Yeah. Seriously. @prime gulch and @cobalt elm Y’all are the community managers. The community is overwhelmingly saying that we are tired of the near-constant domination events. Please pass it along. We are sick and tired of feeling like the devs don’t care.
I’m not saying we need brand new events every week. But at least give us something active like Battle for Glory or Seperatists—or even the old Hostile Hunts! Maybe a faction hostile hunt every now and then. But domination events? Those make this game an idle game, not an RPG war game.
If I wanted to play an idle game, I’d go play Tap Titans.

Battle for glory, elite hostiles separatists, faction hostiles, anything but another fucking domination event. This has been running since middle of October! I would have thought since this is the 1 year anniversary of the game that they might actually come up with something new and fun this month but no, you get some free crappy uhura shards (who doesn’t work right anyways) and DOMINATION event with crappy rewards. Give events that give Officer xp or uncommon crystal or something. Listen to the damn community for once.

Yes, you would think with the huge update we just had that we would have gotten some killer events to test it out. We've had our great sunday/monday recurring events and a very fun (but too long) call to arms, but the rest has just been terrible.

Anyway of clearing messages/notifications from game so you don't have to go through them again on another device that you're playing the game on, it's a pain having 100 or so notifications to cycle through.

I’m so wanting to be doing a different event! My whole alliance is wanting something different, can you not throw us some separatist events?? I’m holding at my level till my ships catch up with me and have researched everything but a select few taking a lot of the same uncommons I need. O the boredom!

Faction hostiles event alone could let someone buy major upgrades on higher tier ships if they were just active. Can’t have that happen anymore, buy packs or shrivel up and wilt is the new normal.

So... I can tell you that the mod team has relayed feedback about 1) wanting not Domination and 2) more engaging events. And I genuinely think / hope the team is working on a few including the return of faction hunt events.
I'm a player too - all mods are (it's a requirement) - so we totally get it. And we're doing our best to point out what the team does well (yay warp cancellation) and where the player base really wants more focus (engaging events).

Ok, how about getting on them to fix the badges still not dropping from the faction chest that says they have a chance of dropping? Only been how many months now? It’s not about engaging events, it’s about just bringing back the ones that had rewards we want.

Of a few hundred people surveyed in server 27, no one has gotten them from faction chests or pvp hits, and when I pop into other server discord’s it’s much the same story. Nary a screen shot of someone actually getting them at even a 1% drop rate.

@sonic robin They do listen feedback but not always.We got warp cancel recently which is a great example of them listening,but then we got terrible Black Friday,anniversary stuff and events.Mods gave their feedback and lets hope they listen during next anniversary/Black Friday.About events,Domination events are fillers so I hope something big is coming 🤞

While I get the complaints about the frequency of domination events, are people considering that maybe there’s a reason behind it? Like new content or features that will require more power to be able to participate? Might well not be the case, but it’s a possibility.

Problem is, last time the big event after domination was armadas, 3 times in a row for launch, rare and epic. All non-events when you've run out of directives - I'm just fed up with every aspect of the game being monetised to death. Pay to level, pay to upgrade ships, pay for new events, pay for new quests, pay to get ships early, it's all too much.

Key problem is that a domination event does not in any way assist your progress, it's a whip not a carrot.
If the idea is to push us to progress here's a suggestion: Tell us upfront what we are progressing towards and provide events that assist in that goal....shove dominion/domination events where the sun don't shine

@open otter see, you say that. But they do occasionally listen—look at the warp cancel. Look at the compensation they sent out for the massive Overhaul mess-up. Look at the swarm Sundays. Look at how much easier it is to finish dailies now. They do make changes based on what the players say—it just takes the players saying it loudly and often. And they just take their time

- I get that they need filler events, but there are better filler events. Remember Alliance Hostile Hunts? Those used to be CONSTANT. When’s the last time we had one of those?

I was hoping for more content for the 1st Anniversary. If I log in 5 days in a row I get 35 uhura shards (which I cant use without a badge) and 12k of each g3 ore which lets me do a refine for, at most 4 uncommons which, given I need thousands of them to level my shipyard, Bortas, Sally, D3, two Horizons, honestly whats the friggin' point! The Black Friday 'special offer' packs to unlock a random epic are not that special given they are £100 quid, not even reduced, and no choice of officer to unlock - I'd end up getting Nero with my luck. The £20 blue officer pack isn't much better, but hey I at least get 2* materials which, at Ops level 30 I need right!?!? Sorry $copely - I would spend money and be happy too, but the prices for what essential is a slot machine is way to OTT for most people.

Faction credits would also be handy so I could get a new ship which would also help me be stronger for future events. Domination doesn't really help me much though

Aye same @sonic robin - I am never going to rank since I'm not a big spender, the alliance event gives some nice stuff like tokens and lat but you need to be in a top 10 alliance to benefit. What I really need at the moment is uncommons and officer badges.

Domination is up right now most likely due to the USA holiday since large numbers of people are traveling and would be unable to participate in any hardcore events. It's actually one of the few nice things scopely has done. Looking forward to what the realta event will be tomorrow but I expect to be disappointed.

Anniversary event feedback: shite sales, shite rewards for results event, everybody has to relocate to participate, no anniversary giveaways, no actual black Friday sales.
The utterly minimal care and effort that went into the ‘anniversary’ is, unfortunately, par for the course. Scopely only takes, never gives. Yet again scopely proves they don’t care at any level, and this they’re geared 100% to the whales that will spend their way to 39 no matter how shitey the game is and how poorly they treat their ftp and paying customers.

Since the event was being held in a specific zone, i expected that system to have a special warp level for the event that allowed everyone's Realta to get there. The requirement to move and be unshielded to participate suggests a disconnect on the part of event design. I am not leaving my hive and opening my base to opportunists that I cannot defend against. I was disappointed that I couldn't do the Realta event without opening myself to risk, I think it was a fun idea and hopefully better planned next year.

Is totally the point. Like enterprises, jelly's take very little. So repair the base, cheap. Looters aren't going to get in if you have a repaired base and/or warship home. Show them they can't loot you, and they'll go away.

Your server must be pretty calm compared to mine. We have plenty of people that like to crack you constantly just for fun. Not to mention that when I leave my hive the watchers step in to fill the spot and harass alliance members. Leaving a hive is a no-go unless there is someone ready to fill it right away

No, we have hivers too. They just huddle up and mine, never loot anybody because theyr'e too afraid to 'leave the protection of their hive', and still get emptied becasue they have terrible shield discipline.

base defenses are really god now, leave one good warship home and only the highest level players should be able to one shot your base. repair and smash enough of their miners and they usually give up or sacrifice a warship again. Hives are not really a good way to play. they resrict you far too much and don't really offer any protection other than making raiders have to travel slightly further. Virtually no alliance has been able to effectively isolate an entire system so it's really a moot point.

Yeah I love when people hive, they almost always have terrible shield discipline and almost never defend their own, or are incapable of doing so. They are always the best places to raid, they don't deter me in the slightest.

@echo sleet yes it is great. That's for one day. They should fix the original refinery as it spits 4s and 8s only most of the time. It's important when one level up the refinery should benefit the players but sadly it doesn't no matter how much one levels up

@ornate grail they gave 100 of each factions credits plus ultra recruit tokens. If you didn’t get it you have to contact Scopely as Havana said. It doesn’t require cashing in the mirror sigils, you’ll still have them once you get the pack. Guessing they will come into play when they roll out more of that storyline.

Stop with all the DOMINATION Events now Scopely, it’s taking fun out of this great game. Please also make rewards better all around, give players a reason to compete instead of us being out of pocket for repairs and tritanium. Repair speeds are way to low and bases are now ridiculous to break and most not worth the cost of breaking it. You have listened to the players with Warp cancellation now please do same again, it’s getting dull now and a lot of us are waiting some decent event.

If no one mentioned before, the Realta event was a non starter for most, because apparently the rules changed and now minimum warp anywhere is 13, while most of our Realta ships were built to old scale with maximum warp 6, so even with maxed cadet scotty, not warp capable, so have to move starbase to system you want Realta to fly in.

Yeah the rewards are not great, but are every 8 hrs so I can live with it, though I missed this morning before work as there was 1hr left after sleeping sigh. Easily doable since the ship buff so I am happy though swimming in Parsteel now. If I can cobble together enough UC ore I might be able to level my ops.

@green quartz on some servers the game IS unplayable, noe one can see any hostiles, mines, or other players in any system but their home system. The event is meaningless if no one can actually participate in it.

I have after this battle for Glory I missed that the gold trophy could be used to get officer recruiting cards. This resulting in that I have 1391 point not spent. Do I get i back next trophy event? Or lost in space? If lost not to happy with that. Should be able to spend your rewards with out time limits.

Why was the Alliance Gold Trophy option tab removed from Recruit? It appeared when the event started and was removed when it ended. So, with a 24 hour cooldown, it was literally accessible 1d less than the days we could participate in the actual event. Many players have said they earn more than they can spend even when opening max chests. It would make sense to keep it up for another week or reduce the cooldown.

The game operates normally in all situations except when I enter a seperatist occupied system during this event. Then I get a red connection issue flag. Restart is required to clear it.
I am connected via ethernet cabling so it is not a wi-fi issue.

Solo event is based on damage done, alliance event is based on kills.
For me level 28, in the solo event, 1 damage dealt to separatist boss gives 5 points. If you use a faction ship to do it, you get 2 bonus points.

Not sure who needs to see this but, the fractured empire solo milestone for level 26 is not able to be finished except by those who are either filthy rich or are on and playing 24/7. There are no repair speedups given at the tier rewards, so the choices are to either blow up on bosses and wait 2.5 to 3 hours for repairs to finish or spend all day grinding on the 22s.

When is the quest coming back for Armada control Cores my alliance still doesn't have Armada control center yet since the people who can actually do armadas can't afford the $99 for the core you guys expect us to leave our alliances just to go to a reliance that does have armadas so that we can get the Armada cores? THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION ON RARE ARMADAS! I've heard they are really great. I'll report back in a month or two when I finally have enough rare directives to run my first one. I'm particularly excited that perhaps by the second anniversary of the game I will have been able to run enough rare armadas to have gotten an epic directive! I heard that if you get enough of those you have a chance to get blueprints for ships like the POWERFUL FERENGI D'VOR. I can't wait!!!!

@broken anchor you need just one person to be able to run armadas to help unlock the building for free for everyone else. I might be worth joining one that does do them get it unlocked for free then go back to your alliance and unlock them for your alliance for free
you can get it to lvl 10 without needed uc stuff
at lvl 10 you can have a total fleet size of 3 so that means 2 more can unlock it for free when you do a few with them then those 2 and your self can each do one more and add in more players to unlock. thats how i did it with my alliance when i was in it

@broken anchor if you are deadset on not helping out your alliance by going to another where you can earn the credits you need to start the build...you could as an alternative ask any other player who can do armadas if they might temporarily join your alliance to run a few armadas so that your group can earn credits and participate.
There are people out there that are nice enough to do such things.

Where do you find uncommon Armadas? They have all been replaced with epic or rare ones and I cant do them without doing uncommons first. Sorry but Im not paying for this 'content' as its just not worth the effort. Also, do we really need low level rare and epic targets? Most whales (people buying this rubbish) can pretty much handle harder targets and are not going to waste directives doing a level 23 Epic armada, when they can kill a level 35+ one for the same amount of directives.

Why can't they just bring the Armada Core event back? Everybody keeps telling me you'll rip somebody join your alliance or code you need somebody else's alliance to get the Armada Cores easier said than done. You guys may like alliance hopping but I don't know anybody who does. Armada events are hard when the game glitches. Here is a picture of an armada that I started agter another alliance had already started one. It is missing the sign and the circle. This is the second time the game has not shown me anything. Thats 200 directives I have wasted and lost the next tier rewards because of it.

I have 2000 directives; Uncommon Armadas are not spawning any where near quickly enough. They are also Broken Armadas which dont let you select them and Rare/Epic level 23s-27s that no one in their right mind would waste directives on at £50 a pop

You need to put an end to this armadas garbage. It’s the same thing every time: 3 hours in there are no more uncommons anywhere and everyone gets bored. By the end of the first day no one has any more rare or epic starts and armadas come to a grinding halt. 90% of the server ends up bored and frustrated for the rest of the event

@everyone with lv29 got faction prospectors (requiring next lvl dockyard) only in event store. Seems to me that Scopely it's overtly trying to force us in a gameplay style where we must buy every ship we cannot get in the past with full trolley of bucks or €, £,¥,₩, etc.
I'm very dissatisfacted! You Scopely are dictating how people have to play and forcing us to spend multiples of 109,9€ ti get useful factions missing ships. Know that my Wallet will be closed to Scopely effective immediatly!

How about making Armadas logical? The numbers assigned to them and their power levels are all over the place. Plus the ones that have been broken for a month and now the hostiles that are covering them. You had a year!

Hi, I am lvl 17 in game and noticed this new event pop up. At lvl 17 I cannot build the NS. Even if I upgraded my level to 18, I cannot build the NS becoz I don’t have enough BPs. And I don’t have enough BPs to get the Franklin event if I got the 45bps through this new event. My ships cannot take out lvl 26 hostiles. There are no options in the store to buy additional bps for the franklin. There is no option to get points if I build the Jelly. So what is the use of this event at my level?

Mayflower has been fixed, so it still is a viable ship from ops 26 to 31ish

Problem with the payflower (lego and d3 too to a lesser extent) is it only gets good around t7 which is a huge investment considering just 2 lvl's later sally, bortas and cent become available.
Also your kumari will carry you easily into the low 30's as long as you manage your faction rep....so there's that

That said, events do vary by player level so these may not show up for lower levels.

(1) either building/tiering up the Franklin (fair enough, even though I'm getting my first bps for this ship, this will be useful for other lvl 17s);

(3) killing lvl 26 hostiles (even with the Nov upgrade those grade 2 ships don't have a chance against them).

Because this event gated the content i decided to push ahead to lv19 but my ns can easely kill lv26 hostiles. I often make a round wacking feds.
As lv17 my t6 ns had about 140k power.

Even my tier 6 Jellyfish can only kill ~4 lvl 26 traders. Just do the math: that's 4 kill per hour when you include repair time. It would be a full time job to get even the first reward. 🤣

Just to say, I appreciate there not being a cool down on the holiday token recruit chests. In previous events it was too easy to get stuck with tokens, waiting for the next event they're valid for. The token conversion option is a nice touch too.

Instead of making the faction hunt events opt in, why not make them opt out? The amount of rep you gain is so small, that I can't imagine anyone is in the position where they are attacking faction hostiles and not wanting the rewards even if it means dealing with a tiny rep increase. Why not make the 99.9% choice default and let the 0.1% who would care to opt out?
In a similar note, if you can have an opt out, then I would also suggestion making the faction rep daily event default to your previous days choice. If I "join" faction rep today, automatically join me the next day unless some day I opt out, in which case default me to not joined.

Does scopely realize they doubled the amount of 32 swarms levels (32-33) have to do with this event over previous?
Used to be you got 2x points for 32s, but that has changed to 1x.
So 375 32s to kill to complete heroic. Rewards the same.
Guys in my alliance are holding at 31 because of the swarm grind.

there are really two problems here. 32s should be 2 points (or 3 even), and 35s are just WAY too tough for the franklin. If I can take out 30 32s per trip, I ought to be able to do 5 35s per trip.

We have latinum rush event. I am lvl 26 and on solo leaderboard i compete with lvl 28 and even 30+. Its not fair because they have access to beter miners and have more drydocks

Make events with winnable tokens or just call them what they are "things to make whales buy more packs so our profit goes up". Seriously it would be much more well received if there was honesty. (At least from myself that is)

I don't miss the old 7 day mining events that's for sure. I like the new one day lat rush. Plenty of lat nodes t get er done. Domination is easygoing tritanium, just upgrade one turret every day 😅

it would be pretty awesome if we had another event like trip around the sun where lvls dont matter. currently I have all of my active members doing it and we are second just off the 2 point kills. top spot is just over 101k and we are at 95k. really good idea and I hope we get more like this. most events there's no way we can win so whats the point eh

I am lv 40 and my weakest opponent Hostiles are op lv 40..3.3 M Power, lv 41 have over 4M Power. Had to invest over 10M Dilithium for Repairs now with my ISS Jellyfish... for the first Step of the Event, thats sick.

I really hate how this game gives me a red [1] on my recruit tab when the "Gold Trophy Recruit" section is on cooldown. I'd prefer that this were solved by removing the cooldown, but at least make it so that I don't get an indicator when I can't do anything about it.
