.
And my earlier question. Any reason why rss raided from a station didn’t get added after I was attacked on the return trim. There should’ve been 425k. This happened all three times

@rare glacier I didn’t get a shied but my shield had been activated during the day anyway, although I got a warning at that point. What bothers me is that I was online at the time moving miners. Are we expected to have shields on even when we are online in order to make sure we don’t miss a notification, which people expect from again. I’m that’s the case, @ivory vortex, perhaps we need to receive more shields in the dailies as currently there isn’t enough to cover a 24 hour period. Either that or fix the bug, especially now that 500k can be taken since the BB came out.

BTW you can buy extra shields in the alliance store, I usually buy the 12hrs to use at night, then again if I have no large amount of RSS no need to shield so they accumulate, I have like 70*8hrs and also lots of 4hrs...

Why do you say that's bannable, @lapis kindle ? It's just using game mechanics as designed. The developers could limit the number of help requests by not resetting your counter when you join a new alliance (or rejoin an old one) but they have not done so.

The fortunate didn’t go through. Didn’t do a single point of damage but it trigger my station repair instead of shield for the duration of what my auto shield would’ve been.
Every first attack on my station crashed my game. I check every time it crashes now to see if I was attacked.
The main kick in the shorts was the first attack. I was watch my ships on mines because we’ve been having trouble with them being targeted. I noticed my botany bag get killed but forgot I left it at station. Didn’t think much about it getting hit. When I saw I had no rss was when I started looking at things and calling in survey ships because I couldn’t watch them. The game crashed again this time when I got back in my station was repairing and all my ships were destroyed
Before it crashed you couldn’t see anything but one destroyed ship. I was trying to figure out how I lost all my rss without my station being damage at the time it crashed

not reimbursing people for RESOURCES LOST due to your programming issues is stupid. This one reason people have stopped playing and or spending money on your game. You dont fix bugs and worry about new content more. Shields dont work or glitched so people can get through them. Then get a message we know there is an issue but we dont care enough to reimburse you for your resources lost due to our not fixing the game in a timely manner. This has been an on going issue for months now but you stopped taking care of your customer. This is how you lose player and revenue.

I’m the new leader of TOR we have an error system our game where if we put a base it can’t be hit. At this point in time I’ve directed our members to use it to keep safe under the condition they do not hit anything else as it’s not fair. good morning @ivory vortex would like to show you this screenshot video of the envoy/horizon/survey-ship-in-general bug that's aggravating me. i can attack the base, crack the base, even start to loot it. can't finish it, which is where the dilly is. lol, this combined with the 10 min bubble is severely hampering my ability to raid. PLEASE ask me anything that the developers want regarding data, and i'll help provide what i can. i've been testing, and it doesn't matter aboutship slot, or even the ship in teh slot... for me, all three ship slots eventually fail when trying to raid. terrible TERRIBLE glitch.

I am in the U.S. in the Central Time Zone and I cannot log back into the game. The login screen stays frozen at 25%. I have checked my interrnet connection and my hardware and all seem to be working. Are the servers down and if not, do you have any suggestions on how I can log back in? It's been 45 minutes and the withdrawal symptoms have started to kick in.

@slow flax I dont rely on the auto shield I was on at the time but got busy in a meeting. I hadn't been attacked in days because I shield all the time. Support can verify that. Support also admitted that they dont know why i didn't ge the 10 min auto shield. As you can see from the screenshot. he attakced me and in the time of less then 10mins he attacked me 3 more times and drained me. I got on at the end of the last attack. So had I gotten my 10 min shield i would have seen it and put a regular shield up

I've seen reports like this and the first hit wasn't the base cracker. Sometimes reports go missing that should be in there above your bounty hunter hits. Did you verify that "10m ago" report was the one that cracked your base. Even if it was, a ping with an ECS Fortunate wouldn't do any damage but only shield damage and any hull would repair automatically in minutes so it would be difficult to be certain that was the first hit. Until they get their logs fixed so they don't disappear on us, we can't be certain. I think some events are just not being recorded so the logs never existed.

Completing the event with 0 points remaining does not move the event over to the right as if it was completed. You actually have to get one more point to do that. You do get the reward though when you reach the correct point level.

I don't think it works like that. Most of the single bases we find like this inherited the bug but other guys of ours who move into the same planet don't get it. Zevis is the only planet we know of that seems to work with any base that ports in.

What kind of fail company couldnt move an account from one server to another.. any half competent dev should be able to write a sql query to export from one db to another... most evidence would indicate incompetence is at an all time high within scopely stfc team ... support would probably rank well ahead of the devs on that scale

i used to goto maranga 25 in klingon space for 3*crystal it had 4 nodes on each side left and right, last month it had 4 on the left and 3 on the right, now its down to 3 on each side

Augment Store bug: I just turned "Servant" with Augments and and my faction store for them just turned empty... like totally - there is nothing to buy and it doesn't even shows my Augment credits (but I still can see them in the inventory).

Been 24hrs still not been able to build my ship have restarted game/phone have deleted and reinstalled app. I have the blue prints and the correct shipyard level but still not able to build. This is extra time ontop of the 3days 10hours it takes to build the ship so that's making it nearly 4days and 10hrs to build maybe even longer if it's not sorted. I push the build button and nothing happens. It goes white but nothing after that if I push instant build I get told I don't have enough lat but nothing if I go to build it normally. In the past 48 hours I have had to hard restart my iPhone after opening the app. I get the “Scopely “ splash screen and then the app freezes. I cannot close it, or get to home screen or lock screen of the phone. This is unacceptable and indicates a major flaw.

Glitching stations are on the rise. As of the last update, it's up to about one in ten stations that can't be hit. Sometimes a ship from a different dock can hit it. Sometimes other players can hit it. Usually not. Restarts do not help.

Hi, I installed the game and was really enjoying it today other then occasional communication errors popping up but they progressively got worse to the point where now I cannot even open the game without getting flooded with them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and even wiped all the game's data from my phone with the play games app with no effect, the game is completely dead so I have uninstalled it and wiped it from my phone. Is there any way to get the game to actually function correctly or is it just a dead app? I have no problems with any other games and apps on my phone so the problem is definitely the game, not the phone. Oh well, have a better day/night.

I put in a ticket for the refinery not giving all the uncommon I rolled. Prior to refine roll.

Materials list after refine shorted me the 4 uncommon gas. This has happened anytime I roll uncommons in the double batch refine.

@quartz dust yea you’re lucky. A lot of people have sunk thousands playing this game only quit pissed off. It was a fun game but unfortunately with every update the playability has gotten worse and worse. If only there was a lemon law against apps😕

My game is linked to my Google account because I play on Android, but I play across multiple devices and the game data copies over with anything I do on one day. Only new officers, missions and chat will still return as showing new on the 2nd device.
The same result can be experienced if you go into the app settings and clear the cache AND the data.
Sometimes I have to do this to fix local content.

The protected cargo for bases is not working. At all. Currently it is possible not only to attack through shield, but to completely drain a base of all resources, even into negative numbers. This is a MAJOR bug that needs fixing immediately

Seems like something the devs slipped in to test part of the mission system, like rewards, logs, waypoints, etc. Just ignore it.
I doubt they added it to all the servers.

When I worked on databases, I would sometimes create test data to follow a transaction sequence through.
It could be something to that effect.

Create an error like trying to repair two ships at the same time. In faint grey text at the top right of the screen will have a server that looks something like
"live-020-web.startrek" where the number is your server number.
I'm going to include mine in my nickname here hoping the format catches on.

Just keep that in mine any time you post a bug report that is not directly linked to your account but affects anyone in your system.
Adding it to your nickname in your servers settings for this server will make it easier as you'll never have to enter it again.

I get different daily missions for two factions that are aboutbthe same level of reputation:

The reputation you have at the start of the daily cycle (midnight EDT) is what is used to set your levels so maybe you had a little wider spread a few hours ago. This happened to me. Just get your levels closer together and by new day you'll have similar goals.

Since 28.04.2019 at 14:30 my Phindra is still in a fight in CORDINA. I can nit move it, i can not call it back.

Thus the daily missions must be bugged. Some programmer fat fingered it and put the increased mission tier at 1.5M instead of 2M where the UI says it is AND where the daily events say it is.
I understand it has been this way for a while, but that doesn't mean it's not bugged. It's quite clearly different from everything else INCLUDING the UI, so it's bugged.

@hollow wadi I'm having no trouble progressing without increasing it arbitrarily at 1.5M, all this does is slow down my progress on my 2nd faction, it doesn't actually help at all.
Anyway if it's going to stay at 1.5M, that's fine, but there needs to be some way to tell the players that's happening in the UI, which is 100% lacking. In fact it is 100% contrary to everything else the game does relating to rep tiers.

Ivve seen lots of chatter in chat today (alliance and general) about ppl whose bases were raided DESPITE having shields engaged. If it were one or two ppl, I'd chalk it up to 'they forgot to reassure Dierks, but think they did.' but there are so many talking about it, that explanation seems unlikely. I was concerned too that it might have been someone who figured out how to spam into Galaxy Chat directly without the full game, but it's a lazy "bot" that required a human to go through the tutorials and just now has a script running every 1 minute. Probably on an Android emulator.

@ivory vortex in your post about faction quest auto completes you mentioned that you were still working on a solution. This error has tanked me so badly on federation rep that I have only clawed out 70k of the -230k I ended up with. Is their a resolution that can be offered yet? I would even take break even on rep at this point, but the grind out has been horrendous without dailies to help with it.

I am repeatedly offered 2 Kahn tokens I’ve earned but they are not being credited. Also, I’m sick of the game glitch that stops me access ing my daily goals to finish them off. That’s two loyalty tokens I’ve missed out on now because of this.

@open coral everyone is getting them over and over again. I've gone from 2-4 you would have had them at some point we've had this reward bug before and it's a massive pain. It wouldn't be so bad if you got the item every time but no you only get it once

So last night I wrote back that the boat is in slot B.

An i mean the Attacker stayed Shielded not the person getting hit
Also i just researched Prime protection and there was zero change in the amount protected by my vaults!

Your vaults show only what the protect by their level, then you have to calculate how much is protected on top and get raised to see how much stays

Yeah that’s what your vault protects, now multiply that by the percentage prime and other research gives you and you should know you protected then. Poor game design but it’s the only way

Please feedback if hitting a hostile captain drops your shield. I know for certain this has happened to me as Suport said I hit a miner and I know 110% I didn’t but did hit a hostile captain. This appears to be another bug that is easy to miss

@cedar crescent Maybe someone (a stooge) hitting attacker's own base after each raid? You might then have the feeling the attacker's base auto bubble is up forever but it was just toggling on and off, resetting after each hit taken
More generally this game suffers badly by underestimating the players wit: if there is anything anywhere to exploit then that's only a matter of time, players would find it 😉

Something is wrong with Envoy travel, regardless of crew complement. In these photos, the first one is taken when Turas and Envoy are headed to same system. Then I reboot and notice the time separate shifts from almost a minute apart to merely 7 seconds apart. This makes it difficult to plan for timed arrivals. I started this experiment when I noticed my Envoy get attacked by faction hostiles while it was still in warp.
The crew of this Envoy: T'Pring, Joaquin, Otto for maximum protected.
