Suggestions - put a 10 hit limit on the number of times one player can attack your base. Then make that player wait 30 minutes before that player can attack the same base again.

Territories suck because of the wallet warriors (1 alliance) dictating who get what by interferring. To make it better the takeovers need to be changed so that Only alliances that are participating in takeover are able to engage in battle. Lock out observers from being able to sit on nodes and engaging in battle. This will.make the game much more fun and interesting. A lot of people are losing interest because scopely refuses to deal with the "whale" issue as they are afraid of hurting thier profits. Well if everyone else ends up quitting the game because of the whales then they lose more and the game will die

But you recover or you learn to do extra shielding etc etc. All in all don’t punish other players cos you don’t want to have to remember to shield, or can’t be bothered to build up again.

@nocturne lantern I wouldn't have a problem with it if the notification was within 5 minutes of the first attack. Instead it comes 30 attacks later if it come at all. So now your punishing the base owner for having other things to do. Again this was just a suggestion. It wasn't supposed to be a debate on how to play the game.

The real problem with raiding is it counts on the player being offline. In other words, the only time you can raid someone is when they aren’t playing. Which is really weird if you think about it. The most damage to you happens when you aren’t playing the game.

Yup. You are always playing whether you like it or not. You should be able to log out and disappear from the game then reappear when you log back in. Whether it is an hour or more than a month.

I’ve got so many shields and even more alliance credits I could not play the game for about 6 months all I had to do would be login once every 7 days for under 30 seconds

Mining ships that are not OPC and mining a non zero node should be protected from attacks. We have an entire alliance that’s throwing a tantrum because they lost a take over and is killing everything. It’s ruining the game no one can do any events it’s just pointless and people are talking about quitting...

Something has to change with these take overs. The time between them is to short. Zero time to recoupe from the last one before starting the next one.
The alliance member swaping has to stop as well, whales switch to smaller alliances to help take systems. <@&509691205798592532>

Suggestion,,,, in other RPGs there is team battle log and war info. So you know if anyone in group is being attacked at anytime. This would be fun, would cause more help from team and create interesting raids and battles. Would cause team work and building

Ok, it happened to us so now its a problem, takeover should be for all territories at the same time. That way, if you going to takeover a territory, you will need to defend the ones you current hold.

For Territories - it might make sense to only allow ships that are actively trying to takeover to target ships in the sector. This would prevent 3rd parties from interfering with the event.

So we now have this diplomacy aspect to this game. Can we extend this game dynamic to include an allied alliance channel? It would be nice to have better communication with our allies by being able to talk with the group in a single chat channel. He could either be an automatic thing, which might be a little more difficult, or create a channel that each alliance has a moderator on it and can send invites to either individuals or an alliance as the whole

Arc includes Armadas, Latinum Mining, and PVP.
New Officers for mining, base raiding and armadas, and pvp
New Battleship (The Defiant), weak hull but very fast warp and massive critical hit damage.
Dax can increase impulse speed, and pvp officers can defend against both kinetic weapons and Morale boosts
Mining Officers increase rates of latinum rewards and protected cargo of the D'Vor
Sabotage Officers increase damage versus Defense Platforms of Stations and Armadas

The Defiant
A fast experimental battleship designed for conflict in disputed territories, The Defiant has a fast warp speed
with weapons that deal incredibly powerful critical hit damage. It has a quick impulse speed that with the right
officers can take on the fastest interceptors. The experimental design unfortunately means the hull is rather

I like the Defiant and want a Defiant but what I’m hoping for when they do a DS9 arc is an actual DS9 as a second base that can be used to help with mining, hostile hunting or whatever grinding for dailies and missions.
Other thing I would like is if they do a Lower decks arc make the Cerritos able to replay old missions that way we can get more blueprints for early ships unavailable to the higher level players like the jellyfish.

I like this as if your busy for a couple of days you can still complete it. But if you’ve done it all. The rest of the 4 days of events are useless. How about once you max out battle pass points. Those events now give you rewards? It would incentivise people to try and get it done as soon as possible, with the knock on effect that some more might be inclined to buy the pass for the elite rewards. Everyone benefits. And you don’t have 4 days or so of useless events that don’t count towards anything.

A repair bay might be a better option than another dock. Ships go into the repair bay, which can handle an additional damaged ship every 10th level, so you get one and then another at level 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50. Ships go into the repair bay unless the bay is full, when they sit on the dock. The crew remains on the dock so you can place another ship there and it's crewed immediately. The downside is that you can only repair one ship at a time, but it does free up your docks.

Alternatively each dock could have it's own repair bay which means you could fly one ship while repairing the other.

Defiant is not a battleship. It’s an Intercepter, relatively small in size, packing a very powerful punch, designed for agility and taking on bigger slower ships. I believe in the series it’s only described as starfleets first purpose built warship, no type mentioned.

Hi, would it be possible to a) be able to see into territory you own or provide a way to send a ship to an armada in dark space that has been called and b) share resource nodes with friendly alliances to enable a full spectrum of particles to be gathered for alliances other than the big 3 as there are only 3 places where its possible to get territories with access to all 3 types currently.

Jumping to another alliance to help them do a takeover needs to be fixed. If your involved in a takeover you should be locked to that alliance for 48hrs. I understand what people say about allies but when you have an alliance of 40 ppl mostly alts take a zone because the two biggest alliances kill off anyone else isn't right. Takeovers do need to be fixed from ppl alliance jumping and 6 to 7 alliances showing up against 1 or 2.

It seems like a good idea to allow alliances to mix and mingle. There is always going to be the “big guys” and the rest. It may give newer players a chance to interact with the older goats! Besides, there is already an 8hr cool down between alliances

Better idea would to put level restrictions back into territories. This would force alliances to balance their player levels or loose a system to an alliance of all 20 somethings. The game has been moving in a direction where power consolidation is rewarded. Devs need to think of ways to bring balance back and stop rewarding alliances that stack the decks with all big players. Other option might be to give a crew that has a reverse scaling making it stronger for small players and increasing their chance of defeating a much bigger ship in take over zones.

Suggestion to solve the misrelation of loot with Eclipse-Armadas:
Currently you get around 3000-3500 rare loot when you win a rare Lvl 35 eclipse-armada plus the starter a few epic guidlines. At the same time an epic 35 armada gives appr. 6k epic loot plus another 14k epic loot for the starter. This keeps players a very long time on Tier-6, once they manage that they usually jump right to Tier-8.
Why don‘t you include also some rare loot in the starter-bonus for the rare-armadas?

Allow officer synergies across an ENTIRE faction rather than subgroups of factions. E.g. Kirk's crew can synergise with Section 31. You already allow all Augment, all Mudd, all Borg and all Disco crew's to synergise. This will open up strategic options with officers a little bit more rather than limiting the current meta setups

Adjustable pack sizes. It could be used in every shop: for example instead 1-5-10 in faction shop for blueprints you could adjust it to any number or in real money shop for example if you need less/more than 45 bps for franklin you could adjust the pack size and the price would decrease/increase accordingly.

my Ideas that could greatly improve the gameplay and make players play this game longer:

  1. a (ferengi or not) trade ship that makes it possible to trade common, uncommon and rare materials between players. these ships can also get raider. and maybe some PVE locations to gain raw materials. to keep it grindy the unloading will take time. also officers of (ferengi or not) whichs comes to number 2
  2. ferengi or not (hint hint) officers that boost cargo / unload time / or let you escape a fight (like vermit but then no fight at all ).
  3. make donating to the alliance lvl easier. now i click myself to death to donate 100 mill parasteel ect...
  4. Swarm armadas. that have FM's as reward. also if u got a full tiered franklin cant u make a refinery for that like Borg ? but then with materials.
  5. add special materials such as franklin/vidar/stella/discovery/feringi miner parts to the rare/epic rewards. so that the long grinding for archives gives better rewards.
  6. give uncommon armadas blueprints for tier 1 and 2 faction ships. tier1: 1/ 5/10/25/100 BP's. tier 2 :1/5/10 BP's. the uncommons are purely done to get rare archives cause the rest is rather rubbish.
  7. STOP editing new grinds in the new arc. we already have to much to grind for. i cant keep it up anymore. (whales go away). I rather see improvement in the
    1 of 2 messages.

2. Augment ships... give the tier 1 faction ships other passives. like station bonus damages or reduced damage.
tier 2 / 3 / 4 ships ? also with other passives that have station bonusses. or pvp bonusses or steal some ability from a officer :P.
8. BLACK MARKET !!! you dont do this i know but i will add it. get that done. i want to get uc materials / ship parts from that market place. every game got that stellaris got it from the begin and does it with these trade ships i said as first. let us pay with latinum for all i care.
9. Improve refinery rates. the amounts get way to high for the amounts we get. i get u need money from us, but this aint grinding anymore

first off we shouldnt be allowing teams to even enter the contested sector without paying the fee to takeover, if thier not actually takeing it over, dont let them eneter, this solves a few problems, it mitigates/reduces the big aklliances forcing thier will on other alliances. and secondly, my favorite part.... brings lag to a manageable level,

You need to make old contents less grindy. The game is constantly growing and people are getting frustrated trying to commit large amounts of time grinding everything. But a better solution than trivialize new content is to take out some of the grind from old content. For example Franklin daily doesn't need to still be kill 50 swarm. Cut it down to 25 or such. Cut borg kills required for refines by half. Again this refine is time locked so needing fewer nanoprobes per refine won't give people maxed vidar tomorrow it will just lower the amount of time spent hunting probes

When you self destruct by Warp Core Breach, your ship is completely damaged but goes out with an explosion which damages the ships in the vicinity?

For example:
Warp Core Breach can work similar to armadas,

WCB triggers an armada where the WCB ship is the target, and all the ships in the zone are part of the armada
The WCB armada has a 3 second timer which is to let the players escape if they can

All ships in the WCB armada are engaged in a battle with the ship but all ships do only 1% of the damage that they initially did, hence making the battle longer and making sure all ships get nearly equally damaged

I suggest the ability to change out captain from your current bridge crew while away from your station. Examples for mining, change your gas miner to a crystal miner while in the system you are mining instead of having to go all the way back to your station. This would work well in battle to if you are needing different Capt abilities for different enemies.

Can I make suggestion that territory takeovers only be limited to the alliance who is defending and those alliance who have paid to take part in the take over.
If a smaller alliance needs help the they can always recruit players from other alliances.
This would mean that all sides participating would have similar numbers and the best team would win. It would also stop systems getting swamped with players and the issues this brings with lag etc

My alliance has been at war with another for the past couple of days and now we are settling it. But while the matter is not settled, some in my team think we should set them as neutral and warn to look out for them while others think we should still mark them as enemies and warn not to engage. It would be useful to have another diplomatic status that could say we distrust another alliance but we are not at war with them.

Another issue we have is that our admiral cannot handle all there is and has delegated tasks among us. It would be useful to have him appoint a diplomatic aide that could be seen on the alliance public status besides the admiral himself (or may replacing him, the admiral is still visible on the rooster)

It would be better if scoply allowed alliances participating in takeover to formally add their ally who come to their support in the event somewhere. This way only those who have paid for the event can invite and those of each party can be automatically shown as friend or foe. Any un invited party can be shown as uninvited. This way there is less confusion and we know who is attacking who.
This feature will be very valuable in highly contested TC. Since it is paid event, it would be even better if it was made closed event for those alliance who paid/invited only.

I would like to make some suggestions that will add some level of strategy to to TC.

For defense:

  1. Being able to build defense turrets and patrols to target anyone that enters your space.
  2. Local bubble buffs with limited range for (shield, damage, ect.) for the territory that takes effect during defense.
  3. Tactical weapons like sub-space bombs, nebulas that disable shields, scanner disruption that causes you to be unable to see enemies temporarily.

For offense:

  1. Transwarp conduits for instant travel to reach the system.
  2. Node explosives that blow up after 30 seconds that take out any ships still on the node.
  3. Repair ship cooldown hacks, causing defenders to not be able to repair for 30-60seconds.
  4. Navigation/engine disruptions causes your ships to stop moving or move randomly...

I actually have no idea, if it was already mentioned, but I would like to address an issue considerung the usability in the app when setting up a ship's crew.

Very often I have the usecase, that the ship's purpose (PvP, speedy crew, armada, etc.) completely changes. Then I have to go into the ship's menu and select eveeeeeeeeeeryyyyyyyyyyyy single crew member through a terrible long and slow scrollbar at the bottom of the display.

First thing, that drives me crazy: The scrollbar jumps to position 1 after an officer was assigned to the ship!

Second thing: The officers are not constantly sorted in that list, at least I couldn't identify a pattern.

Third thing - and finally the suggestion: Working with crew setups, that you can name und save for a later re-use. At best I could save the current setup of assigned officers on the ship to a crew configuration. And later, when I want to change my crew I just pick one of the previously saved configurations, which I assign to the ship now.

So, for territory capture, I think you can fix a lot of the lag issues if you had 3 territories up for grabs at once. This would prevent the entire server from teaming up and bogging down a single system and would require some of the mega alliances to divide resources thereby making TC events more competitive. Idea: allow me to toggle which things I want a notification icon (small red number) for. I. E. I don't care about all 30p fortunates I can build but if I have a Stella waiting I want a reminder for that. I would like to see the Augment and Rogue factions expanded. For example, rogue ships could be smaller but faster, more difficult for regular faction ships to catch (maybe only interceptors can catch them). Augment ships should be buffed in firepower to reflect Khan's genious, but same shield and hull as their counter parts (also helps since 1 BPS per day and 1 level later.) Also add 2nd faction ships to the Augments. You have a great base with Khan you can build upon.

Also expand the Alliance Territory concept to allow trading of BPS and other items between alliance members. We accumulate hundreds and thousands of lower level ship BPS that we will never use. trading them to other alliance members helps to put them to use.

Why not make it so only alliances with skin in the game can enter a takeover area.... There is entirely too much lag with seven and eight alliances on one side fighting one that you can't even see or move or play the game effectively if your server can't handle that kind of traffic you should restrict the amount of participants in the area that is disputed to only alliances participating in the takeover

Territory as it is structured is broken. The top 3 or 4 alliances will be the only participants, once they place all their feeder alliances. There is an easy programming fix. Give ships a 10,000 percent boost to weapons, shields (or both) if they are in an alliance participating in the takeover. Leave non-participants where they are. That would eliminate the unfair advantage small feeder alliances have when they can call in big brother to knock over other similar size alliances.

I think even Scopely understands that the pvp aspect of this game is broken and not fun for most. But they also painted themselves into a corner, as no server has enough players to support pvp brackets which are actually fair (i.e., within one or two levels, not friggin' fifteen plus). So how about going about it differently? Implement some kind of pvp rep (peer reputation, independent reputation, whatever you ultimately call it), which goes down when one kills a much weaker ship, or a player many levels below, or a player with positive rep; I'm sure the particulars can be figured out). Run occasional events where the rewards are bounties on players with negative rep. Make exceptions for regularly scheduled pvp events or anywhere it makes sense. Allow players to contribute to a bounty pool (balancing this may be tricky, but I'm sure not impossible). Create a one-trick pony bounty hunter ship only players with positive rep can use. 🤣 This all would go a long way to alleviate bullying and unfair play, without jeopardizing the pvp aspect that actually works and is genuinely fun (i.e., when you pit your ships against opponents of equal strength, and where actual skill matters, like crewing your ships properly). If you run around killing skinny miners all day, and run from a fair fight, there should be repercussions.

I agree and have suggested myself something like other games, a morale penatly for attacking ships so many levels below you. LIke if your a Lvl 45 attacking a Lvl 30, 1000% penatly, so for 15 levels below 1000%, 12 levels 900%, etc....all the way down to the normal plus/minus 2 lvls. Play test the %'s and see what it fair. Maybe 500%, from 12-15 lvels below, 400% 9-11 levels, 300% 7-8 levels, 200% 5-6 levels, and 100% 3-4 levels. This would be applied to across the board, attack, hull, shields, and etc....

This is one aspect that is the most unbalanced in all of the game. The time is takes to level up, and save all the resources needed, means you live in shield bubble to save what you need to level up. It would also help keep the bullies in check if there was more of a chance they would lose thier big ship.

I can't find a way to disable notifications that appear at the top of the game that are annoying, blocked or not blocked. For example, having a notification that informs us that we've just killed a hostile is totally useless; we're not stupid and we know we've just done it. A lower level killing skinny miners of higher-level players with his biggest ship would still be penalized; a player in your scenario won't. And don't get bogged down with the details and exact percentages; we are here to suggest general ideas. How exactly they are implemented is the job for Scopely's game design team and developers. And the idea here is to discourage griefing.

I want to see features added to make alliances function more like the command structure that is implemented here in name only.

That is to say: Admirals set policy and lower ranks implement it. So Alliances members can be operating on the same page.

I am sick of psycho pvp nuts forcing their way into alliances and running rampant bitting multiple systems full of empty miners and expecting their reluctant comradesto back them up.

There needs to be a way to set what each rank can do...and pubish those who dont conform.

Get some low speed mines of G2 and lower G3 and lowest speed G4 mines in the lower systems , but u can only mine on them from lvl 20 /30/38 .

Conquer the flag systems.
In the lower systems give some events of capturing the systems with max level ships ( for example sally maxed, or vahklas or kumari maxed systems where u will have for 24 hours 4druple mining speed on G3 or G4 mines.
After this the event will disappear and appear in another system.
The systems are not announced . it is about exploration.
Do this event for a week.

Battle of the titans.
Battle between rom, Klingon and fed ships.
Kill all ships from another faction.
Gain faction points with it.
Killing ships from eachother gives min points.
Killing ships with bigger difference of 2 tiers gives min points.
Ships above epic battle eachother to the strongest.

Recruit event :
Get the most recruits in event.
Alliances that recruit new players are offered rewards.
The more u recruit the more rewards u get.

I agree the fix is to adjust the level ranges, but just that, you start adding in power level as a component and people will come up with ways to abuse it just like they are with level ranges. If you have some weird formula of level ranges and power levels people won't be able to PvP even reasonably and knowing $copely it'll probably not work.

Just +/-2 is too restrictive past level 23-25, +10 is likely never an issue, but -10 is a bit moronic. But $copely doesn't care, otherwise the Northstar would not exist, so OP at level 19 that it drives people to level away from it - possibly with money - or to buy one of their own to combat it.

Make embassy's targets like an armada in a territory takeover event. If you can destroy it, you get extra points. Also, alliance defending it would have to spend resources to repair it if they keep possession. That would add the element of protecting the embassy to the event and make them more interesting.

I would give up and start again (if it was necessary) to be in the Cardassian faction (rather than fed/rom). These guys are by far the best alien race. They have culture and science perfectly intertwined in their story - please consider adding this as a new race

To provide some balance to alliance v alliance PvP, why not introduce a Draft System for alliances? Without getting into the specifics of the math, why not come up with a draft score metric (I'll use ops level for the example for simplicity sake but it could be power or some mix of both) that determines the average player ops of all alliances that have placed within the top 30 or so in an ALB in recent months (to exclude dead alliances) and use this for the basis of restricting recruitment?

So say if Alliance X has an average ops level of 34 and the Server average is 32, then they can only recruit members of level 30 or below (their average ops level being higher than the server by 2, they have to recruit 2 levels below the average)

Whereas if Alliance Y has an average ops level of 28, they would be entitled to recruit members of any level that wouldn't bring their average above the server level of 32 (so in a normal sized alliance, they could recruit a level 50).

I think such a system would not only encourage more balance on the servers, it would also reduce the alliance hopping currently going on to game the mechanics as players may not risk leaving their alliance for a temporary reward if they might not be able to be recruited back in afterwards....

Another suggestion would be to eliminate the ability in general (not just in the origin sector) to see ships in systems you aren't in - you could still see the system (i.e. you have mapped the system so you know what it looks like) but not the ships / stations. Perhaps that could be paired with "long range sensors" that would let you see systems within a certain number of warp corridors, or warp distance from your ships.

Ok please hear me out and not click delete the moment you see “Free” or “give away”.
It’s been a big gripe among the community about the sheer price of packs and how there’s nothing for the small spenders or F2P to dabble in. It’s a very high risk high reward strategy that scopely has adopted atm. I propose a middle ground. Keep all those mega £99.99 packs as much as you want, but introduce a small subscription package. You have a similar thing with your monthly choice option but those are £99.99 or £48.99 respectively and NONE of those I repeat NONE of those even give you a rare mat. Me personally I only ever bought a ns special and that was it. Until your elite pass. I have bought a few of those because they offer some value. Me and a lot of people like me don’t mind paying a little bit for something of value. Xbox game pass for instance (other game subscription services are available) I never touched the thing when it was like £7 a month of its own. But they put ea play in the mix and gold for £10 a month and I was all over that bad boy as was many many others. See value deals pull in the tight arse punters. My suggestion is make a £5 a month subscription and make the rewards valuable. Even if you get among others things one blue Crystal a day just one it would work out at 30 a month can you imagine how many people you would pull in? The whales and the F2P alike and it wouldn’t change that much to the game. I need 230 blue crystals for one sally component it would take 7.6 months for me to get enough crystal from the £5 pack presuming you included just one a day. That’s £40 in the bank for you lot and I’ve managed to upgrade one component. Can you see the benefits? They weigh MASSIVELY in your favour. But and I stress this make the £5 a month WORTH IT. If you make it literally one of each rare mat and nothing else no one will bother. You have a real opportunity here to keep catering to whales and bringing in a much wider market. And grind is still king

a nice addition concerning armadas would be an EXCLUDE buttom. Would allow people to try to solo an armada for their e-peen and to test the strength of their ships without having to fear some nosey alliance-mate just joins uninvited and unannounced.

Systems could be locked during takeover only to allow for armadas and standard pvp. Allow early payment to start say 20 min. This would enable preclear strats.
Any ship not a member of the participant alliances are returned to base.

A mission arc list to see which missions have been completed and in which story arc they were in, mainly because it's sometimes difficult knowing which mission takes place before or after others, as well as an option to replay certain ones if you wanted too. Also being able to play missions you might've missed because you didn't know they were available until after you leveled up at a certain point would be interesting for those into the storylines.

It's a nice idea, but actually really difficult without adding a flexible chat channel system that you can send and recieve to in one tab. Other MMOs get around that by having you type in /channel "message" , but that's pretty difficult in a mobile game 🙂

Can we have a new feature for armadas to better organize those? I would love to see that instead of directly starting the Armadas, you call out for members to join. You maybe even see a flag already that is half transparent, in there members can still send their ships via "join" button. But the armadas is still not running, you can see in the list who is coming, his power and travel time. As soon as you see you have enough people, you can press "Run".

And extra cool feature it would be if that "Run" button would send out the ships from the docks if that has not yet happened.

That has the advantage that other alliances see already that some group is preparing for armadas to avoid conflicts, but also allows to minimize the risk of wasting directives - and especially for rare and epic armadas this is most annoying as you collect these directives for weeks if not even month

Territories should NOT be blind to the alliance that owns them. From an In character standpoint, does it make ANY sense that Alliance A owns 5 territories but has no ability to peer in or view system? We own the territories! Shouldn’t or wouldn’t we put devices in the systems to allow us to monitor them?

  3. The ability to have ALL my ships attack a target together rather than 1 at a time.

  5. Text message notifications to actually come through at the correct times rather than 10 or more minutes later.
  6. More faction hunt more offen (I need to get the enterprise and augar).
  7. Better kick out of officer shards for officers I already have.
  8. A better way to level my ships up with the constant grind.
  9. A way to dispatch my ships to complete my combat dailies while I'm offline. And explorer systems I've yet to explore.
  10. Removal of the ship triangle to make fights between same strength ships more fair. (I never saw the USS enterprise lose to klingon D7s because they were battleships and it was an explorer).
    And finally please may I have 3 maxed out enterprises, 3 maxed out augars, georgiou officer, enough resources, materials, speed ups to level my base to level 50.

TERRITORY suggestion: on our server the territories for the strongest Alliances have become entrenched. Like WWI entrenched. What if every Alliance could also own a “roving” territory that you could only own for a day and then couldn’t own again for a week. The costs for this territory would be scaled to account for the shorter hold time.

Alternatively, you could increase the costs of activating bonuses every time you hold the same territory. Eventually, it would become cost prohibitive to stay and you would be forced to move around.

Also the pvp ratio is messed up because it changed last year from including all base hits as player hits and thus increasing the kdr. This number needs to just be reset as it isn't actually accurate to the player's true kdr since the meaning has changed. You can't add apples and chicken and still call the outcome fruit.

It'd also be cool if the kdr was also a coefficient for calculating itself. If you hit someone with a high kdr, your hit counts as much as [(loser kdr+1)×(the number of ships you kill)] (say you're hitting a base). Therefore some player with a high kdr can't kill a bunch of low level players and claim they're all that and a bag of chips because of their kdr. However because of the +1, if the loser has a kdr below 1, it won't drop your kdr by hitting them. It'd be also cool if there were things with the higher kdr would give you some benefits (within reason)

Right now the kdr is completely meaningless because it's calculated by two unalike equations (unless you started hitting after it was changed) and it doesn't do anything or help you in any way.

Swarmadas.

Once a month, the Swarm gather in larger groups in every system. It is unknown why they are doing this, but it isn't likely to be good if these groups become established. Gather your alliance members with your Franklins and disperse these congregations to keep the galaxy safe!

Swarmadas give large quantities of Frequency Modulators as rewards, and if they aren't destroyed during the event weekend will spawn a lvl (1 level greater than the system) Swarm Hostile that chases player ships until the Swarmadas in that system are destroyed. This hostile will respawn every 5 to 10 minutes until the Swarmadas are removed, but they don't spawn during the event.

Scopley here is an idea. Maybe a crap one but here goes.

We have far too many different currenices in the game. Why not increase the number of alliance credits drastically so players can use them to do what they need.

For example. Need to build a ship? that will cost you 10k credits.
Need to upgrade a building? We sir, that'll cost 5k credits.

Get rid of all the steel, trit, dil, officer tokens, materials, amarda tokens and all that and replace with a single currency....

Here is a UI suggestion that would work for me. Features a banner that doesn't cover any other UI buttons and info, moves dil, trit and par into the same section as latinum, placed on the left hand of the screen where it can be hidden if more screen is required with the rest of the information on that side. The Alliance Help button has been placed near the Alliance button in the bottom left of the screen, and a few more buttons have been placed at the bottom right to allow easy movement between the interior and exterior of your starbase, your system and the galaxy view. The Missions and Dailies button has been moved to the RHS of the screen just above the Shields and Bookmarks buttons. This for me would be far more ergonomic, a little less mixed up, prevents banner issues, accidental hitting of the dailies button, and allows for greater "viewscreen" access when doing battles or missions.

Since we've got ALB events lasting weeks, and with territory takeover encouraging players to transfer or merge alliances, would be nice if we also didn't miss out on all these rewards for ALB's.

How about focusing on some of the easy fixes we're always asking for over the Christmas sprint? These aren't difficult things to code, all should be within any professional developers ability to add in a single day:

  1. Allow Officers to be sorted by Attack, Defence and Health. Use the existing UI, just add these options to the dropdown and add to the sort code. Yes, presets would be nice but this could be done separately as there's obviously a lot more dev time required.

  2. Add an option to settings that lets us turn off pop up notifications.

  3. Add an "are you sure?" prompt to the latinum repair button.

  4. Add a triple pull on Uncommon Armada crates - most of my alliance only run uncommons for the chance to get rare directives - we all have so much unommon

  1. Restrict players from mining certain materials until they're capable of refining it. There are scads of low-level players sitting on zeroed nodes, taking up space, and preventing others from taking those nodes. "If you can't refine it, you can't mine it." Alternatively, remove the ops level restriction on hits on zeroed nodes, so anyone can bump them off.

  2. Remove survey ships from the Power Destroyed stat. We have players who run around, clearing systems, simply to bump up their stats.

Create new systems for PvP Events. There is plenty of space available West of Fed now with Territory. Make the planets "OPS Locked" based on the PvP Event brackets. No one can get into them unless they meet the level OPS requirement. A little food for thought... Seems like it can be a good general fix for a multitude of problems.

Players do not want galaxy wide PvP event.. Players do not want to PvP in "Farming" systems.. I personally want to PvP everywhere and do. However the base is wanting something more. Give it to them. PvP dedicated zones, OPS locked. I know you can;t make it happen over night, but this is something to consider.

Thank you for keep on making the game better, imo, and hope you keep listening to the good feedback.

General suggestion, if an alliance is smaller than their allowed helps, they should be able to re request helps after a set amount of time to continue getting them from the players they have. Maybe a help request cool down timer of 2 hours or something. But if players have an alliance that can send 15 helps but only have 6 regularly active players, and are happy playing that way, the answer shouldn’t be “join a bigger alliance”

Create/repurpose empty systems for set pvp OPs levels(when you enter the system the name pop up also says the lvl(s)), cut battle damage by 50-90% (so fights often hit 100 rounds) now you have pvp fights that depends more on pvp crew set ups and allow multiple fights to occur before some dies or recalls to repair

PvP is a competition. How about once a Week we have a competition.
New systems based on Ops Level, locked by warp path requiring a token to enter. You can create a new gifts tab to give out an unlimited supply of tokens, with a maximum of however many Docks you have on your station.
Run a daily event like The one in current use. Top 3 players from each bracket can now NOT participate in any more events until the Championship. Tuesday reset through Saturday reset you can Build up the Championship Round.

Championship Saturday reset to Sunday Reset - Create an event with rewards differing from the previous days events. (Spoiler - ANYONE able to obtain a warp token, can still go PVP to help fleet mates and friends)

This would be considered somewhat proper PVP content to those of us who started playing this game because of the way it was advertised...

We are now seeing people temporarily leave an alliance to join another help with takeover or defense by sitting on nodes in origins space. There needs to be a timer or something that prevents this. Examples. After joining alliance you can't enter territory space for 24hrs, or something to that effect. There currently is no deterent to such behaviors.

I think it's time we start seeing some Augment events to help with the massive costs associated with the Borg Officers. It costs 6,923,000 active nanoprobes to fully tier all the current Borg officers. With a T9 Vi'Dar the conversion rate is 155,000 Inert Nanoprobes for 4,800 Active Nanoprobes. It would take 1443 Days of refining to max all the officers. In what deluded world would it be okay to tell someone to refine every day for 4 YEARS straight to max them all?

We have two players on our server, who hunt at night all miners without mining afterwards. Just for their fun... Then constantly changing names and changing their bases... I like when the mission has a number on it that indicates the recommended level. Can that number be added to all missions next to the accept button? I have dozens of missions archived because they're way too high for me. And it takes forever searching through missions in my list for ones I can finish. The missions also need a warning that if you choose one faction, you will be locked out of certain missions for other factions. I thought I could dual faction grind and ended up getting locked out of some missions. I guess that's humans for ya, always forcing people to polarize and pick sides. F* anyone that tries to stay neutral

As much as I like the game, damn these story arc missions are boring as f***. Hit locate, blow up a ship that can be destroyed by sneezing on, hit locate blow up another weak ship, hand over some resources, hit 20 weak ships, return to base and repeat 50 times. And if you enjoyed that you can get a one trick pony ship for £300! Lucky us!

Give us something better, give us problems we have to solve, maybe a clue to find something in a system without a locate button. Maybe where we need to find several things to make something to continue the mission. Hell, even randomise where it is for each person so we can't google the solution! Just stop turfing out the same 💩 over and over while just displaying a different characters dialog, it not getting old, it's already waaay past that.

  1. When assigned officers to a ship, allow us to sort by Attack, Defense, and Health so we can better configure the lower decks set-up 2) Allow ships to jetison cargo for the purpose of either sharing resources with other players (maybe as a peace offering or helping out fellow alliance members) or to increase warp speed with 0 cargo 3) when selecting different ships, highlight the warp paths to all the galaxies that are within its warp range to eliminate some of the guess work when travelling

Ideas to make territory capture more interesting and balanced.

  • Limit the maximum territories allowed per alliance to 3 or 4 instead of 5.
    It seems like total over kill the allow one team to hold five zones and you now just see the same top ten alliances occupy the entire map with no real chance of challenging them are changing that status quo. There are now four teams on our map with five territories that are also spread over all three particle types. They will never have to move from that position and they also lock their vassal alliances into place around them so it's a big happy stalemate. Making this change will make the decision of which territories to hold or to abandon much more interesting and consequential as alliances shift around the map trying to get new particles and resources while actually fighting each other. Most importantly, this will make room for some smaller teams to carve our a pie of the pie for themselves.

  • Schedule multiple takeovers at once.
    This will help put less strain on a takeover system in where literally everyone on the server can show up to every single fight. If multiple fights happen at the same time, then people have to choose where and when to send there forces.

  • **Put some sort of limit or cooldown on entering other systems. **
    This will prevent hundreds of ships showing up to help other teams capture or defend territories and the non-stop raiding. This could be a general warp token for entering hostile territory space that you can have max three of and it refreshes every 5 minutes from the gift store to get a new batch of three (sort of like the borg transwarp nodes). Also a travel ban into any system where a takeover has started and your team has not joined it. Again, these things stop the huge congestion of ships and forces players to choose when to travel to certain places and which ships to use.

  • Diminishing returns
    What about giving less and less rewards and buffs the longer the same team holds a zone? Gives more incentive to conquer fresh territory rather than sit on your butt doing nothing

  • Global reset
    What about reseting the entire map every two or three months to start again from a clean slate giving everyone a fresh chance at carving out their territory?

  • Remove fog of war on your own systems.
    Do I even need to explain?

If they're target-able separately, then the warship's job is to intercept the threat. If you target the warship, then any competent commander would be like, "Fortunate, we're under attack. Get away while we cover you!"

Thus, might as well make them one unit. Supposedly how raiding a base considers the combined power of the station's defenses as well as the ships docked there. They're apparently all considered part of the battle, and your single ship has to overpower them all.

@mystic cipher I understand your frustration. I simply learned to not go over the cargo protect limit, and don’t mine at night where my target, I mean miner will almost certainly go OPL. On our server, unless your on zero, or OPL, you don’t get hit. Server accepted ROE prevents that. Most of the times. There are wars, in which miners are favorite targets, and the occasional sweeper. Bottom line, use social skills to have admirals get together on discord to iron out a server ROE.

@ebon beacon I agree that territory takeover can use a few tweaks. Once you get your 5 territories though, it’s not “sit on your butt” and do nothing. 5 days a week you still have to defend those territories. Also, using social skills to gather a force of several alliances can knock any alliance out of its territory. I agree the current system leaves a lot of people out in the cold, but like I said that is where social skills come in.

Bottom line, this is a WAR game. Is there competition for those territories? Of course! You have to FIGHT for them, but no one says you have to fight alone.

Make two more Territory Sectors by Fed / indi space. Give more zones to capture and more rewards. This will give more space for multiples of alliances to work in and expand the TC user base. Smaller alliances would invest in the event sales and take part. Right now they are all feeling locked out. This is coming from one of the largest and most battle hardened alliances on my server. I agree with the concerns about 14 15 alliances fighting in the same sector at the same time. It's just nuts Mutliple territory captures going off at the same time is definitely a good thing and definitely do it after business hours in the appropriate timezone cause seriously day time captures are terrible. I mean... really who thought this would be a good idea.

Would be nice to view Territory Takeover Statistics after a Takeover has completed, most likely in the Alliance screen with a Takeover Logs/History much like a Battle Reports/Logs/Inbox screen.

Would like to see things like members points and types of points (Capture Node, Survival, Overdrive Capture, Overdrive Survival) The Territory and Systems those points were in, a total Sum, Total Times, Survival Averages, etc... that'd be super duper.

A repeated issue is how horrendous the Territory Capture is for smaller alliances. Small alliances should not be punished and shut out of the game.

One possible solution would be to have three little offshoots to the origin sector. Those would be smilar to a Level 5 system with level 1 offshoot systems. Each of those three branches would get one particle in them and each of the sub systems in those branches can only be individually occupied by alliances. No connections to expand like regular origin space. This lets the smaller alliances have one system to be able to get particles in and can swap from one branch to another from time to time.

As a larger alliance, we try to help the smaller ones out by allowing visitors, but there are many smaller alliances so it's difficult to help them all. Please stop making more and more parts of the game only accessible to the big, powerful and paying. At least give a way for all to have at least a small way to partcipate.

A suggestion is to help the FREE TO PLAY PLAYERS. 100% free to play, not the whales, or even the "dolphins". I think, even though you have to reward the pay to win players, the devs should give free to play players at level 15 or higher some bonuses at times. Like give 500k Paresteel, 250k Trit, and like 10k Dilithium like every day to every week so we can at least have a chance at fighting players. Or even add recruit tokens like epic or rare. I know the pay to win people should get rewards because they are paying, it obviously makes you rich. It's hard for us to get officers, and even repair our ships when we use it on stuff.

change the Inbox to... Captains Log, or Log for short. It should capture battle reports as it currently does, but even other things: Ship A flew to system X, Ship B mined node x in system y, Ship B finished mining node X in system y, Ship C excluded from armada, system shields dropped, base auto-shields activated, base auto-shields dropped, etc.

This could give a better immersion to the game and adds some value to players - knowing where they last mined or that they did hit zero node. Due to the nature of how many ships we attack/defend against it may make sense for battles to be in one tab and everything else in another for a reasonable history (mainly thinking of base attacks).

Ahoi Star Trek Community, today i had a little idea. we already got so much content in this game that it is really timecosty to play it all and smaller players have hard times to catch up. to make that easier i would suggest something like an autopilot for specific systems/tasks. for example vidar is able to farm probes in borg space automaticly.
so the time consuming is less per player and less frustration/burnout.
Okay i know this feature would be really powerful and needs some ballancing. For example farming by hand should be always the most efficient, so my first suggestion would be a little delay after a kill or that target is random and so produces more flighttime... needs to be figured out.
And also a limitation like only one hull for borg space and then a 22 hour cooldown. so we got a nice quality of life feature that is not too overpowered. details need to be figured out...

No, multiplayers can target a ship, once a battle begin with the target, all ships that targeted it can continue their attack, these one could says, 10 ship its fighti g at once, this would make for great alliance tactics, make pvp events fun. NOTE all ship can be target till they are in battle.

What if one person is targeting just to scan? Do they automatically get sucked into the attack? What if someone changes her mind, how do they get out of the attack?

What if most ships are on the far side of the system but the one who attacks is right next to the target? Would the attack be based on timing of when ships get over to the target - so possibly not simultaneous - or would all ships have to wait for all ships to show up? Would the target ship be stuck in battle and not be allowed to warp out even though they might actually have plenty of time to?

What if the target ship attacks the closest ship event though that ship is part of a group? Shouldn’t the target ship be able to attack the lone ship and then the rest reconfigure their group attack and the target ship be removed from combat since from their viewpoint the attack is over?

For a held territory if it is to be contested limit the time to declare to the first 5 minutes. If no one declares by then let us auto win so we can do something with our time in game besides park and collect points that aren’t worth anything to the team afterwards.

I would like to suggest adding the below decks ship and crew.
The Cerritos ship ability wuld be “luck” so when by chance in a battle round if the ship gets lucky, it will destroy any other ship... even a enterprise A🤣 the crew abilities for mariner and others would activate if below deck... mariner would have extreme luck ability to cause the Cerritos to win against impossible odds. I think it would be a lot of fun to add them and give a ship that can beat all the bigs and hostiles... but only if lucky🤣. Think on it but having the characters in game would be great

  1. scanning isn't attacking, so no we click to just look and have either attack or "join big attack"? Then who starts the attack?
  2. so someone being targetted by several people can't warp out if they have plenty of time, WTF?
  3. so if a group targets me, I could attack a red and break their group targetting and they have to resetup, so easy to keep avoiding, but since I couldn't warp out (point 2) eventually they just win

Seem like you just what make it difficult.
1 attack the same, no little or big attack, just who joins attacks before the first ship engages
2 as soon as you are not in battle.
3 if scopely wants they could stop reds from negating the attack or tge attack continue regardless of the red. It really not the hard.

Ability to get more uncommon ship parts, with the Parabellum event & heroic daily events, there, plus the tiny amount you get from refining (if your lucky to get uncommon over common) past tier 4 on the Jelly fish amounts to approximately 1 component per month... so with 9 component your looking at about 7-9 months to get to tier 5 / level 25. This is a crazy amount of time! $160 per component at this point in time is also crazy. I can’t imagine how much tier 6 components cost all the way up to tier 12.... would like a response on this please, I look forward to hearing back from you.

It's a recent addition that other players' ship actually show the warp in/out animation; instead of just despawning.

You know how, in galaxy view, the symbol turns to face the proper direction while charging warp? What if, in system view, the ship turns to face the proper direction as well? Either while charging warp, or part of the warp-out animation?

It'll look more immersive ... and help track down escaping rivals.

@Community Manager is there a chance to have the battle pass converted to a "pick your reward" menu.
With all the different stuff to do and available, why can't we pick what we want.

For example on first step, why can't I choose to have the option to pick 5 enterprise blueprints and 10 million in trit tokens in stead of been just given stuff?
It's nice I get chance to win some new stuff (like some bps towards a ship I'll never use) but I'd like to be able to select something at each milestone that helps my game.

Yes we have the event store, but that's limited. Yes I love I can buy upto 20 enterprise Blue prints with enough of the imperial credits or some other G3 stuff, but what if I wanted to do a load of G2 stuff?? I don't have that option.

Putting everything upto a players current level and availability in game, in the battle pass, choose your reward, would be awesome for the next round of arcs. Might actually get more players trying to do the battle pass.

And for god sake, take domination off the battle pass. Most f2p players can never do it unless they spend a month saving everything up and do nothing else. Bit sad really.

With all of the new research that has been released this year, it is really hard to keep up with all of the research as you advance in the game. I believe that it would be great to give us the option to unlock a 2nd researcher. The news about the 2nd builder feels like it's the wrong item being given that feature, since research is usually what holds people back, in my experience.

Suggestion. Recently we have been having an issue with alliance chat. I am in a very active and talkative group but with more and more armadas being released our conversations and coordination are hard to follow. There are a large number of people that participate in armadas and our group does a call out of their name in order to get into them. This is the most balanced way we have found to give everyone a chance to do them. So my suggestion is it possible to add a new chat tab where the armada call out goes there so people have to go to a different chat room freeing up Alliance Chat for more important things and conversation. This might just be an issue that only affects my alliance and our game play but was something I thought others might experience as well.

Idea: we could refine lower grade materials for higher grade, ie 2* -> 3*. Depending on the rarity it would cost and give different amounts. (Grade 2 to grade 3) Common: 1000 for 100, Uncommon: 1500 for 75, etc.. for the next tier (grade 3 to grade 4) it would be same amounts for common and uncommon and for rare: 2000 for 50

Suggestion: We need the ability to attack our own alliance members. There are at least two compelling reasons for this. First, with the introduction of territories, you have mining nodes that are only mineable by alliance members and are hidden in dark space. We need the ability to clear these on our own. Secondly, with all the new officers, we would like to experiment and play with configurations and loadouts; we should be able to do this with our own members in fully controlled environments. These are just two reasons; there are others.

Ship A is a mining ship that normally has Ten of Ten on it.
Ship B is a mining ship with Stonn on it
Ship C is a Explorer with Kirk/Spock/Bones on it
Ship D is a Intercepter with Pike/Moreau/Chen

I plan to run a Borg attack using the Vi'dar.
I switch my Ship D to Vi'Dar and then load the Crew Loadout that I named "Borg". This will pull (assuming they are at Home and available) and assign my crew of Pike/Moreau/T'Lann on the bridge and Bones/Ten/Stonn as my lower deck etc.

I just did this as an example crew.

This would make switch crews/ships much easier both in PvE and PvP.

Suggestion... make mining Tritanium (and Parasteel/Dilithium) actually worth it! even with a Tribbles 230% mine rate on high end Horizon it still takes 8 hours to mine a petty 200k worth, barely enough to repair a typical lvl 30s ship... mining node need to be least 5x faster, prob more like 10x in reality.

I'd actually file this as a complaint, as there have been pretty consistent issues with User Experience (UX), but we'll make this a suggestion.

The gifts section gets hosed every time they add stuff. Don't punish players who haven't yet qualified for something, or whatever... The 10min, 4 hour and 24 hour are nicely laid out so that the ones most used are on the left so players don't have to scroll right to get to more frequent gifts.

But then you added Borg, which is once every 24 hours... and stuck it on the left. And missions, holiday events, and whatever else you can stick in there gets shoved where everyone is forced to scroll past them and it's aaf (annoying as Furunculous myiasis).

The gifts section is probably made up of and populated by index. Fair enough, if it was done right for scalability, there's padding empties in the index and they should be used; if not, they should be put in, so that when you add (stuff, or other things we like to call them that would be censored and may not be suitable for children), you can simply stick it in between things.

Get it? Got it? Good.

Organize ALL stores like the faction store. Add a dropdown at the top that lets you switch faction/alliance/recruit/territory/$$$/event/etc. Then have it organized even more so with event store, the folders on the left (similar to each faction) would be officers, then ship bps, then ship parts, materials, frames/avatars etc.

Also in the faction store, have every row dedicated to a specific product so you don't have to keep scrolling to find crap. Possibly also make it customizable.

So couple more ideas, which I'm sure have been put forward before, I would guess.

  1. Alliance members being able to scan their own alliance ships to see if they opc, what crews they running, and all the other goodies that we can see when we scan enemies.
  2. Scan nodes Controlled by same alliance. Its a pain in the arse when you have to see if a little bit of the ship is sticking out of the node.
  3. Auto mining recall. The ability to set my miners to mine to a specific amount and they return automatically.
  4. A 3 tier auto attack system (stolen from star trek amardas).
    Green alert, only attacks to defend itself.
    Yellow alert, attacks hostiles within a 3 sec arc.
    Red alert, attacks hostiles within a 8 sec arc.
  5. Set ships to automatically defend targets.
  6. Ability to attack own alliance members to stop enemies stealing loot.
  7. Saved officer load outs (how many times do we have to ask for this????)
  8. Trading market to trade with other players for unwanted Xmas gifts.
  9. A holiday event that is taylored to players actually levels and not based on a base level (eg lv15) (Easter coming soon hint hint).
  10. The ability to have more ships dock at drydocks. There are 5 points on each dock. Let us use them.
  11. Auto mining part 2. Build a miner and give it orders to mine a specific resource or material.
  12. Take miners off our available docks. I would love to use my docks purely for warships and let miners mine automatically.
  13. Use the shipyard to repair and tier up ships rather than blocking a dock for hours or days.
  14. When building ships and building, upgrading them. Actually see the construction/upgrade in progress not the finished product. I mean watching my saladin being built was about as much fun as watching paint dry because it was already built in like 0.000004 secs. But I had to wait 9 days before I could use it (thank god I had speedups).
  15. Battle pass changed to a "pick your reward".

For the TOS arc, instead of adding additional one-trick pony ships as it currently the practice, create TOS skins for some of the existing faction ships that we have to grind skin BPs for. It still gives us something to grind for and earn (or buy) during the Arcs without having more ships and gameplay loops. People would dig the option to turn their Ent or D4 into TOS versions

So when is the g4 economy going to be fixed? G4 cost for ships and buildings is literally 100 times higher than g3, but refinery’s of g3 and g4 output the same paltry amount of resources. Warehouses can’t hold even a fraction of the resources required for one building.

If this game is supposed to technically be F2P, then it needs to be set up that way. I technically should be able to have enough in my warehouse and generators to make a building or upgrade a component. Might take a while to generate it through generators, but it still should be doable.

When raiding a base, can you allow us to choose what to take? For example.. Right now I need Trit pretty badly, so I will look for a base to raid that has a ton of it. Let me take just that bases Trit. I have plenty of Par and Dil. Can you imagine if on Star Trek I sent a ship out with no real orders? Chaos! Let me dial in my orders please.

I only shield at night. And all the people knew where my base was until TC. I almost never shielded.

This doesn't take away from my suggestion though. I'd like to give my raiding ships more direction. Let me take only what I need, and not what I don't.

Add a "Latinum Store" where you can convert latinum to parts, common G3, and speedups. This would allow F2P players with low stocks of latinum to pre-spend it so they don't accidentally click latinum repairs and instance repair a ship for way too much.

Not that anything will change as the money grab continues but fix the fricking refinery. Quit being so greedy and make it easier for new players to advance. The addition of new ships and research tree wouldn’t be so bad if there was an increase instead of a decrease in refinery output. We all get how greedy you are but how about showing some acknowledgment that the game is unbalanced and actually start making some improvements instead of new glitches and content to drive revenue.

Yea, my alliance has 5 territories, and I only mine in them for events. Unless you're willing to move into Origins space, I don't find it beneficial to mine Mats/Rss there. Travel times are awful and there are no hostiles to kamikaze home on.

Move your base there, you're less likely to get hit for longer periods of time, mining is 50%-100% faster, and no one can steal a node from you.

Since TC started, my miners outside of Origin space have been hit significantly less.

You just have to keep an eye on your miners a little better because they mine faster but other than that, they're good.

Again, it's all pros and cons. Which I guess that's kind of the point, if you're trying to have a game have strategy, then make something where people have to weigh pros and cons.

Before there really wasn't any strategy, now this is turning more and more into one, which I appreciate. It's not always 'the largest player always wins'

You should only be able to raid people that you are able to raid.

as a 29, I can crack up to a 34 in a reasonable amount of time. Which means a 35+ should not be able to raid me
