it would be useful if this game had a 4th chat channel (besides Galaxy, Alliance and Private chat), only for allied and friendly alliances, this way it would be easier to organise a territory defending, call for help when a player from an allied alliance is raided, asking questions about the game or just chatting
Your list of allies may vary from the list of allies of one of your allies. So they may respond to a message from one of their allies which you donāt see because they arenāt your allies, so you think theyāre showing up for your TC bet they were really saying yes to their other ally.
Please make it so we can do multiples of alliance donations instead of only singles.

My Intrepid blew up an OPS 37's Bortas. It seams his PVP system is different than mine. The issue I am writing to have corrected is: please add the Bracket for the OPS levels to the instructions. Example: For Mezara if the bracket is 30-35 then add that information to the instructions. If I knew he was from another bracket and I couldn't score points by blowing his ship up then I would have left it alone.
I know neither of you are support. I wrote the three of you as I don't see anything actually broken. The above is a request for future "Doomsday SLBs" or really any event in which there are different systems for the PVP portion of an event. Please feel free to reach out if I failed clarity.

if you were in mezara.... and that's your pvp zone. and the 37 pvp zone was maltahn, WHY was he spending a warp cell to go to mezara??? that just seems........... silly...
even though mezara is a normal pve zone for them, they'd have to spend a warp cell, so why woudln't they go somewhere else? lol i dont think you failed clarity. i thin you did what your event told you to do, which was kill blue's in your zone. they have 9 other systems to go to. and only 1 of them is a gated system. the gated systems WERE FOR pvp. so that's just silly.
but they included a pvp system for another bracket in the regular systems ... maybe he thought he could hunt in peace in a gated system

There are research nodes that help increase the amount of rss that can be collected from destroyed hostiles. This is a good thing. Can we expand it?
Could we introduce research that would increase a player's chance of collecting ship blueprints and other research that would do the same for ship parts? This wouldn't be a freebie, but earned by level and rss spent on the research.
(PS: if this already exists, I must have missed it, so please enlighten me to it's location).
Another request: when an alliance has acquired territories that have duplicate services, could you insert a warning that a duplicate service is about to be activated, so that the person activating the service is aware and can cancel the activation.
Despite repeatedly alerting members to the fact that certain services/buffs don't stack, ppl continue to blindly activate all the services and waste our Isogen rss. I'm sure our alliance isn't the only one experiencing this.
(It would be cool if these buffs did stack, but at least insert a warning page if that service is already active from another territory). Thanks!

Can you please put a "are you sure?" question or prompt or something in the Instant latinum repair button! As I'm so fed up with accidentally wasting hundreds of latinum when I accidentally press the repair with lat button instead go the repair with speedups button. I dread to think how many thousands of players have wasted millions of Lat when they didn't want to just because the button is so close to the normal repair button.
I like 2nd builder, so how about taking it a step further. Let's add the ability to build duplicate bldgs, such as a refinery, r&d, etc. This ability to build duplicate bldgs could be done through Prime Research Nodes and certain level requirements.
Second research would have been much better tbh. Always got way more research to do than buildings.

While the research options are great and all.. can we work on the RNG with the refinery? I can say from a semi-f2p stance that refining 2x daily and having a high chance of getting nothing but common all week (itās happened) when I need loads of unc is kinda disappointing and hurts when trying to be competitive. Maybe not today, but eventually youāll lose a f2p player base if it doesnāt get fixed, cause they cannot progress.

Also I think ship to ship transports would be great, as long as you have two ships in the same system it completely makes sense to be able to transport crew between them.
Maybe an āautogrindā feature. The game gets so repetitive especially when ships get much higher level and the hostile grinding never stops. This would just be a button that you could add to the ship āmanageā section where it could automatically attack hostiles from a certain range. Then there could be a certain amount or just until your ship is destroyed. And it would probably cost X amount of latinum to avoid inactivity. This would make it slightly easier to say, upgrade a ship or finish large hostiles events such as cosmic cleanup.
Another one would be similar but it would be with base raids. Draining a person takes so long and it can be especially difficult with the lag in-game. This would be much easier than attacking a person maybe 4 times every minute because you canāt load the station. There are my words of wisdom and thanks for ālisteningā. Even though scopely probably doesnāt look at these lol

At a bare minimum, we need to be able to hot swap crew that are already onboard a ship. For example, my primary miner had Barot, Stonn, T'pring and Joachim on board. When that crew is on my T9 Horizon, I have a minimum of 73k pc. With hot swapping I can be more efficient at mining nodes that flip between materials, or find a node of a material I need without returning to base. The same goes for my B dock crew which can flip from Hull Breach to Burning just with members on board. I do understand the locked slots issue based on ship level, but that just means that Officers I want to swap would go on the left side of the lower deck.
I'd also like to see tiering moved from the dock to the hangar (or possibly the shipyard as tiering is the functional equivalent of a major refit).
Finally, can we get some semblance of balance between the major factions? For example, Romulans lack a counterpart to Groombridge/Ursva, only Klingons seem to have a system where level 38-40 transports drop 5 and 12 hour speed ups on a consistent basis, Romulans have the advantage of a system with large gas nodes in their Territory etc. Granted, based on the map, giving Feds a protected source of crystal may be hard to explain, but some of the other things should be doable.

During TC could you fix the lag or limit the alliances involved? For example, only the joined alliances could enter during a takeover. Would be possible to increase the timer between leaving and joining an alliance?

How about not putting the beginning missions into a system of a warp range of 40??? ššš you get to the Fed missions and they require even more of a messed up warp rating. What I've learned is that unless you drop a good 10k youre screwed. Over 1.5k into the game and L7 missions became available last week. The game is becoming unenjoyable fast.
Ahhhh, group chat for allies, Iām guessing you havenāt thought it through. You have allies, your allies have allies... does everyone go into one chat or do you see just your allies? Just your allies of course, but that means the same is true for your allies.
You ask your allies if they can help for TC, you see a response of āyes weāll be thereā. Your ally doesnāt show up! You ask them WTF? They say they were responding to a different ally about a different TC or even a base defense.
Easy enough to implement, adds crappy chat experience because different alliances have different allies.

When you bring in deep space nine it should add a bridge/control center to the station and bring in some officers that improve the station economy (better refine results, improved efficiency, etc)
Cloaked ships. A ship enters a system cloaked but the moment you try to perform an action the cloak drops and the ship is visible. Or at least give us the ability to hide behind moons or the star. Maybe a nebula here and there.

Suggestion for update in base. Is it possible to get the option to enter the ships hangar, to see the ships you have in the hangar. So you can see what you need to collect get to upgrade the ships.
Help jumping between alliances. Instead of thinking of a smart way to punish and prevent it, how about rewarding loyalty and the longer youāve been in the same alliance the greater reward and as soon as you leave it resets.

How about a "Start Now" button for Armadas? If your group is going from armada to armada, sitting around waiting for 10-12 minutes is a waste, when every one is there. Default to 12 mins, but then have an override to start when you are ready.

hello question about Language interpentation in game..Is there a setting for it. or does the game interpids different languages differently? i got a few who speaks Potriguese and i have to use google translator to talk to them..if they have the game set up in portraguese and mine is set up for english does it show the translation correctly? or speaking in potriguese is a way to communicate with them??
@lusty sleet you still need to fill lower decks, eventually you max out an officer and it's worthwhile to get others. same with refinery, eventually you need commons and run out of latinum.

Having choices for certain officers would require there to be a lot of different recruit crates and on your point earlier, the only common that can be of any use is scotty with his warp +4 other than that all other commons are useless past a certain point as their abilities are either bad or have low points

Individual players who are not part of an alliance should be able to be marked as enemy. When an a-hole player decides to go rogue and ignore ROE, there is little that anyone can do about it. If they could be marked, they would be easier to find and at least level the playing field and give other players a mechanism to fight back.
Oh, and get rid of the stupid banners
Scopley hates ROE so they don't mind solo players doing that.
What about a transwarp token that could drop rarely from hostile traders that gives access to a hostile-to-all system with a 'black market trader' who can exchange one type of material for a lesser amount of another, with a cooldown? Strong hostiles would spawn to stop people being able to camp there. Would potentially give us a way to use up old resource we no longer need, or another way to get resources while refinery is on cooldown.

@nocturne lanternel. Not everyone is at the same level, some people donāt have decent access to the rare and epics so being able to choose a common would be valuable. Also, cadets are VERY valuable at the lower levels, uhura etc.

Please make the complete ship repair button higher than the "Recall" button. In case of robbery, it often happens that as soon as you sat down at someone else's base, you need to fly back, BUT if you were killed you do not notice that the "Recall" button does not look quite the way you wanted and you spend the lats, which you would not dare to spend, but would have repaired the ship yourself for accelerators. I have already burned about 10 thousand lats like that, but I could have saved. Why are the buttons different in functionality in the same place? Vote friends

This. An alliance bank where all members can contribute and commodores and admiral can choose who to give to. This could have some sort of bank statement for each player where they and their alliance leads can see whether theyāre robbing their alliance or being charitable

Lucky recruit pulls have gotten more unlikely lately. I haven't seen a lucky pull for any recruit in any chest for about 4 months myself. I used to get them about once every 10 on Ultras and once every 25 or so on premium pulls.

There needs to be a limit on how many deep space systems that an alliance can hold. That would bring a little strategy into play. The current situation cedes all deep space to the alliance with the biggest pocketbook.

@lusty sleet at level 15? really? do you remember having an abundance of ultra recruit cards just lying about to pull even one recruit roll from that pile? Didn't think so. That's what's stopping them.
I'm not just saying we should get to choose who we pull in recruit crates, i'm saying we need to do away with all the random rolls and have guaranteed choices. The recruits are just the most obvious example because every single recruit pool is just so jam packed with garbage that the odds of getting anything even remotely worthwhile are miniscule.
My suggestion for that is to have a choice, if you get 5 pulls in a crate you have to pick 5 different officers, that way you can't just load up on 1 every time. There are many potential ways to handle it that would work effectively.
Samiliar things could work for refinery, guaranteed pulls but instead of refining everything all the time you have to choose what you get.
I'll admit my original suggestion was very vague but this is what I meant, better choices than random rolls. gambling is illegal in most states.

- Remove the 18K cap on refined mycelium... it has no reason to exist except to annoy players

Would it be so hard to set up the ability to transfer officers from ship to ship, as long as they're in the same system, instead of having to send ships all the way back to your starbase? In Star Trek, ship2ship transport is easily done (even over long distances, though it's not recommended!) So it should be a feature in STFC.

We would only like to kill the enemy going for the territory, killing their alliance is a waste. And with only 1 enemy icon itās extremely difficult as we have to scan first.

well the enemy in takeovers should have the little white icon next to them to help identify them as the attackers and signed into the takeover.
You need to add more capture nodes per system. You get lvl 50 players with 20-30m power ships that can sit and take all 6 nodes in an alpha system and there is nothing you can do. Game dynamic is unfair
Update gift chests. 5000 titanium is the same it was 2 years ago. Gifts should represent levels os achievements. A level 35 chest should be better than a level 20. Itās a gift but make it worthwhile

Agreed. I also seen other games where if a normal armada wait time is 15 min and the armada is full, then owner can launch in 5 min (instead of waiting the full 15 min)
Besides ya know, not sucking, how about being able to choose a spot when you relocate a base. Then you could increase efficiency while raiding or interruption from being raided.

Could i have given several examples? Sure. Did I need to? Not really.
The suggestion I made already has in game implementation in the form of event stores and transporter patterns. It already appears the Scopley is moving in the direction of doing more of that so thats great, i'd just like to see everything done that way.
Those implementations already in place work perfectly fine so the statement that "it's not gonna work" is patently false. Please don't just assume i'm going to complain if my suggestion gets implemented in a different manner than maybe I wanted. An improvement is an improvement and i'm good with that.

This has probably been suggested multiple times, but mentioning it again as I think territories is great but not quite as good as it could be:
Restrict access to territories during takeovers to only those alliances who have paid to participate in the takeover. All other ships forced to return to station when takeover starts. At the moment contested takeovers are rare as the defender can just call on other alliances to help them defend. If its just one alliance versus another its more exciting and probably solves the performance issues as well.
Just refining this idea:
Eliminate the victory/defeat over hostile banners - if you are fighting hostiles you know when you won or lost.
Eliminate the Event update banners for milestone events and Alliance LB events
So the only banners you get are SLB event score updates, Armada victory/defeat and any PvP related activity such as a player attacking you. Those are the ones I want to see.
Territories has just become diplomacy and alliance hopping. No cool battles. Just a board deciding, lame and Boring. No fun.

Please give us an option to completely deactivate the banners! When playing an event huntings NPCs they are delayed by 6 minutes! No help at all, only annoying!
If the goal of the banner was the frustrate the player base and take up screen space and Waste time. Great job. If not. Get rid of them.
Can we get some more high level armada spawning systems please or faster respawns on existing one, so many people can do the high end ones now you can never find them even at normal times let alone during an event that gives points for armadas
TC was introduced with "Ready your battlestations and summon your allies!" There is a huge amount of sunk cost in diplo and allies, and this is how this was sold from the start. Overall, this provides some balance for alliances that are very active and involved but not big spenders.

Could we get another tier of Swarm for 40+ that allows either the current quantity or a smaller number of 35s? Seems weird there isn't an option to do 35s at all, and being able to do less as part of dailies from 38 or 40 would be a nice quality of life win.

In real life, you call you allies to help defend your land. This game mimics that. It's called diplomacy when you get other to help you.

I would like to suggest a Faction Officer(s) like Cadet Scotty. However I would start this officer with a +5 warp and maxes out at +10 HOWEVER - You cannot use Scotty as I would make this mechanism cancel each other out. The other part of this that if a whale or high enough player potentially has all three main faction "warp" officers they do not totally stack but would have a very small increase even if Max'd.
Still mimics the real world, our maps donāt change much (obviously it has throughout history, but since WW2 not much in the big scheme of things)

I've seen alliances removing low level players and stacking with higher ops from others just to win TC, they drop tags soon after. so, limiting access but still allowing this miserable tactic is useless

Are you doing all that every day?! I can easily complete my dailies in 20 minutes every day by mining overnight, hitting hostiles takes 15 mins tops and then just logging in through day to collect. Borgs and outlaw are about 1 or 2 hours of grinding 1 day a week to top up. Mining data and iso is really pretty easy. You are doing it wrong and complaining about the wrong things....
What are you using to become this high? Even the faction dailies requires minimum 50 hostiles killing. You cant kill 50 hostiles in 2 different systems under 15mins.
Well, you are choosing to do all the hostile dailies. I just kill 25 in one system. I kill 38/39/40s. To save time I park my ship in the system the night before
Any additional time I spend in game is my choice. Normally to hang out with my alliance, do armadas or TC

You need to stop people from moving alliances 24 hour before takeover. If an alliance has a takeover within 24 hours. Nobody can join. This will ensure level playing field. If lvl 45-50 player switch alliances itās unfair advantage. This is very bad game mechanics
I have max mara - when completing threat from beyond heroic at ops 35.... excess officer shards aren't transfered into transporter patterns or officer xp. 8 shards every week are being wasted. Please could this be addressed as it makes the heroic threat from beyond 25% pointless in completing
That only works for defense, what if someone joins at 8am and then the alliance decides to try a takeover at 4pm the same day? Will the new joiner be auto-booted, what if the person is level 5, still booted?? What if level 50 but doesnāt participate, still booted?
The above scenario allowed... an alliance could choose to give up a territory today at 10am that they would have defended tomorrow at 4pm. Now they can have anyone join and then pay to takeover instead.
Let us relocate to other alliances' territories.. but forbid shielding? so we can still raid
In addition to galaxy chat and alliance chat I think we should add system chat to allow players of different alliances to communicate together during things like defence. Almost all of the other space games I play have this function where you can communicate with everyone who is in the exact same system as you. ļæ¼
My store page is cluttered with Prime Research packs for research that I've already completed. Can this page be cleaned up by removing those research packs once we complete the research, even if we haven't bought them, or maybe splitting the store into sections, where 1 section contains all of the prime research packs, another section contains standard packs, and another section for event packs? That feels like it would be a lot easier to navigate.
Another one for alliance leadership (Admiral/Commodore) would be a way for us to send out a message that will reach all alliance members without getting lost in the alliance chat. The "Battle Reports" screen has a tab for "Inbox" that is unused, and allowing players to message each other through that and to also send out messages to the full alliance would be very helpful for takeover planning and other alliance-level reminders.
Scopely doesnt care about alliances as much as they say, at least not any further than it mades them money.
Really long-standing problem in the game is skewed hostile spawns in systems that have different levels and classes. Instead of tending toward an equilibrium where everything that system has continues to be represented in roughly the same numbers, whatever you're hunting tends to dry up. Players get unhappy about this because they need classes for crew/class match or levels needed for dailies, it leads to tempers flaring, people blowing up other grinders who need the same thing.
Spawning needs to have an implementation that's closer to token bucket: blow something up, if there isn't a like-for-like replacement, the new spawn shouldn't be some kind of completely random draw, it needs not to create the kind of skew that currently exists where, even if you have a system to yourself, hunting leaves the system full of the opposite of what you need. You get stuck needing to hunt with two ships, which is fairly well guaranteed to be substantially less efficient, or you have to wait and hope someone else doesn't come in and blow the equilibrium that is slowly stored.
All of this sucks in terms of frustration level and the ability to complete grind events in a timely fashion. Please fix.
āļø The new doomsday hostile systems have this problem in spades, it really mars the SLB events, makes them into a much more frustrating timesuck.
Just fix the basic bugs that everyone gets. THEN focus on content add-ons, new events and, inevitably, new currencies

Going to add improve event 3g rewards after all. Just spend 13h on slb and gained 24 crystals by being 1st. This morning my ops38 refiner gave me 36 by doing nothing and usually 75k gives over 30 uncos anyway.
Increasement of slb rewards should be worthwhile the effort, 100 to 200 range.
Higher faction ranks should be locked by ops lvl. I'm lvl 32 can't finish three from four dailies, because i need to collect g4 ressources without access to the deep space g4 nodes and i have to destroy lvl 41 faction ships which are outside the deep space very rare and to powerfull.

All of the station hubs in Independent and Faction spaces should be capturable. Example: if you capture Midnight, you own that and the 6 systems around it. Owning it works just like TC space. Particle Generators setup on a rotational basis each week. Mines are owner controlled. Only downside to owning these territories is they do not connect to other territories, so you're limited to owning 1 set. But it allows 14 new TC spaces to fight for.

I fail to see your point. I can raid all over the map now.
They'll never go for that model... as it stands, you belong to whatever faction you choose. If you side with the Roms then mining in Vendus A is peaceful, otherwise you're always being chased by them. There must be mining locations where TC doesn't exist... and faction space can never be "up for grabs".
Multiple people have already suggested needing additional diplomacy statuses. Would it be possible to allow an alliance to create their own custom diplomacy statuses so that other players can be marked appropriately to whatever situation arises?
the existing three statuses don't affect the mechanics at all, just tags other players with a visual icon that can be interpreted however they want to be by a specific alliance. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to just add a few more statuses and allow alliances to specifically define what each ones means for them.

I really wished Scopely finally dropped all those useless notification bubbles. Did a series of swarm kills, a few armadas were launched, on top of that there are notifications pertaining to current events. Swarms long done, and five minutes later the notifications still go off like crazy, with the important armada notification popping up when that armada is almost over... Want to tap Factions to see where I am with Feds, boom, another stupid popup that I tap instead, taking me to an event overview... Seriously annoying š¤¬
Set up a server tournament actively for alliance to fight each other and hand out prizes to top 8 alliances. Or allow cross server warfair and hand out prizes for top 25 or 50 alliances. Use like a hockey playoff bracelet system. If need be force level caps or scale players to certain level so all can fight and take part.

There's another really simple way to describe this problem in terms of probability issues: spawn should tend to revert to mean when there is skew. They appear to do the opposite.
Improve the drop rates from the scouts PLEASE!!! All too often im getting 0 or 28 or 38. Its ridiculous to leave ships idle in scout systems just waiting for them respawn for hours!!!
Here's an Idea. If an alliance owns a territory, they should be able to see the systems in their territory without having a ship in the system!
1 actually have feringi traders in game as I have never seen any!

4 if your clan owns a tc space. you should be able to see it instead of having to have a ship there to see it.

Here a few improvement ideas:
Improve your base:
⢠Improve the hanger: Add a ship view. Currently you need a free dockyard to inspect your ships. It would be great if the hanger would offer something similar. In the hanger it should be possible to see your ships and assign crew to test the stats.
⢠Improve the academy: Add crew templates: It should be possible to create and save crew templated in the academy. In the dockyard you can select the crew templated in the āassign officersā view. By upgrading the academy, you can store more crew templates.
Ship & Armadas:
⢠Improve the ship manage view: Show the hull health points in the manage view. Currently you show a slide without numbers only.
⢠It should be possible to attack the station of another player with an armada. This would enable a group of smaller players to attack the base a big player. The armada would start at the station of the host. All ships would fly together to the target station and attack the station together.
⢠Private Armada: Combine two or more of your ships to a group. E.g. you can add a warship to miner, to protect it during mining. Or you can combine your ships to attack a mission target or attack a station.
Alliance:
⢠Alliance administration: Add an event list, which contains the last 30 membership changes, like who join or left the alliance and who gets a new rank. This view should be visible for all players in the alliance
⢠Extend the diplomatic options. It should be possible that two alliances aligned on a diplomatic alignment. These alignments should be public visible on the alliance profile page. E.g. If alliance A and B aligned on a NAP, the members of A and B could not attack each other anymore. The NAP is shown in a diplomatic box on the public profile. The alignment needs to be approved by both alliance and could be canceled by both. Possible alignments for the beginning are: NAP and War. In the future you can extend the system.
Socializing:
⢠Improve the leaderboard: It is not possible to search for a player- or alliance name in the leaderboard. Please add this function.
⢠Add a person friend and enemy list, where each player could add other player. (similar to the block list). This list would help to follow other player, even if the players change alliance or names, but other than with the block list, you would be able to send or message from this players. A special symbol in the system view, like with a friendly or enemy alliance, is not needed.
Battlelogs:
Battlelogs are one of the key element of this game. It shows the player if the running crew setup is working or not. Unfortunately it is not easy to get all needed information. A better battle log would help us players to improve our crew setups.
Main view:
Please add two information, who was the attacker (and who was the defender). [Bonus: Was the attacked ship mining or not ?]. In case both ships were attacking each other, just mark both ships as attacker.
Log:
⢠Add an extra round (round 0) where all officers were executed, which abilities are active for the whole fight (e.g. Pikeās captain ability). This round should also show the officers which wonāt be triggered in the fight (e.g. if you use Harrison in an armada, you could see a line like āHarrison ability wonāt work in an armadaā) or officers which gives general buffs after the fight, like Goon (e.g. āGoon will increase the ship XP after the fight by x%)
⢠Officers are one of the most important parts of this game. With their ability they are affecting the ships or the officers. It would be great to see what they are doing. Example: Khan increases the critical hit chance of a ship. At the moment you get a message that āthe critical hit chance increased by x%ā. But it would be better if you would get: āthe critical hit change increase by x%; old value: y%; new value z%ā. This information should be added for each buff or debuff.
⢠As I understand the fight each round is split into 3 phases. Each of this phase should be displayed in the battlelog.
o Beginning - where officer abilities will executed
o Fight ā ships were fighting
o End ā again officer abilities and burning is executed.
⢠Beginning phase:
o Show all buffs which are active or not (e.g. burning, hull breach)
o Display the current ship state (shield, hull, moral)
⢠Fight phase:
o If a weapon fire, show which kind of weapon it is (kinetic or energy)
⢠End phase:
o Show the effect which were executed, like burning. (e.g. show how much damage a ship gets by burning.
Communication:
Everyone was happy when you released the road map last year. At the moment we see only an update when you released a new arc and to be honest, sometimes this is really frustrating. E.g. when you released the Discovery everyone was unhappy. After two additional arcs and new functionality like summon ships later, everyone is happy with this ship. You would avoid a lot of frustration if you would communicate your plans for the Discovery from the beginning.
Could you release a road map (or update the last one) more often. Or did you every thought about something like a Trello board ?
would love to see a Voyager arc similar to discovery and TOS. We could get Janeway, Seven of nine, chakotay, etc... Since we already have borg in the game this would allow then to be more included
Simple request, maybe: When doing dailies, I often have several to collect at once. Could you add a ācollect allā button at the top? Scrolling and collecting one at a time is a minor annoyance, but not a huge game breaker.
When you put a āKlingon shipā as a mission hostile, can you at least use a Klingon ship, not a saladin or orion corvette

Make the borg refinery more aligned. I can refine 1 chest for 25K but it takes 130K to refine 2 chest. Seems like that way to high seeing as you only double the rewards should cost 50K or give a 15% discount for refining more than one Chester

We read them and we pass the most valuable to the team, obviously is not that easy to implement all of them, whilst fixing existing bugs and working on new content. Get rid of the banners. Acknowledge they are horrible at the very least. They hang up, theyāre delayed by what feels like hours. They are a constant reminder about how oblivious scopley is to the player base. No one likes them at all. The take up valuable screen space and are accidentally tapped all the time. The only reason I can even come up with that you leave them is to artificially boost your numbers for time spent in game by creating a āspeed bumpā
I disagree on removing banners. I often use them to track event progress. I could do without the red and green win/lose banners though.

It works similarly to other refineries in that there is an increased cost, have you not noticed that? It's a way for them to slow us down. I do agree the 5x cost is ridiculous, though.
Wouldn't it be better if you sorted the tasks according to level or strength or that the ones you accepted first are at the top and the tasks that follow are listed and not so confused.

Make missions a bit more mentally challenging: I just "hacked the Klingon security network" just by arriving at the prescribed location - didn't have to figure out the next number in a security sequence or enter a special PIN obtained somewhere else, or flash my amulet of G-bethvah or whatever. A fix for in app notification badges. Many of us have so many red number badges they're completely meaningless. My suggestions by area.
Builder area, we only need a badge when something has finished or a build/research slot is empty.
Main bar: Ships, we only need a badge when a ship gets unlocked. Just like officers when you view it the badge should go away.
Officers, when an officer is unlocked or becomes eligible for a promotion it should be flagged as new and gets a badge. When you view the officer the badge should go away. Officers you can use transporter patterns on should not get a badge except for maybe the first time you can use them.
Factions, is pretty much fine but I think a notification about daily changes because of rep changes would be helpful to newer players.
Items is fine.
Refinery. Very inconsistent. Territory ISO refines don't get a badge and they need to. Components for territory management should not get a badge. Discovery doesn't get a badge either and it should. Very unrelated but I think refinery needs to be organized like the faction section. The worst thing about 39 is having to now scroll past g4 refines to get to g3.
I would like to see badges for things in territory/alliance store with a 24 hour or longer cooldown. Like armada chests or particles.
Make a 4/20 special event, server 34 is full of stoners and Iām sure thereās more across the multiverse of stfc. Show us a little love!

Seems many people are complaining about territories and times for takeovers and others interfering. How about a radical idea? All takeovers happen all at the same time? No more interfering from massive alliances, small guys get a chance to get on the board, got more territory, need to work harder to defend it. Choosing locations will determine the strategy. Once a takeover is complete, the next takeover time is randomly generated for 5 to 10 days out to allow takeovers on different days. This may fix lag too instead of having everyone in one system at the same time. Any thoughts?

Can we have more alliance credits? It's really hard to buy shields after. I had 3k credits and blew them in about 2 weeks buying shields. How about no more leaderboards and just milestones.
What if the ever-present yellow mission showed the next objective in the mission track you last completed instead of ALWAYS UPGRADE OPERATIONS

I would like to see more daily grind resources available at the average server level. For example, it seems much of the daily faction grinding happens in just a few systems. Those popular systems change as the average server population matures. Increasing spawn rates in the areas most used by a particular server would be a useful QOL initiative.
The solution is easy, move Scottyās warp to captain maneuver and add your faction warp guys and have their warp ability as captain maneuver, since only one captain maneuver works per ship... no stacking.

Some QoL suggestions: First, we need a button on the main screen that takes us directly to the research menu without having to go through the base or waiting until a research is finished. Second, when we tap on a certain research to see its costs and pre-reqs, itād be very help it we could also see how much Power increase it would yield. That way we wouldnāt have to keep looking it on LCARS every time weāre trying to plan around a Daily Research Event. Thx š

Why do you need to buy shields? Are you burning that many of them? I've got 60+ of each type, and 24k alliance credits. If you're online, you don't need to put up a shield.
If you finish your daylies, you get in the boxes everyday shields for 24h without costs.
I shield everyday since one year, but never paid with alliance credits for shields.

still, a 12, 8, and 4 hour shield for dailies. If you're doing that much PvP that you are constantly dropping your shields you should change your game play or put some $$$ into game for shields and resources when you need them
I think the game should do the math where ship bonuses are concerned. When I click a swarm hostile it should show me easy, normal or hard with the 1800% built in. The same for other ships with bonuses for specific hostiles.
I would like to be able to click on an alliance member's base and apply one of my shields. A shield gets spent so why not?

Today I tried something, didn't shoot anything at all. Spent nearly no time, and have 4 of my 5 daylie-boxes open.
yesterday evening, I put one ship on gas, and one ship on crystal. I am pushing two factions.
That where my first points this morning. Then I opened the the 24h box with just one click. More points.
This morning, in between and this evening I opened 3times during the day the 4h boxes. More points. Just clicks.
I finished a research and a building. Also more points
With this points I opend 4 daylie boxes. So I have already the 4h and a 8h shield.
And I have already more then 50% of the last box with the 12h shield.
Because I'm yet not in an ally, I couldn't make the ally points with the daylies.
So, now, if I shoot 10 swarms I get enough points to open the last box. Costs me with travelling time 15-20 min.
So a litle bit clicking, and a few minutes shooting, should be possible, even if you go to school, or with a job.

To be honest, I'm 28. If I would do all daylies, more as needed for the shields, all events, mine data, and shoot borg. Then I would need 3-4 hours every day. That's why I stopped to play. That's why leaved my ally.

A black market/trading option, open to all levels, or at least 15+. As a 28, I no longer need 1*, but have loads of mats and parts. I should be able to trade them to someone who needs them.
Easiest plan: make it manual. I can offer x mat/part, in y quantity. They can decide what they'll trade, whether it be rss, mats, parts, or even lat. I can reject the offer if I think my side is worth more.
Charge a system tax. No more than 2% of each side.

The ticketed events were awesome and just what we need! It was an idea i wanted to suggest myself here. In general it would be good if players can have more the choice and less tamping situations to finish all events, which is very bad since those people addicted like me cannot stop. Can we do it somehow also for daily tasks like the faction kills, swarms, etc. and have maybe more options added like isogen mining, borg kills, ...
@nocturne lantern yes. Takeovers are nothing but whalefests. They just jump between multiple shell alliances and sit on nodes with unkillable ships (because burning was taken away). Instant wins, they donāt even watch the fights and they donāt have to deal with the lag so they never complain so itāll never get fixed. Thereās nothing to stop them from just alliance jumping for every single territory fight since very few of the connected territories that any one groups can have occur fights on the same day.
They can jump to multiple other groups for fights and be back in their main group before the next fight happens. Tc is basically a dead zone just for whales to play in and dictate who gets to join them now.
More daily options will likely lead to people wanting to complete more things. Instead, dailies need to rotate

Read it more closely, i want more options but like the "Ticketed Events" i want that you have to choose and you cannot just do more, because you have more options. E.g. you have 26 options today and we make it 50, but you are only able to collect for 12 of those the rewards. If you finish more, you cannot collect it.

@nocturne lantern thereās already an entry fee, the alliance pays it to join the fight...except for the defending alliance cuz they get an automatic join. Once entrenched you aināt getting the whales out and they donāt have to pay anything to maintain it. Broken.
I can see having tickets to join a tc being a good thing tho. Alliance store for 5 iso like the particles. 1 per day would make it so battle would have to be chosen far more strategically and it would eliminate the alliance hopping

@nocturne lantern alliance hopping was changed long ago precisely because people abused things like the extra helps, thatās why we have 8 hour cool downs to rejoin now. An 8 hour cool down to join period would be a better fix to the same problem and all the new ones itās created.
For all the reasons you mentioned, we all abuse the extra helps by jumping as often as we can now.
If scopely wants to sell speedup packs they need to curb alliance hopping more. I hate to be advocating for scopely here but in this case a change for their benefit would provide some fair play benefits, albeit making things slightly tougher advancement wise.
Make the vaults actually worth something. I sit there and get raided (because my shield didnāt work) and donāt have enough rss left to repair my ship!

Bases should be able to initiate attacks against ships within a radius during territory battles. Research should allow you to expand the size of the radius and increase base firepower.
Further, base shields should be modified to function differently during takeover events, if your base is in the territories. They should stay up, act similar to ship shields, being weakened by a number of attacks by ships, until finally falling after sustaining a certain amount of damage. Research should allow you to hold your base shields for longer.
In Star Trek, especially Deep Space Nine, you see that bases are a key component to battles for control of a system. Their shields act like that of a supermassive ship or armada target. And their weapons can target and fire upon individual ships or groups of ships all at once. Allowing bases to attack, but docked ships must undock to attack, would better fit the Star Trek universe than the current base shields system.
I'm not saying do away with peace shield. Leave that as is, and just add another Base Shields that go into effect when the peace shield is down.
I would love it if you could bring back the Borg armadas it is unused space that you can't get to zoo why not make it active like hunting Borg probes you get the directives for the armadas when you hunt Borg probes.

This ships sole purpose would be a raid vessel. It has no protected cargo and no mining bonus so it is useless on mines. To not devalue faction miners give their mining rate a base 25% increase. Eg: 1000% now 1250%.
Decrease the inefficiency of multi crate purchases I.e. faction stores, etc.
Preferable create economies of scale where unit prices decrease with larger purchases rather than massively increase, but at the very least make it less inefficient
Not sure if this has been suggested but a nice feature for the Alliance Territories would be some kind of NPC sentries. Could be something to activate in an area and would attack every ship entering the system not alliance or ally. Strong enough to defeat single ships, easy to get rid of for a greater force.
Need the ability to see which players are participating in all alliance events.
Apex events, like crucible of war, only let you see the alliances total points. I need an alliance leaderboard to see who isnāt pulling their weight.
Also need the ability to DM everyone in the alliance the same message. People are not reading, or missing messages in alliance chat. Very time consuming to message everyone one by one

So I've been doing some thinking on the way the refinery and the generators work, and at current is shocking to say the least.
So I will suggest the way I see they should work, and I'm sure this has been suggested before.
So the generators should kick out a preset amount of resources equilivant to a players true level rather than the reduced levels we get. So say at lv34 trit generators will kick out 250k every 6hrs and then players click on it to collect. Lv40 generators will kick out 1mil trit every 6hrs.
So as for the refinery. It should also work the same but couple differences. 50 uncommon and 10 rare every 10hrs, but work on the basis of "as long as you have the materials available it will refinery and you collect." Basically how it is now but better payouts according to players levels

Has anyone brought up the idea of a Commodity Exchange?
(This is a bit long, but I've been thinking about this for a bit.)
Background Info
I'm a firm believer in the mindset of "let a player play how they want to play." You want to build that off meta ship with some wonky crew because you imagined it as a little kid? Go for it. However, this game isn't set up that way. One way we could improve this feeling is by introducing a Commodity Exchange. This would allow players to focus on one thing they want to accomplish at the cost of other personally less desired resources. In the words of the great 21st century philosopher Mackelmore, "One man's trash, that's another man's come up."
Theory
Since all of the Commodities in this game are arbitrarily scarce (if Scopely wanted too, they could give us all the integer limit number of whatever they want with the push of a button), that implies there is an infinite quantity available in the system (just because I have some number doesn't necessitate someone else having less.) However, there is only a finite amount of any commodity in circulation, and a demand for a very large number of each. This creates a win-win-win scenario (at least IMO) for players and Scopely alike. A win for the whales so they can get more of everything, a win for the F2P/lower spenders so they can get the things they want, and a win for Scopely because they can tax every trade to pull resources out of the system encouraging players to spend. (This last bit is going to get backlash, but people make and support this game. Those people need to get paid. Let's leave the discussion of capitalism for another time.)
How It Could Work
My thoughts are, on the surface it functions like a real life Currency Exchange Kiosk. I come to you with G3 Rare Ore, I want G3 Rare Gas, there is some predetermined rate, and the exchange happens. Since what I mentioned about is true, these resources can go to and come from the infinite resources in the system.
Under the hood however, it could work like an actual Currency Exchange Market:
- I have G3 Rare Ore, I want G3 Rare Gas
- I perform the exchange at the agreed rate.
- Scopely adds the Ore to my account and subtracts the Gas.
- Scopely then adjusts the values of each to some common commodity (Latinum?). In this case G3 Rare Gas would increase in value and G3 Rare Ore would decrease. This would be based on the net volume traded over all time.
- The taxes of each would either increase or decrease based on the net volume traded over a short time. (Say over the last 24-48 hours.
- Taxes could be collected either in pure Latinum from the players account, or from the actual exchanged resources. (I like the first option better.)
- There could be a limit on how many of each commodity could be bought at a time, and a non-adjustable cooldown on how long between trades of a certain commodity. This shouldn't be placed to limit how many a player can acquire over time, but to limit the ability for someone to manipulate the system by buying or selling an insane number of a commodity.

@ancient terrace , Franklin in Swarms, Botany Bay from Augment Space and Stella from Eclipse hostiles would work. They could also add those ships to the Saturday Cosmic Clean Up events during Battlepasses.
@cobalt bough, actually many games have currency/commodity exchanges. Forge of Empires is a good example. It could be similar to an auction house where a player puts up items that they don't need and lists what they are seeking in exchange. For example, I put up X Frequency Modulators and I'm asking Y Spore Drive Components in Exchange. The same would go for things like Blueprints, Materials, ship parts etc.

An additional status in alliance diplomacy. Like an orange exclamation mark or something. So that alliances can use it during takeovers (or whenever they want) without having the red cross from enemy.
Main problem is, that the status is often visible hours after the status got removed and that leads to much conflicts afterwards. As this bug seems to be difficult to solve (judging by how long it has not been fixed) the additional status might be an easer alternative.
FFS, do something about players just killing miners all the time, put a timer on it or something !

Also can we have a way to exchange excess Frequency modulators? With the new research it's far easier for players to max out a Franklin and have millions of Frequency modulators that serve 0 purpose.

What about the lag?
To reduce traffic there could be a building that unlocks at tier 15 (arbitrarily chosen, but seems like a good break point.) This building at level one unlocks the Exchange. At level 1 you can make 1 trade an hour.This scales to 1 trade every 5 min at 50. You could introduce a large jump between 24 and 25 to even out the progression to 1 min per level. This would also have the added benefit of encouraging people to push to 25, which is an avenue for Scopely to make some money. Also, that 5 min timer could be the refresh rate for the market. This should significantly limit the number of trades and the amount of communication between a player and a server. We already make significantly more communications to the server than this at any given time.

How does InnoGames profit off the system? (I know I'm talking about the money making aspect a lot, but I believe it's a critical part to all of this. If an idea, not matter how good, loses the company money, it won't be implemented. Also, supporting devs ensures continuity of the game, and also provides jobs.)
My suggested system works how you're describing, but doesn't require each buyer to have a seller. The seller (assuming the player is the buyer) will be the Exchange itself. This alleviates having to find someone who wants to buy your good. The only catch however, is it creates an exchange rate system governed by an algorithm. So we gain instant/guaranteed gratification for a truly free market.
If you use "docs" and put the link here, you're still gaining nothing because the rules don't allow it given the identity concerns.

Iād like a cloaked Romulan Scout ship. Key elements Iām thinking of:
- Not very strong...200k power max (offsets the fact that itās invisible).
- Fast and long range.
- Still killable if you can find it (maybe it flickers every once in a while or if you tap on it you can target). Time limit on how long it stays cloaked before returning to base is necessary?
- Attacking a ship or base would drop the cloak.
The idea would be a ship you can send into Territory or other systems that you canāt see until youāre there, without it being obvious that youāre there.

@deft arrow , how would you level such a ship at higher tiers? IF you decloak to attack a ship (to gain xp?) how long before you can clock again? Perhaps a better idea would be to take advantage of the bug where at times you can't see the level of a opposing player ship (even if you attempt to scan, it comes back as a target that's too low to attack). You would see a ship on the motion sensor (like in Balance of Terror) but couldn't lock on to attack it.
Like how you can choose to have the Diso normal warp or jump, i would think you can chose to cloak the ship or not. If Iām engaging in combat to level, I wonāt bother to cloak. I hadnāt thought about a cool down before you can recloak, but that makes sense. I do what it to be invisible in the UI...if youāre scouting a Territory you plan on challenging for, you donāt want the opposing alliance to see youāre there. If the ship is visible but canāt be targeted you essentially warn them that youāre up to something.
I've got a fix for nero and his burning problem. Make all romulan ships have a base 40% burn on hit. Walla! Burning now goes off as often as morale

This feedback splashscreen pops up at the most WORST possible times. ~~[ ie like now when i'm using bluestacks and the physical keyboard isn't being detected š - ~~yes thats my issue ]
The player has a choice; try and get on with their game where it last crashed.... or fill in a survey. Once the survey browser session gets closed its gone, i've tried asking CS to regenerate the link.
It's cumbersome to do on a tablet/mobile, some of us prefer using pc/mac for web browsing.

@deft arrow , my idea though is that even if you scan the ship, you can't see it's level, power, player or alliance name. You know that someone is out there but not who and you have no way to tell unless they decloak. Obviously if a fleet shows up on your doorstep you might deduce who the unknown was allied to but even that wouldn't be certain.
Oh...I like that. So you can find it...you can attack it...but you have no idea what risk youāre taking when you do.

Again, use the events at the beginning of Balance of Terror as an Example. 4 outposts destroyed before the Enterprise got a glimpse of the Romulan ship. When cloaked it could be spotted on the motion detection sensors but not locked on to.
or a discovery level power ship that costs what a epic 4* ship costs to upgrade with a warp range of a fortunate

I have a suggestion and it was born from the need to locate players of a certain alliance and you cannot find them because in the discord configuration for these channels it does not offer a way to relate it, but it is up to each person to place it or not.
It would be interesting if it were somehow mandatory to relate the name of your alliance before enjoying the benefits of these communication channels.
I appreciate the attention provided and that you have a happy and blessed afternoon.
That would be really difficult to maintain. We have a lot of players on our server who jump between alliances. Our server-specific Discord has tags for all of the major alliances, and we're constantly having to adjust roles. I can't imagine Scopely having to do that on this large of a scale.
I would like to be able to search for an alliance or player. Just to find their details, not their base.
Our server has a lot of alliances, most of which are outside the top 100. It becomes impossible for admirals/commodores to find and communicate with these alliances or players.
I would also like to see a pvp event for realtas. Such an event would be a test of a players crew knowledge and would be a much more level playing field than other pvp events.
and there would be many of the same alliance tags across the numerous servers so even then would be hard to tell.
alliance search is already suggested at google docs actually suggested hundrets times past 3 years.
Romulan and Klingon ships cannot attack while cloaked, very canon to ST universe - yes, there were some experimental craft, but same with Fed cloaking. The balance could be it takes 5-10 seconds to decloak before attacking.

I'd like to see older officers get a rework to make them more useful. Many had decent skills but are no longer being used.
1 of 10 as an example was the 3rd character to have protected cargo ability but with changes over the year his modest boost isn't up to his rare status.
Change his ability slightly to start with 30% and at each tier increase have it jump by 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% ending at 100%
Still not infringing on Tpring or the new officer but far more useful.
Conversely keep his percentages but change it to total cargo capacity so he's more like Stonn
I like that idea, heck, why not as a percent to both total cargo and protected cargo but keep the same percentages
I'd also suggest moving the borg officers to another recruit area like we have for TOS, Rogue, Discovery, etc. That way we can focus in on the offers we really want to try for.
Give us special recruit tokens with our borg refine (don't take away the overall reward totals though?)
I like them in the ultra gives hope of a lucky pull

If I get a chance, I'll look through and see which suggestions we've already forwarded. Mods and CCs do send quite a few of them to the team.
It used to be possible to make a channel that folks can post to, but not see other posts. Not anonymous to the devs/mods, but not as "freely open", too.
There is a bot that will allow a specific suggestions channel and does have an anonymous feature. On discord, it's not as much of a concern because it would just show your discord name on the suggestion, but making them anonymous does help to reduce bias (e.g. people who just don't like you voting it down).
on the officers idea, I'd love to see it where we could "evolve", or keep upgrading, green officers such that they eventually became more useful. Outside of Chen and T'Laan, I only use rare/epic officers both above and below decks...
Can we get more build/research speedups from dailies. I'm triple locked and have over 25k 30-min repair speedups. That's more than I need, but I'm out of the other type.
On server 129: in light of the earthquakes and taunami warnings in New Zealand some of the admirals of the big alliances (iām not an admiral btw) are proposing a voluntary 24hr ceasefire to avoid Kiwis getting targeted when they canāt play due to, you know, the whole coping with a natural disaster. Do you think scopely can come to the party please and institute it server wide officially a la post update

Since the recent addition of the 2nd building queue it would be nice to have a 2nd research queue and the ability to repair more than one ship at a time
Did a bit of searching here, and it's probably been suggested before--but it would be SO helpful if Alliance members could request/trade resources with each other (within limits).
NPC marketplace is much better suited to this game really.
Suggestions though:
- station details page. Similar to the ship details, but for the station.
- option to switch ship details between base, hostiles, players, Armadas, etc so that we can have useful stat information.
- make base stat information easier to find generally.
- additional colour coding of removed and repaired/regenerated health figures in battle reports.
Would be nice to have instead of Ops attack barriers, having ship lvl barriers so as example a lvl 21 sitting on a zero node i cant kill with an Enterprise BUT can with a kehra or kumari. Or a lvl 46 cant attack a lvl 35 with pillum but he can with an Augur.
@woeful raft I just read your pdf and i think there's interressant ideas. May I suggest 1 more (i already suggest here) : there's today a lot of players who jump between alliances to accelerate their constructions / research as when you go higher in level it takes more and more time. My suggestion is, as for QJ they reset them each day, reset Alliance Help each day at the same time. By this way, players could have help and accelerations each day without jumping between alliances.
It will help all alliances i think if you could accelkerate regularly constructions and research

Another point for territories : today there's 53 territories (if i don't make a mistake). today (in my server), you have big alliances who have 5 territories (4 alliances), mid alliances who have 2 or 3 territories, low alliances who have only 1 territories, and very low alliances who don't have territories. If you augment territories numbers (for example 53 to 100 territories), i think that we'll see mid-alliances that will up to 5 territories and low alliances that will up to 2 or 3 territories. But very low alliances will still not have access to territories. For me, if they want every alliances to have access to territories, there's 2 solutions : augment with a big number territories (200 ,) or limit number of territories that an alliance could have (down to 3 ?)

the help mechanic needs to change, if you leave an alliance all the help should be forfeit and you go back to original time less time since started, eg. if you had a 24 hour build and it has been sped up to 23 hours and you're 8 hours into the build so you're down to 15 hours once you leave the alliance it goes up to 16 hours.
I would rather want avoiding alliance jumps as they many times broke alb points and jumper dont get rewards
So just refreshing alliance helps would speed up enough building.
Besides listening to the community, increase the dvor protected cargo. The amount of latinum you have to mine for a refine added to the fact that you go like 2 opc before getting attacked is ridiculous

The obvious solution to the Alliance helps issue would be to just lock them in like alliance events. You were in an alliance that had up to 15 helps and you received 13 of them, you change Alliance and that 13/15 is now locked in and cannot be changed until you start your next build.
Simpler than keeping track of up to 100 individual times for every player to revert just in case they change alliance.
I would think thats coding issue...just make cooldown on joining ANY alliance after leaving previous one to 24 hours and you solved not only alliance helps but TO mercenaries

since day is too little time and month too long imo.
1 week makes joingn an alliance a bit more sirious as you cant join another during that week.

For researches that are 30+ days, alliance hopping is reasonable tbh
And there is a trade off, anyone who jumps alliances can't participate in that alliance's events. With CoW about to start, that's a good time to NOT jump
The hardest thing is missing HARRISON unlock and Scopely having brackets of 18 and then 12 shards. This event cost a lot to compete. I spend a crazy amount of ressources to fall short at the last minute and missed out by 5 shards. Thank you scopely. Have more attainable brackets and more reasonable and achievable events on shards.
It would help if they stop grouping minnows with whales. I got grouped with all the ops 35+, and I'm 28. I had our ops 50 player in my bracket for Harrison
In my eyes hopping for helps devalues alliances. Our GC is filled in 80-90% with "looking for invites for helps" and only 1 alliance strictly does not send invites nor gives their players permission to leave for helps. I have not done it, will not do it and am hoping scopely stops this help tourism. Just sickens me to see when your 45+ players in order to progress need to pay 1000+, deal with 200+ days of builds and research, donate a bunch of lat so your alliance jumps from 16 to 17 and 17 to 18 helps and then people jumping so their 20 day research can be cut down to 1 day.
But hey, 1 man opinion, I am sure a lot of people dont agree with meš
Give a lot more advanced notice when 3 day alliance events are about to start. Joined another alliance to help out with a take over and am now stuck there for 3 days
@nocturne lantern the thing is, if someone were to progress through the game with no speedups, alliance help, $$$, etc., at all, it would take decades to get to level 50. Allowing some ability to make reasonable tradeoffs when considering alliance helps, it's not a bad thing.
It also encourages alliances to work together and form good relationships

For conversation - I've played persistent online multiplayer games with team aspects for over 20 years now. This is the very first one where any conversation about locking players from changing teams has ever been discussed seriously.
I understand that there is a lot of frustration with the implementation of Territory Control, but stating to make the game environment more hostile instead of fixing Territory Controls numerous and obvious issues is confusing to me.
The heart of the issue is that players are easily able to manipulate the board by changing teams. It seems like investigating other avenues inside the game mechanics to mitigate this gameplay style would be more pro-player across the board than punative measures. The easiest example is to have takeovers happen at the same time - if you have 3+ takeovers happening on the board at once, then players can't just jump from team to team to lock out the board. They are going to have to chose.
the existing punative measures to changing teams already make it where if my current team disbands I'd seriously consider quiting the game than to find a new home. If those penalties were amped up further, honestly I'm more likely to start deciding if I need to be more proactive, and encouraging my friends to find a new place to play together.
Anti-consumer, anti-player tactics are always a boon of bad things to come.
and most games have a 24 hour cooldown on joiuning before they can access alliance/guild stuff, so this isn't something new
though i do agree they need to fix mechanincs first would be much better plan

Pls remove lat from the option to repair our ships. No one uses lat to repair and it causes more unintended lat repairs than intended.
For today's ISS Jellyfish Pursuit, it says we can earn points for spending rare and epic armada directives. However, it doesn't specify if that is only regular directives or if exchange directives also count for the event.
Does anyone know if we can use exchange directives for this event?
Scopely could help us understand this better by simply adding a few words to the event description. By adding "exchange and regular" prior to the word armadas in the description, or after armadas add, "excluding exchange armadas" if they are not included.
This seems like a very simple fix that would go a long way to reducing player confusion regarding which armadas are eligible for the event in question.

Heres an idea merge servers, all player in the server wont fill the top ten alliances.
The ability to select which notifications you want to receive, versus an all or nothing approach.
I want to be notified my shield is expiring, or if I have been attacked. I do not want to be notified that my alliance is starting an armada at 3am, or that an event has started (even though it actually started 5 hours ago).
Just add a confirmation popup for any lat purchases. Also, a confirmation button for those ridiculous Commendation Ranks in the faction store...
Iām saying this again, since shields clearly only work %30 of the time, increase vault capacity. I canāt function after losing all my precious tritanium because you effed up! At least give us enough for a ship repair!

How about flexible times? The host can choose between 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes.

@worldly copper Armadas arenāt broken. The 15 minute timer is on purpose, so you CAN be hit. The original idea was they are supposed to be defended. A little PvP action can be fun. They werenāt meant to be a boring farm for currency to buy stuff.

Ah yes same for me. I have a hydra set while at ops 39. I think from ops 39 (or shipyard 39) you can see the additional ships in the ships menu too. But that wonāt help you. In any case Iām sure it will be fine!

Here is a idea... dont assume new level 34 players has already got high end level 32/34 ships... many still on 28s and are getting events that are impossble to do.
Feel the previous thread about spawn skew needs to be bumped on seeing the updated Doomsday hostile systems, as the hostile populations are tiny, which only compounds the problem of not getting the hostiles you need.
More specifically: the SMS/SLB event limits me to three systems, only one generates hostiles of a reasonable size for me, there are two hostiles in that system, and both go against me in the battle triangle. Given that this is an SLB event, the hostile population size is going to be a problem, on top of which people are going to be sitting around waiting for what they need, only either to watch someone else get it because of location or speed or to have someone else's grind skew the system further against them.

what a flop of an event, if i go to the highest level system and hit the highest level worm, with only my worst officer as cap and no one else on the ship. i can still only score a few thousand points. how many hours do you guys expect people to play this game for every day?

I wanted to recommend again a Scopely youtube channel so we can all at least laugh at you guyās plotting these hold my beer moments with events and ARCs. It might cut down on the resentment each one brings. Will also show a sense of humour instead of just assumed incompetence.

How about giving the option to turn off the banners. They lag so bad that for like 10 minutes after my dailies I canāt get to the refinery because they keep popping up and I get battle reports.
What if we had a feature where we could trade items with other players, such as relocation tokens for other items?
To make sure that feature is not abused, we could perhaps limit trades to being within an alliance, or within an armada.

Actually he said something in the middle. And while a skin provides a marginal PvE bonus, it helps you with your grind and does not constitute. It is also obtainable for free, and some of the primes that have the exact same function. Complaints about that too? How is scopely paying for their servers then? OP is just pissed he doesnāt get immediate access to some idiotic vanity cosmetic (which just as easily could have been a prime research).
That said, also heavily depends on server maturity. I and many others on my server have at least one epic ship without having spent a dime on/for it. If heās so concerned with what stuff looks like he could get a museum pass. Oh no wait that costs money. Visit a government subsidised museum.
Oh and perhaps the dude can just chill. More of these will come. So players that are likely to have spent get earlier access? Boohoo. Scopely is a company-for-profit not a charity

You all are not paying attention to my main point. I don't even care about the pve bonus. Yes it's just cosmetic. But wat about the players below 34. Like 26. That are just getting the faction ships. Would be nice to offer at least a variant. Or even a color change. Instead of seeing the same ships over and over. Give everything a makeover. That way the lower level players have something to do too, instead of a slap in the face basically saying, "better hurry and get up to that lvl, so you can have it.". I understand it's something to strive for. But they need a lil something too.

I have a suggestion. The devs should setup a site that lists every mission in the game. Where to find them. What's needed to complete them and so on. They should also setup a search bar on the site as well as there are way too many missions to look through to find the ones you're looki g for.
1- change Sporemada rewards to Discovery Refinery Tokens
2- change doomada rewards to doom recruit claws
3- change doom hostile rewards to drop chests that may or may not have doom directives or a materials we can trade for directives in a store with a cooldown
4- change borgmada rewards to borg refits for all your ships (thematically, this is us stealing borg technology)
5- add an offering to all faction stores to trade Frequency Modulators for faction recruit tickets
6- change territory armada reward to iso emulsion

Look at Star Trek Online and possibly Bungie's Destiny methods on microtransactions, they may be onto something by leaving it more to cosmetics than progression, letting players get to the highest levels possible but restricting a lot of the more iconic ships and flavor skin behind a paywall.
With players on a more equal footing it may give more life to playing the game and reduce player burnout instead of tossing a lot at a wall hoping it'll stick every month. Perhaps turning the game from a simple base building mobile game into something more akin to an mmo, maybe even releasing a version on the PC via Steam with shared accounts so one can play at home and on the go, I think could be interesting to see.
Also a mission list for completed missions and storylines would be handy as it's somewhat confusing when thirty or so have been archived and you want to follow them chronologically.

With the game running on over a decade and actually having the voice actors from the series and stuff. Though the point is that Cryptic is doing something right with their product that Scopely may at least want to look into to keep their own product not only fun but even more profitable. Seriously, instead of putting ships locked behind events most players can't afford to join they'll buy them outright if offered and if the game is not only more fun but more equally competitive.
Both doing things great. Stfc is also a great mmorpg with lots of content. But itās corrupted by too much paid content. And itās too p2w. You run into too many extremes with 1 player able to dominate whole server. Iām not sure whatās the business model of scopely. Casino games or actual games with focus on gameplay and connecting Star Trek enthusiasts
Would be nice in an armada, as the leader, to be able to launch the armada when ready.
Would be nice in an armada as the leader to be able to NOT allow certain ships. I like being able to ensure certain people get in, but there should also be a way to keep people from participating as well.
Ex: current ticket armada event. Trying to get a low level player the damage points they need to complete the SMS. But, when bigger ships come and forget to check chat, it makes it harder for the low player. It would be nice to specifically exclude the bigger ships in this example.
Please allow us to buy Premium Recruit Tokens with Transporter Patterns. There is no other place to purchase them in game and it seems like a logical spot to put them
Please please please give Admirals and Commodores the ability to mark individual players as enemies so we can more effectively deal with griefing trolls.
Please consider updating the Game to allow Trade between Alliance Teammates (after all the Game is already set up to allow trading, Mining Ships can also double as Trading Ships), the system can even allow other Alliances to attack the Miners/Trading Ships on route from our Station to our Teammate's Station?
It is nice to add a way for people to get the stella and missions but you have disadvantaged those who bought the stella with cash. Now I know I do not need to spend cash because you will eventually give me a much better deal for free! I got scopleyed again!!

Something that always bothers me: you cant deselect an officer that is not assigned to the current ship by clicking on it again. Meaning if i click on any officer at the bottom, i canāt simply switch two officers that are already on my ship without either putting said selected officer on the ship of leaving the assign officer menu all together. Which is a little frustrating from time to time.

add to chests and stores a place to put the number of the item you want to buy rather than 3 buttons each have specific number like how currently all ships BPs need over 50 clicks to get them and how Kirk Fragments are either 1 or 50 or 100 when a person need less than 50 but close to it (ex. 48-45 frags)
Territory capture was really fun at first but now it has become stagnant. Maybe every 4 months or so it will drop all territories and everyone has to recapture but no one can take the one they had previously. I know some people will hate this but honestly, on server 12 they haven't changed in like 2 months and it's kinda boring

Sometimes i see reds shooting at reds from one end of the system to the other. It looks like a bug, but actually it would be COOL if you put some more life into each system - it would be great if i as a player have the feeling i am part of some happening/story and not just pop into follow some stupid routines.
- Shows us conflicts between reds : e.g. Klingon invaders showing up on Romulan space, which provokes them to fight each other.
- Make some true NPC players warping in, performing some activities and warping out after some time.
- Let there be some traders moving from starbases to starbases in other systems, they can be from different races.
- Make the spawn of faction hunters dependent on your reputation level versus level of the system e.g. with RESPECTED you are "safe" until 39.
- Faction hunters should always spawn as soon as you hit any faction ship off theirs. Why not? They are the "security" and if you start hitting them, they come after you
Most important, fights between reds should not be like players. Reds can shoot each other and cause some damage - maybe the fight takes 10 minutes and you can go in-between anytime.
Do server wide events where e.g. doomsday worms starting to show up in any system and attacking everyones miners, if the "threat" is not pushed back hard enough in the event systems.

I always thought it was weird that Fed scouts are in Fed systems where there are dozens of other Fed ships, what are they scouting? Shouldn't they be scouting in Rom or Klingon space? I think you're ideas could bring some needed variety to the game.

All the possibilities... you can have a fleet entering the system blowing up all hostiles. If you are enemy towards them they might make a suddenly turn even against you. Lets say the scouts are just a warning, if you do not kill those then you encounter a bigger threat. A little bit AI-Logic behind not the Zombi-Ship style. Maybe a fleet with different setups of ships dong different jobs. Maybe the entire fleet as the job the protect one specific miner to arrive at its target

Its your armada credits, you should get to decide more who can be involved or not.

You charge $.99 because, in theory, someone somewhere in the purchasing decision has to agree with the filter being turned off. Maybe throw in a Premium Recruit or 10 Standard Recruits for good measure. Just a thought.
you did, and I forgot in my response... but what if no one else wants it, so now no one gets it? what happens week 2 after the reset, could the alliance then go for? or only if another alliance held it? what's to keep the alliance who held it during reset to not just create a shell alliance - which so many people complain about - to then switch between it and their original alliance, now they have incentive to have multiple alliances and control more than the typical 5 TCs.

I'm not saying it's not a problem now, but with the "an alliance can't get what it had before" may increase it, increase the shell alliances, or increase the likeliness that the top 5-10 alliances making arrangements to who gets what spreads.

OK, hear me out. Territory Bounty Hunters. Each week, a territory owner can hire "Bounty Hunters" of a certain power to patrol their entire TC space, that's designed to target non-alliance members that enter the territory (except, of course, during takeovers).
And to incentivize trying to fight these bounty hunters... maybe instead of Trit/Steel/Dilly, they can drop 1x of the territory particle of the system their in as loot?
Please implement paid server transfers with some limitations (e.g. no transfers to new servers etc...), as some servers are really in a bad condition so having a paid option to move would revive some servers and well in the end help grow community and also earn you $$$.
Allow us to lead a number of armadas equal to the number of drydocks in our station. If I find an armada, and have a ship I'm not using for something else, I should be able to launch that armada.

I'd like to suggest cloaking devices exclusive to Romulan and Klingon factions as a future refit. Ship can't be seen while cloaked, cloak in effect until ship starts combat, give a first round bonus similar to what the B'rel currently gets.
Would go a long way to offsetting advantage to Feds from having so many more officers and now TOS officers tied to core faction mechanic.
admiral and commodores should be able to send player ships mining in territory home if they go zero. We should not need to have to call in other allianceās players to kill our own members off.

How about sorting the territory balance out: only alliance's actually in the territory takeover should be allowed to fight, and alliance hoping should be 24hrs cooldown. Currently we have laggy event because everyone has to get their allies to help, its taking all the fun out of territory capture.

Alliance visits are a huge assets to alliance peace-making, and people have put months of effort into relationships for diplo to get support in TC.
Get rid of the stupid hot systems that highlight whenever there's "A lot of activity." It makes raids really stupid because there are just people who jump in to take them
If officers are assigned to a ship that is deployed, they should have the ability to be shuffled around without having to bring the ship all the way back to base. All the warping just to get home to toggle around a couple of officers that are already on the ship is tedious.

How about a cancel button for purchases? In the collect screen for example. If you cancel the purchase then the button greys out for 48 hours, and you can't do it for stuff that rolls right like refinery or shards.

How about the ability to re-refine an ore/crystal/gas for the chance to get higher quality. Say make a research option for expert refining allowing you to refine previously refined materials to an even higher grade.

This game is serious not fit for mass pvp, you can have ships vastly faster than your opponent, and instead of attacking when you catch up to them, you fly right past them towards thier destination.
That should never happen and is not a lag related thing, the game should recognise your close enough to fight regardless of the target moving.
You should be able to repair multiple ships at one time
Can we get more transponders epics like Lorca Georgru TOS Kirk Harrison its extremely hard to get shards for these officers and lorca it is impossible as he is in none of the recruitments

So commanders, what would you think of 20$ ship and 99$ tier 1-100 for that ship ? I know that there is no tier above 15 today.
