Lol yeah that's a joke as well. Some of those hostiles that we 157k before the update are now 3 times stronger. No mention in the update announcement that hostiles were going to be changed. Yet another way to get screwed with. These 3 ships were 157k before the update. Now they are over 400k. Hmmmm wonder why they were changed when that wasnt part of the mentioned update. Pffft.

@ornate trellis What a con, now the events are only aimed at high lvl players what hope is there for low level player to be able to compete , I'm lvl 20 and was lookng forward to competeing in the event only to find that it is out of range for all my ships to reach and out of power range for any of my ships to even stand a chance of competeing, well done for not thinking about every player and only catering for those who can afford to pay for the overpriced packs on offer...(very dissatisfied)

I would urge every player on every server to stop buying packs and not to compete in any event until a fairer and more sensibly priced system is put in place

this is just the very beginning of faction wars, and more similar events will take place down the line (by this time, surely you'll be entitled!)

in the meantime the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and the lower level players still don't get a chance to win the mayflower or d3 ect.., we have to content ourselves with a jellyfish.

How about an event for lvl1 -lvl20 to win one of the epic ships available this would allow the lower levels to fly around the galaxy in a 140k power ship instead of having to run and hide in a 12k jellyfish.

lower the level so every player is entitled to at least a little bit of the action, you have to remember that the starting power is minimum for that type and officer upgrades, base research etc.. will be the only difference that should be the way in which a player progresses.

I propose a more tiered structure for the leagues with a starting point at lvl15. league (5) lvl 15 -lvl 20 league (4) lvl 21 - lvl 25 league (3) lvl 26 - lvl 30 league (2) lvl 31 - lvl -35 league (1) lvl 36+

This faction event needs to be tweaked down a little. Lower the Boss and Officer ship levels down. The majority players are unable to tackle such feets. 1m power housed faction ships is just beyond insane. The servers are still young.

Have you thought about tying the level of the ship to the shipyard instead of being able to actually build the ship to the shipyard? That way even if lower level players do get access they can still build it just not to its full potential?

I get that u folks need to earn money but why put up an unachievable event. I can’t even make ops 20 b4 shipyard and that ain’t happening anytime soon. I’m using a 23k Turas I’m level 19 and I’m killing level 20-21 romulans takes about 20 minutes to repair my ship and I kill about 25 in a go. And what I get in loot from there covers my repair costs

Calling the three new ships INTRODUCTORY is a bold face lie.... haveing the tool tip in games saying or buy them from the faction store also not accurate when you cant. An event to unlock is fine.
AS of this point these ships are EXCLUSIVE not INTRODUCTORY...
Introductory means the first to get you started not to maybe 9 people on the server. And only if they are able to consistantly beat everyone else.
This is stupid...
The top 9 guys who can win 3 days in a row against everyone else get rewarded with more ability to beat those they already beat.

Does anyone know what happened with the jellyfish offer? I had three this morning, the full ship, a partial pack and an upgrade pack, but they're not there now. I tried to buy the partial pack, but as I was on a train it kept throwing me out, so I planned to get it later and when I returned all three were gone. Has that happened to anyone else?

I stopped playing this event when a few hours in I was attacked not by a Klingon Commander but a super high level Mayflower. Not worth the cost to try to damage 2 Million plus power ships even with an entire fleet. What makes this really aggravating is that our Alliance won the mining event and even with thousands of 3 star crystals could not generate a single rare crystal in three weeks, can't grow them, can't refine them, can't buy them. Why bother with them?

Still need to urge everyone not to spend money on packs until the Devs take notice and make the game fairer across the board for players who pay and those who aren't rolling in cash.. Anyone who pays cash for packs should instantly become VIP and vip's shouldn't be able to attack non vip's

The RSS Token intro period was too short and not announced. Lots of people feel jipped. That's not cool. It was a great program, but those who missed it are now stuck. Also, I really like how it ended shortly before the race to level 20 that have you 2m parsteel. Stay classy Scopley.

The time window for these events make me mad. Because of the refinery's cooldown, how can you refine enough ressources to get ops 20 when you just just got ops 19 ...

@opal stump yup you do, but organise a group to do it, or just follow on after some big guys hair hit and hit right after them when the hostiles shields are down, and you get more damage points, my ship above gets points like the hit above, but hit loses effectiveness on the higher shield,

Also @opal stump another tip is when tapping the hostile to get the info box up, under the profile@pic of the hostile, it shows the shield and health so you can see which one has been hit without having to scan them all @opal stump

It was worth it for a bit of fun, I don’t normally play it like this with the big boys, but I liked it and managed to be at 7th at te moment on the leaderboard, but tag was using 3 ship, a lot of rss for repairs and latnium. And speed ups, I only bought one $89 ship pack, and got a reasonable amount 😂

Not something I would do a lot, but it was nice to be able to fly around with the lvl 29ers, and a few others 😃

This whole event has ruined the game on my server there is talk from 7 guilds of 60 members each about leaving the game. As it is they are thinking 1 week to see if they get rewarded from scoply in a way they cant fight back. If not they are gone. This would leave my server with a 10 percent active population. And what are going to do about resources being so hard to get?

One glitch that I've seen over the past 72 hours is score not updating on player profile page. How is it possible to get literally a hundred chests from killing hostiles and not see those kills reflected? After days of playing, dumb a$$ that I am I took time off for this event, and get 9 pieces of the Mayflower while literally attacking both Elites and command ships, while I am seeing 1M point ships killing off miners needed to do the dailies. Losing people in the Alliances left and right. Guess Scopely found a way to stop the lag, have the players quit.

@ornate trellis I just want to a little feed back on the last faction events. I really enjoyed myself and the rewards felt rewarding. Hopefully events going forward will continue to provide more than parasteel and ore. My only complaint is that the 10M top rank in the supremacy events was a little beyond the reach of all but the top 1% of players. Other than that, good job.

@atomic bronze a lot of that player who used that glitch invest the token in crews or ships and spend money so they wont do anything as always. As long a few people spend enough money they wont care about that they killing the game. A lot people stopp playing as there were a lot klingon player with total over powerd ships and crews. To get 20k fraction credits to buy a uss saladin it just takes 266 days getting 90 credits per day from daily 🤣😂🤣

I killed sooooo many redz in this event to get the 10 million points i think i need a psychologist to see if i migh of went insane, killed lvl 22-24 for 6-8 hours(and lots of speed ups for repairs) with 2 ships none stop to do it...if i kill 1 more red triangle i will comit Seppuku hahahaha

I did get to 10M one of the five days. Took me 10 hours of grinding. I also did it for the uncommons. I think the new ships are out of reach for 95%-99% of the player base build wise, upgrade wise and repair cost wise.

i do not farm/attack them, the only reason i killed 2 was to see if it was worth to do for points during the events....it was not as repair take 1 hours and 30 minute or so and the ocst of repair are crazy so it was only a test and i dont plan on killing them to find out, at least not yet

Then my advice is dont bother with the mayflower unless you also intended to upgrade it to tier 5 which will probbaly be about 800... kumari at 280 is a great ship. Save your money

I got rewards for first one but not the second one, despite the timer reaching zero, rewards being handed out, and a fresh event starting with everyone at 0 points. I'm one of the guys who made it up to 10 millions grinding twice. It was extremely long and painful both times (more than ten full hours each time). At the end the so-desired uncommon g3 ress feel very bitter in comparison to the lost night of sleep. I suppose this reward was intended only for the most hardcore gamers out there, I just wanted to say that is certainly how it felt. I probably wouldn't do it again. In all fairness the other event was much more doable and rewarded me 5 times more.

@sleek zealot 52k kehra hitting 22-23-24 hostiles on Posel (23). Staying focused on this game grinding for 10 hours doesn't feel like reasonable gaming to me. I received 23 uncommon g3 crystals as reward for that, and I strongly feel like that kind of effort deserved a lot more than that (say like tenfold).

I did at first actually. It was not quicker because that got me repairs above 5 mins and I then had to burn boosters (of which I had plenty but not enough for such a long event) to avoid the unbearable cooldowns in my hours-long streak. You'll probably tell me I could have avoided that with the right bridge crew, which I have tried too. That did the trick but at the same time worsened the huge tritanium sink that grinding was. Yeah there was a sizeable tritanium reward at 1 million, which was generous when you stopped right there actually. But no tritanium as refund for the ultimate reward which costed me like 3 times as much in repairs, each time

No problem mate, thanks for listening to this feedback. I guess a nice in-between tier (like 5 millions) would have been a good compromise. I totally understand I was not powerful enough to achieve the top reward in good conditions, and it is nobody's fault really (ironically enough I am now, thanks to these events mostly). There are a lot of players more underpowered than I was on my server, I have seen some of them trying to do the same and eventually giving up. Not sure they are going to give any feedback, so I figured I might as well do it.

@ornate trellis Just before the next event starts I'd like to say I enjoyed the last bunch. I was level 17 at the start so I got the Dominion event that allowed me to finish the Jellyfish. I also got to do the faction events. I managed to pick up 5 Mayflower blueprints from the 'daily' which I'm happy with as I'm a long way from level 26 anyway.
I managed to rank top 100 in the 'monthly'. I thought I was getting G2 uncommon but I'm sure I'll be glad it's G3 later on! All without spending a thing. I was kept busy and given achievable goals.
Downsides were that I was eligible for the 'Build the Jellyfish' event at the start but I couldn't get the blueprints without building Ops 18 to progress in the Dominion event at which point the event disappeared. I think it would have been fair to let me complete that event since I was eligible at the start.
Also, I'm not sure the average score was the best measure to compare factions. If one faction had more lower level players like me that would drag them down. I agree that just totaling the scores wouldn't be much better and I can't suggest a better option (I'm sure the Feds would still lose anyway!). With data to hand, maybe the event planners might be able to find a better balance.
That said, I'm still happy overall. Got some Moreau shards as a consolation prize and the Spock shards for the anniversary of Nimoy's passing were very welcome.

I didn't aska single thing about their accounts and the response doesn't clarify anything. These "runarounds" are what frustrate the playerbase.

Doing another mining event before fixing broken mining nodes was really not the best idea in the world. There's more high levels that can put 4 ships on G3 mining nodes than there are nodes for anyone under level 24 odd - it's another weekend when anyone that isn't p2w can't even complete their dailies, let alone compete in the event.

It was several people in my alliance who got surprised and disappointed in the Jellyfish event the 22nd of February. Many of us used the Race to Operation 20 event, the day before, to leveled up to 18... And then we where unable to get the Jellyfish event as it is apperently level 10-17. Could you write so in the event notification that pops up when we start the game? All it sais there is 10+.

The same problem also appeared for the dominion and other faction events for some of us, as we get the notifications but not the events.

The timing of this event was actually quite lucky. My Envoy is just now ready to tier up and I can't complete my faction mining dailies until the event ends due to all the node warfare. Perfect time for it to be out of commission.

Just want to say that the mining solo event is perfectly balanced for a lvl 21 (idk if the rate changes for different levels).

They are really being idiots in the responses. They need to stop with the canned responses and actually find out what’s really going on before responding to the player

Why is support being idiotic? Because oa level 22 has it, but then a level 29 does not, and then another level 22 does not, but a level 30 does have it.. And when you explain this to them, they respond with: due to privacy issues we cannot talk about another player’s account

They were never asked to divulge anything from another player’s account

You really need to fire this company and hire a better one… Better yet, your developers need to figure out how to properly program an event or maybe fix bugs before doing new events/content

It makes no sense to me to participate in any of this if I'm not being given resources commensurate with my level of play and what I contribute to my team's overall win. Most other team members have the same concerns. Can we fix it where the higher level team members that epxend effort to win events are getting G3 resources in stead of G2? That would be fair.

Love the mining event. Had some great agreements on the server and allowed me to mine ore I usually don't go for, since I focus on my two daily ore types.
Also the rewards are nice. Lot of resources and tokens! Awesome way to keep some resources safe for when it's required.
We need more of these. Maybe with 1m Dilithium tokens? 😒

@ornate trellis that mining event you announced for everyone. Many servers didn’t get it. Some servers got it , but only some people. Support claims it was a test event limited to certain servers or people

If support was wrong, people need some compensation for not getting the event. It had fantastic rewards a lot of people were screwed out of it.
If support is correct, then you announced the event wrong. If it is a limited event that’s limited to a select server group, or people, you need to make that VERY clear when announcing events like that. You announced it as if it were for EVERYONE.
If support was wrong, there needs to be better communication between scopely/digit and the 3rd party support company. Either way, this should happen anyway because many times support doesn’t know what they’re talking about

about 40% of my server got the event. I’m lv 29. Some lv 30s got it, some 22s got it. It appeared random who got it and didn’t. Reinstalling the game and clearing localization cache was no help. All support told me is that “ you have not progressed far enough in the game to qualify for the event.” What kind of asinine response is that? That was after I told them people lower level than me had it. It was like talking to a brick wall – they were really utterly clueless. They gave the same crazy response to everybody that sent them in support tickets over the weekend. They told everybody, no matter what their level, that they had not progressed enough to qualify for the event. Then at some point, they changed their, tune and said it was only to a select group of servers.

When the event started I calculated my Envoy would have needed to mine G2 for almost 90 hours to complete the solo.
If I'd also ran two Fortunates and somehow not been attacked constantly for mine space I might just have made it.
As for the prizes, the token would have been nice if it had been achievable and the plain resources might have been okay if it wasn't for the trade off.
Since G3 mining has been impossible for the whole event I've been unable to complete the faction mining dailies. Which means I've missed out on those rewards. So I've lost out on reputation, some good recruit tokens (premium, ultra and faction) as well as shields and other stuff to win resources that mostly just put a bigger target on my back.
And aside from the parsteel (which I don't really need) I'd get more tritanium and dilithium from three days of dailies than the solo.
Meanwhile, the big alliances get the good stuff.

I can understand if you don’t have an answer right now, but a bunch of us would like to know somebody’s at least looking into it – so far it’s been radio silence from everybody here on Discord @ornate trellis

@gilded edge I don’t think they care about free players. Higher-level players don’t need them because they never have anything on their base to raid and usually you can’t get much off their miners.

But the way the game is designed free players contribute absolutely nothing to the economy

Don’t give me wrong, I’m not bashing on free players, right now free players will be completely screwed once they hit level 25, and it will take a free player about six months to hit level 26. There is basically no game economy. You can’t mine fast enough, and you can’t refine fast enough

And even if you spend $200 a month on this game, it’s not enough past level 25. That’s crazy. I know of no other game that requires thousands of dollars a month that you have to shell out to survive or properly progress

Right now, every free player could quit the game, and it wouldn’t really make a difference because there is no game economy

Actually I would really love to get the jellyfish back as I was 20 blueprints short for constructing one. But then I needed to level up for our war between alliances and missed the opportunity to get it again. So since the grade 3 ships are way stronger than the jellyfish, then why shouldn't the jellyfish be available for players above level 17 as well ?

why give an event that wants us to build and research but not have any indication as to what each item will contribute to your event total? Each building and Research item needs to show what will be added to your total so that you can concentrate on what will give you a better chance of getting through the event.

Why is the last tier jump so high, I got to the 275k one, but the last one is a whopping 1.14M - that is 4 times what I have already reached, in a week long event where most items to build or research are 2+days and I have no clue what it will do to my total to know if I will actually make that last one.

Is there a weight given to a certain research or building that I do not know about for these types of events?

@ancient sonnet We don't know when the event will be. (Mostlikely it will be monthly so end of march/start of april)

As for the event rep. Most people got it from the top tier of the event. Soooo there wasn't a minimum entry per say. But you needed to be at least level 21 to participate.

@pale birch it depends on player history (we think purchase history) so some will get some variety and others will not. The 85 day clock is time remaining to use so if you should decide to purchase, buy it with 30 days left, however the sale is for 6 more days so unsure if there will be more. The packs match the chests so if you can't see it you cannot buy it, probably till you make a $20 purchase minimum

A couple of the alliances on our server have found a bug with the current event. They leave their alliance and then rejoin complete an research or ship xp or something to gain points and it gives the alliance 10% of the points that the player gained before.

They leave and speed a research or upgrade and they get the points of the upgrade and 10%of what they had previously been awarded for other upgrades.

@sleek zealotOk so your in your alliance and you are levelling up buildings completing research using your ship xp to level ships up using officer xp to level officers up and collecting points for it. After a few days you leave the alliance and then rejoin and complete one of the above items. You get the points for what ever you completed plus 10% of the points you collected while in the alliance originally. All players in the alliance can do this over and over getting your alliance more points for the event and pushing your ranking in the event up higher then it should be

As it's almost over it's time for my feedback on the solo event. As a level 18 it was a pretty easy one. Natural progression of research and building allowed me to finish with over 5 days to spare and gave a good top prize, no spending required. If it wasn't such a passive event I might have been bothered by finishing so early but as it was I'm happy enough.

i'm looking forward to earning blueprints from events, give us lower level players more chances to earn even 1-10 blueprints in each event. Don't just award blueprints to the higher level players who already have a ton of high level ships that they keep punishing us with. They come out top in every event and get stronger while we have to fight tooth and nail for scraps at the bottom while winning nothing. That discourages a lot of people to even try playing the events and the game in general.

7 hour round need to hit 160lvl32+ and the tri rewards is about a 1/3 of what it will cost never mind the speed ups etc need to repair ships, for 160 trophies. ah yeah good luck with that lads not a hope in hell, last version of this event was better achievable rewards with effort so worth doing for the fun of the leader-board this version is just designed to cost the player res #OptOut

Seriously, who the fck comes up with these rewards? They have:

A. Clearly never played the game
B. Have no idea how much effort is involved or cost required to achieve the targets
C. Think their customers must all be stupid

3000 is near impossible in 8h for most people, and the rewards aren't worth the grind

shame is the fiasco of this event hides the fact that they did a nice thing by giving us a way to redeem our old (and new if the event were feasible) golden alliance tokens by recruiting

I am basically able to make three multipull of 5 premium recruits with mine, so basically free 2250 premium recruit tokens 😃

It's fair to point out that the intent here is not necessarily to let everyone complete the event to it's fullest. If you can get something, that's better than nothing. As players, or payers as it were, we're not entitled to anything. This is an event, not a hand-out. That said.... my thumbs hurt but i'm 4240/5000 pts.
