Yep, I heard about a lot of shield issues including one of our own setting a 1 day shield just to come back on 6 hours later and find out he as one of the major contributors to our server losing Incursion badly.
2 other payers reported similr and were smacked. This incursion was a joke. The mst lopsided loss we have ever experienced. Their Ops70's outnumbered us both in quantity and research.

I've noticed while doing silent hostiles that the numbers from the battle logs just don't match up with the damage received. Anyone else getting the same thing?
Check these screen shots.
1st is the hull health after killing one hostile - 910.85m
2nd is hull health after killing next hostile - 901.48m - a loss of 9.37m
3rd is battle log from this second hostile, went 2 rounds, total damage it says I took to the hull was only 1,917,275
So where's the extra 7.4m damage coming from?
(Only seems to happen when the fight goes 2 rounds, a 1 round fight seems correct)

@jaunty light getting repeated freezes that require rebooting and it's impossible to target in silent space. Battle reports are generated but it doesn't show you in combat. When you target ships and attack it says "invalid ship location" and then updates the ships in the system. Worse-it makes it impossible to target enemy server ships (incursion). It targets them but as soon as they target a hostile it shows them in perpetual combat and you can't retarget until you reboot or attack another hostile that gives an invalid location error and reboots the system.

Just telling us how it works would be a good start. Personally i think they confused matters with the team brackets, Leader +/- 7, and how the matches are made, which appears on the surface to just be arena ranks. But in no reality is, let’s say, a group of mid 50s with all gold ranking in any way a match for mid 60s with bronze, let alone gold. Either that or it’s broken.

That’s the big gun, particle beam delay doesn’t affect it. Particle beam delay is for normal Xindi hostiles. I am assuming you hit a Xindi Aquatic hostile in token system ? For the Aquatics it’s a 30% chance the big gun activates in the first round.

We should develop a mismatch metric and search for the match with the highest mismatch metric (your screenshot would most certainly considered even more unbalanced, I think)

I personally had somewhat balanced matches. Mostly was weaker against the enemies. But we had one which could defeat them all. So it was still a bit challanging to win. Those screenshots suggest there is still room for improvement. Some hard restriction to prevent blatant mismatches like those in the screenshots.

Arena armadas are broken as heck. I attack somebody at 12 seconds left, they're in battle until 7 seconds. They shouldn't join the armada, according to the usual rules of armadas. But they do. It makes it impossible to use skill to block a bigger player from doing an armada. Surely this isn't intentional, because if it is then that's incredibly dumb and goes against what your biggest cheerleaders (the content creators) have been pushing which is that arenas aren't about bigger power but about skill.

You should still get 400 Arena Emblems per loss.
They have not announced any changes to arena but something has changed. I used to get 25 Armada credits per hostile kill but now there are 3 hostiles I always had 97 Armada credits for some odd reason and matchmaking is even worse than in previous weeks

Whenever the Arena runs, my client keeps downgrading the Graphics settings for "Target FPS", "Anti Aliasing", and "shadow resolution". This is on the PC client, it only seems to happen during the hours where Arena is active. My "Target FPS" will drop from uncapped to 60 or 30 which is noticeable. The others drop to lesser values from their maximum values. I have an RTX 3070 so it can run it at max settings with no issues no matter what is happening, these settings shouldn't be changing on their own.

Well, quick visual confirmation proves there's a scoring bug against Klingon hostiles for 61-70, only scoring 45 instead of 55 for faction hunt, very annoying to find out it's better to just hit lower for the same score

Great… we’ve been complaining for months about that video button repeatedly popping up… now it won’t go away at all. Can you guys do anything right? How do we get this fixed? Complain that it needs to be up all the time, so you guys will do the opposite and make it go away?

if Scopely would really "test" new deployments before release, this obvious bug must have been noticed. So now we have proof that they don't test at all

using smart speedup on away teams from the ship crewing screen doesn't actually free up the officer, you still need to go back to the away teams screen to claim the report in order to get the officer available again.
