Auto-shield doesn't function anymore. My base was hit by a big-shot player. First he aatacked me with his 264k Kumari and then, in the same minute he attacked me with his Envoy.

5 minute auto-shields are being very inconsistent now, I'll agree. It feels like if they've been popped once, they don't auto-pop again for almost 24 hours unless you manually shield. It's made it very easy to quickly clean out some bases, which sucks for the victim.

Had a problem during the Northstar week. Never got any blueprints until the last hour of the week. In all the whole week I only got 10 blueprints. All my alliance have Northstar ships and I was on every day during that time. I reported this in game and no one replied to me or corrected the problem. With all the time I played I should have got the ship easily.

only bluestacks 4 (android 8.1) and android 9 will allow me attack stations. builds of android 8 or lower i do not have the attack button available. the same account was tested on each version
also only bluestacks 4 or android 9 show peace shield bubbles active if you click on a station
it is probably simliar for those with lower build of ios
anyone has access to mutliple ios devices on each build please report the differences of each build for ios

My base with out any ships docked. 197k strength. My base when attacked while miners are out. I only have a defense of 89k . The ship should have died, but he won.. either a bug or a hack.

Honestly, bases are way weaker than they appear. My 120K Vahklas can crack a 170K base in a single hit, maybe a 180K if it rolls right. With a little work, I've solo cracked 250K bases no problem.
Which is another problem entirely because you have no way of adequately judging the strength of your defenses.

your nodes issues is a poor client response relay to state that node is depleted which is why the server doesnt respawn it
if the server doesnt get the client relay stating node depleted it just hangs

it is also the reason behind the miner timers being wrong all the time.

@native oyster @wooden tulip My station (level 20) before attack was in perfect shape. I was attacked by Clavidus first with a 264k strength Kumari and 5 seconds later by his Envoy. It might be the case that 23 hours earlier I was attacked by Clavidus. I can't remember exactly if it was 23 hours earlier or something like more than 24 hours.
Anyway this is a bug. The autoshield should be raised automatically if the station had no damage before the attack. The 24 hours window seems too great for me. I wouldn't make this window of opportunity larger than 15 minutes.

Do something with Officer shard generated in Chest. Right now your algorithm behaves like angry mean little kid. I have 3 crews now half of each is one shard from promotion and your stupid chest putting shards in useless officer with 1 out of 98 instead of finishing 19/20 and let player to promote and DO SOME PROGRESS!!! Its already beyond ridiculous like the app is trying to put shards anywhere but officers close to promotion.

@native oyster While they don't support BlueStacks, I can tell you that I have seen that red glitch and by changing from OpenGL to DirectX (or vice-versa) seems to make a correction. I have also seen it resolved by reducing CPUs or RAM. I have not scientifically derived which setting is correcting it, but it did stop for me going from OpenGL to DirectX.

Hi! I'm getting some unusual notifications from the game on iOS (Iphone X). I noticed that after playing the game a couple of minutes and locking my screen, my phone used to vibrate but no notification on the screen. I left my phone on loud (not silent) and i was surprised to hear the Star Trek FC notification sound once, then pause, then twice. It matches the vibration pattern i was hearing. Can anyone confirm this? I will try to reproduce on my ipad. || LE: Confirmed by another game player also.

@keen terrace I have seen that screen will show "Ask for help" for items that have already been asked. Meaning: The Alliance/Ask For Help screen is broken, but you probably already asked for help. What does it show on the main screen?
After waiting for 10 seconds, my Ask For Help screen grayed out the buttons properly since my items were already helped.

I do not think you can obtain help multiple times. On the main screen, you will see "X/Y" under your Build and Research progress bars. Those are the number of helps you have received and how many you can get based on you alliance's level.

The zoom function is being erratic, when you leave screen and return it is zoomed right in and means you have to zoom out again, also when when at max zoom out the ships turn into red triangles and names are no longer displayed . Very annoying

@kind knoll I believe that is the expected behavior when at max zoom out - just show triangles with level. I do agree that the full zoom-in after activity swap (screen change) is very annoying. Something sets this off, but I have not identified what. I do know if you quit the app and relaunch, the zoom is OK again.

@kind knoll Ditto - in BlueStacks. It's the sequence of having changed the zoom at some point. Mobile does the same thing.
@keen terrace It's based on your Alliance's level, how many helps you can receive. You have received all 16 helps of the 16 your alliance can provide.

BlueStacks is an Android emulator, so yes. I play on my PC and Galaxy S8. If you use iOS though, your game will not be preserved because the Apple Game ID doesn't move to Google Play Id.

I have the steps to reproduce the "system view is fully zoomed in" bug... at least this is one way that has worked 7 times in a row, all from clean launches on Galaxy S8 and BlueStacks emulator.
- Clean launch ST:FC. OK to click through any messages about missions in progress.
- In Galaxy or Alliance Chat, find a shared coord to a system you've never explored before. Follow that shared coord into Galaxy View.
- Tap on System View. It will now be fully zoomed in.

How are the recruit boxes counted? I save up 100 certificates every time for 10 boxes, then as I open and count the rewards they do not add up to the number that I get at the end. I can get four or five cards of the same characters, I only get X1 or X2 of whatever character appears. Are we supposed to get more, why does it not add up properly? @south bronze they changed the defence platforms a while to not count towards the station event. So its "working as intended" as they like to state. Why they changed it who knows.. considering the number of bugs in the game it makes no sense for them to have "fixed" something that was working fine. It's most likely another bug they can't be arsed to fix or compensate for so they just say it's been changed and working as it should!

Hey @native oyster, can you please look into Klingon mission "Theft of an Icon", judging by text you should be killing non-faction hostiles, but Mission sends you to system where you can kill only Klingon hostiles, which makes no sense in mission which was supposed to build up Klingon reputation. The final rank of research for Dilithium Storage don't appear to work. I have a level 20 dilithium warehouse that shows 8k capacity when you tap on it. When I checked my actual storage amount it shows 12,320 max storage. After finishing the research to get dilithium storage to the final rank, it still shows the same max storage.

Just FYI. 2.5 months of waiting to fix my issue that I can’t upgrade ships with time (issue I’ve had since I bought the jelly fish pack), I can only upgrade ships by paying gold. 40 emails now back and forth saying they know it’s a problem and are looking into it. This is getting bad. I keep getting booted out at random intervals. This time I was actively engaged with one of my ships when my game rebooted. During the reboot, my ship was attacked and defeated and returned to my base.
The other issue I have been having since the last weekend is with the zoom. I want a specific zoom setting. Now the zoom resets every time I change screens and I have to keep resetting it. Getting very frustrated with that!

@pulsar axle I think that may have to do with officer vemet. I had the same problem 3 times and sent tickets so they can recall. Officer vemet is only good for pvp with ships. But when attacking bases it bugs out. I would suggest switching to a different captain

Has anyone experienced or heard of a glitch that will drop an active base shield? It appears to be happening on my server and is being perpetrated by some in the strongest alliance on my server. Exploiting code errors with multiple miner hits with an opposing shield up somehow tricks the stations into lowering is what I’ve been told but I haven’t tested. One of our guys was even cleaning out to zero on some rss mats? With vaults how is that even possible?

@south condor I’m talking about an active in-place shield. Somehow they are doing something that causes them to drop. The guy came back online after being alerted by another alliance member on Discord. Didn’t even get the in-game alerts until an hour after the attack started after he was cleaned out. This has happened to multiple people in my alliance and I think my station was tested with this same technique but I was online when it happened. Now I don’t have a battle log of the attack.

I really wish they would let me help. I speak 22 computer languages. I have degrees in Physics and Mathematics. I design software and mobile apps for some of the richest people in the world. I believe a lot of the bugs are pretty straightforward where either not all factors are being applied to an action (e.g. research, crew complement & level) or the server returns inconsistent values. This might be why the dashboard mining timer and the dialog pop-up timers do not always agree. It is also why the warp timer sent to the UI doesn't match the server's timer and you get a stuck warp. Or ship repair time on the dialog is one value but when you do it the calculation is correct.
You end up with a situation where "when the UI asks the question this way, you get X" but when it asks for a different screen, you get Y.
Don't get me wrong, it is a super complicated mathematical problem to design an economy and battle simulator with this many moving factors. Just have to be sure to include them all in the right places.

@native oyster it doesn't seem unusual to me that you can get rss from planets as well as asteroids. There are several other systems, further into faction space, where there are this kind of rss node.

Support didn't seem interested so posting here. One of many players using hacks and/or bots to manipulate game.
No one is able to attack him, despite being unshielded and actively attacking others in game and still not able to hit.
There are several other players we have found, that seem to employ a similar tactic/hack.

@onyx bear can you explain to me what I may be missing with the officer recruit cards? I saved up 3k romulan recruit tokens. I started with 41/100 shards for Nero. I bought the 5 pack and opened each chest individually. all but one chest had a Nero card in it and I got about 5-7 Nero cards with some showing from 1x to 3x on cards. at the summary screen after all chests were opened, it showed 2 nero, 45/100 and 43/100. By my count, going by the number of shards, it should've been 57/100 in my office rscreen but only shows 45/100

@native oyster Seeing a bug that's come up yesterday and today. Mining nodes are showing empty or showing a ship next to the node but the node is actually occupied. Another issue is coming up where someone may jump on a node where your selecting while you're in transit. Your transit time may not be correct or show your location correctly and you may not have time to correct. Simple solution, as always, avoid warping directly to the node and give yourself a little time after to select and ensure the node is indeed empty.

They are treating us like an I.T. departments treats the average Joe in the office. Most of us gamers that I have met and interacted with know (apparently) more than the coders working on this game and know customer service better than @onyx bear, @native oyster, @native oyster, <@&509690795536941056>'s do. It is sad to see a game with this potential and obvious revenue possibilities go down hill because the developers would rather release new content that is buggy, sheer crap (DJ Steve Aoki as an officer), or simply releasing new content before they have fixed the recurring issues that plague us every day.

inbox also only keeps the last 20 records in game, so if you continued to battle after the reported incident, the information you want to show might be lost

It often retains last pvp event long after pve should have spammed it out. If you are looking for a pvp report scroll to bottom and the last one or two pvp reports are usually there even if you have done 20+ pve battles since

Base and ship tags are not showing correctly. Have had instance of folks incorrectly hitting ally bases and ships only to show that the tags are showing incorrect. My hope is that he is founders and its coming our way, but when they give him 80 uc crystal on a x2 refine which we pay £100 for, it also does give me other emotions... hoping @native oyster can clear it up.

So this is the experience for the new servers @native oyster . The absolute maximum UC we can get in 1 hit is 12. Though obviously there is more chance of winning lottery while getting struck by lightning riding a unicorn than that.

Repeated raiding on this base with an empty envoy produced no rewards, maybe 100 steel at a time. If stuff is protected by vaults, don't show it in rewards (just like ship protected cargo)

I thought mining ships would back off when arriving at an occupied node after given an order to "mine" when it was empty with an active peace shield. Instead I have an hour of repair plus a wasted peace shield from suicidal captains attacking with no warning or confirmation

.002 lat to 1 faction credit when you are faction aligned which is exactly what you designed to be. I have 17 officers unable to upgrade.

Ugh, logged in today to discover my uncommon refined resources was cut down to about 1/3. Any idea what happened here? I was halfway in saving up for a level 19 building upgrade and my uc ore dropped to 50ish, instead of over 150.

No 5 minute shields now? Bad enough your station can’t even hope to defend against ships twice its power but now you don’t even get a chance without a shield activated. Then I go to apply one and my game crashes and I get to sit through all the load screens while being hit.

Flying times are completely off rails! Shows me 5 min to a destination, after 2min click on „locate“ ship still shows in home base, and a minute later the ship is at the location, but shows a 5h (!!!) flight time to be where it already is.

My point is when you sold the northstar it should have had a disclaimer saying that you can't use this for its intended purposes until you reach lvl 28 because you need a rare crystal that no matter how many you down loaded in your vault you can't have until lvl28! This really looks impressive on you dev's at least since you fup so badly with this why not save face and offer a way to buy this in the stores before lvl 20 and up fir people that have bought the northstar please ty. @Q2firewolf5680

My alliance, have come across several bases which are glitched and then cannot be attacked. Targeted and ships sent in...yes..but no actual attack happens.
They have no shields raised and player continues to send out ships to attack others. So pretty obvious they are exploiting 3rd party systems.

Had this issue and turned settings off. Cleared localisation and then turned settings back on. Reboot game and it seems to have been fine since.

@nimble wind when u use helvetia it says the same bonus than domitia, but when the ship cargo is full, not empty. At first it seems to work, because the going to a node and the coming back full shows at first the same time. but when coming back, once the timer passed, the ship doesnt seem to empty. if u force close your game and enter again, it shows the ship still in transit. and transit time is the same as if u didnt have helvetia onboard.
