Just to summarize and resume. I tried at beginning of the event to say, that scopley please make it possible to reach. We are 78 member in Allianz, actually Latin rush 63 member took part, and in key mission event 46 different member took a key. So we have rate of 59% of the whole ally or 73% of the active part, that have a access to web store. What I think is good rate. We always tell our member, that if they buy anything do in the browser shop! It is legit that scopley what’s to promote this way, everything ok. BUT every event, every single officer shard is a more or less small/big part of the puzzle to have success in game. And this event was impossible from beginning. Even, all 63 was collecting the mission keys every day, it would very close. Only 3 player needed, which don’t collect the daily key. LINK SUCH EVENT TO THE ALLIANCE LEVEL. Scopley punish the active players with unrealistic goals. Thx for attention. And the argument, that we have the chance to collect it 5 time is BS, active players collect it in the morning, with Dailys.

They are not based on the tier you should have. I am Tier 3, which is max for my level and I have to do 218 lvl 36.

It's because they assume, that one month after it's release, your Talios is at the level they deem it should be based on your Ops. For me, that means my T5 Talios should be between T10 or T11, depending on where the ops lock is for me.

It's terrible design, and forces you to either not think about doing the event, or spend hundreds.

Rescue Data is NOT a free to play event, and should be properly branded as Heroic, because it's impossible to complete without spending on your Talios (which I've done - but not nearly to the level that Scopely demands for the event).

Heroic implies you have a credit card and can bravely use it, risking the wrath of your wife. However, you cannot spend to finish this event. LOL - I am level locked and fully upgraded at T3. I did it with 3 tokens vs 44's, but I needed the probes. For a one off event, the milestones were way too high. Glad then adjusted it down.

Y'all need to change the scoring to be more linear. Every borg level increases the points by 2.6181 times. You already do it for 25-29 and 31-33. But lvl 30s were added later and shoehorned in, and 36+ uses 2.5x scaling instead of 2.6181, and you don't take into account the missing borg levels between 33 and 36 (or the ones at 39, or at 41, etc)

Even with the adjustment to the Rescue Data - SMS there is no way I can complete it as a f2p player. I did the math and with my Tier 5, level 25 ViDar I can destroy 14 level 30 probes & only 5 level 32 probes. Specifically, the frustration here seems to be because scores seem to be based on the assumption that your Vi'Dar has been tiered up once per OPS level from 25, and if you're behind on that slightly, it burns tons of transwarp tokens, and if you're behind significantly, there is literally nothing you can do about it. Most other events just take a bit more time or effort if you're behind - if you don't have a Stella or it's behind, the eclipse events can be done by armadas or just several repairs, using a different ship if necessary, as one example. But because the Borg objectives take place in token space against an enemy you can only really fight in one ship, there is no "longer way" available.
To alleviate this, I would suggest either finding a way to tie the event to Vi'Dar tier instead of OPS level, or giving it some alternative method of completion than entering Borg token space.

Nah, according to the reds, if you hold your nose and spin in a circle you can get the first tier for free. (Ie time you x2 mantis pulls, daily pulls and daily reward just perfectly over three days, then you’ll hear it is “heroic” and that means no soup for f2p ;-).

Yet another pvp event that fizzled - on my server at least. No one really showed up looking to test their battle mettle. Instead, it was a flock of 2 and 3 star ships, just trading kills with one another for the points. Players left their main battleships at home. That’s not pvp…. That’s just point farming.

you can tell me all you want that PVP is the greatest... but there are people that like it and those that dont. and the fact that theres an event designed around it where you dont get any points to lose, makes people bring in baby ships, and just farm the points with HFs to complete the event.

P.S. a lot of those same people that love PVP on my server seem to love killing off baby miners with their large ships and grand crewing and think that is great fun too (but is more like getting cheap points).

More than a few people in my alliance, including myself, did not finish the battle pass overflow event despite completing the battle pass events every day. Was there a scoring issue on one day? Most of us are missing it by 15K exactly which is usually one day's event. Did one day not score correctly due to lag or..? I usually do them first thing everyday right at noon.

So I'm told that certain people qualify for the Military Supremacy Event, and others do not, and that there is no specific reasoning provided as to what the criteria are. Feedback here is pretty simple: please provide the reason why someone does or does not qualify for the event. 2. Unrealistic Milestones (Event is not 'Heroic', it's 'Not Fun');
3. Randomly placed on the calendar;
4. Balanced based on a leaderboard.

'Heroic' events should have 'Heroic Payouts'. If your going to design a 'Heroic' event make it worth it. This is just pathetic.

Who ever “asked” for a $100 pack to level a building from 22 to 25? Or better, I can buy my limit of 2 $100 packs and take that building all the way up to 27…. If this company in any way possible values it’s customers, then they need to rethink this. As a recap, you broke incursions, the only source in game to acquire subspace relays. So to fix your issue, you are going to charge your customer base up to $200 for minimal progress that we should be able to achieve for free if your “feature” was working properly. How about you just take the loss, and every month give all players the equivalent of 50% of all total rewards that could have been obtainable (SMS and SLBs) had your feature worked properly. Maybe, just maybe, that would drive you to fix something that has been broken for multiple months now… And do not think we have forgotten about the Mantis compensation you promised for the 3 months your paid feature did not function properly.

On paper the event is a good twist on the normal grind it till you die mentality and as an April Fools I can get behind it, but considering that we just had CoW which is 3 days of major grinding for horrible rewards, currently running APEX which again is grind heavy and we know Faction Hunt starts on Sunday which will be 2 more days of heavy grinding, there's already a huge HUGE amount of grinding over such a short period and repair costs just keep adding up, timing is everythign with these events and especially when you're trying something new, I like the idea, execution kinda fell flat, especially considering nobody knew anything about this event until it was launched, sounds like a good time to just catch up on iso and data mining. I've hit hostile limit the last 5 days straight rep grinding, so to do that then have to sit and go pvp to undo all the damage I did, just pointless.

All of the hull health boosts from research and buildings have been broken for a long time.

This has been reported on djz stream quite a few times.

Also, keep in mind that particular projectile should only be a net change of around 2% for a lvl 40 player

This event is a fun attempt at trying to help out smaller alliances, but I think it misses the mark. The goal to be ranked 23-27 at the end of it is too big a pain in the butt to bother with for the crappy rewards. Odo in Bucket hailing frequency, Odo's Bucket frame, an avatar with what is that a bear? dog? wearing a jester hat.

My whole alliance of 68 does not care.

Looking at the leaderboard, none of the alliances on my server that are usually in the top five are in the 23-27 range. So, either they don't care about the rewards for this event, like my alliance, or they don't understand what they were supposed to do.

Like the scoring mechanic on the Stuck in the Middle event. Rewards are kind of silly, but it took more strategizing and communication as an alliance than most events too, and smaller alliances had a chance. I saw one big alliance work their score down a lot, so it is doable, and smaller alliances coordinate their grind to place where they wanted. Credit to game design for trying something different.
One suggestion: since it does mean limiting pve, it would be better to make this a one-day event rather than two.

Didn't like the premise of the Q event pressuring players to lower their activity during the weekend for mantis/borg/faction grind, when a lot of players use the weekend to catch up on this game's insane grind. This event made those players feel bad for scoring. The event acts against the flow of the game, which is interesting, but ultimately was a fail on implementation and event scheduling, in my opinion.

Think you misunderstood the event. There was no pressure to lower activity. Perhaps balance a little. Anyone could make 1 PvP kill for every 5 PvE kill and have a net zero effect on Alliance positioned in the middle standings. Tell me you were whooshed, by the event nuances without telling me you were whooshed. The event didn’t encourage you to not play, it encouraged vigorous more precise team play. Goal was to place precisely at rank 23-27. There was a +1 rank component and a -5 component. Team had to target either PvP or PvE to rank up or down for maximum rewards. Alliances that got it had insane play at end of event to get the right number of + or - points. Don’t worry, there were a lot of April Fools that didn’t get it. But it was intended as a riddle and unique. Hence the name and associated dialog.

Once Scopley listens to the massess and equalizes the PVP, then and only then will Scopley see participation rise and subsequent packs purchased. I thought it was different fun and cheeky. Better then a rush to the top dominated by whales. Q is a trickster, and likes riddles… So fit pretty well with April Fools. The team coordination was a good element. Rewards were meh, but probably biased because our team did place for top rewards and our server had a crazy rush to the middle. In end only 5pts separated the placing 5 and it was 1.5hrs if insanity.

While this opinion may hold for most events…spending money or relative strength meant nothing for this event. It was only 1 PvP kill for 5 PvE to maintain one’s middle standing. Pretty much anyone can fit in an OPC survey kill every once in a while…. Only 5 teams were going to get so so rewards… so wasn’t like you gained or lost anything. Just some added fun if you chose. And besides if you coordinated with your alliance lower lvls could take the PvP wins if needed. Was totally outside the normal pay to win box.

I would have agreed with you if the pvp banded was even remotely fair. As the game stands now, whales with g5 ships just swoop in and kill anything in sight. That equals a big HELL NOPE! There is absolutely no point in trying. If the whales want to play, they should have to scale down to the same ship grade. (G3 vs G3, G4 vs G4, G5 vs G5). Maybe then they might actually do something. It’s not like their research shouldn’t win it for them, (you know if they actually did more than get big ships and all 😋)

Our alliance makeup may have helped. Enough in the lower tier that weren’t high enough to be threatened by whales. I can see that being a problem for alliances that were weighted towards being threatened by whales but not whaleish enough. Our diversity in player level may have been an advantage.

We have 3 super fleets that the mid fleets lost their whales to after TC. They have forced a situation much like life. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. 🤷‍♂️. Sorry but making the Titan A another support ship with little to no use in the game, is sad. We could have done better than that. I have 2 cerritos and 1 defiant, what do I need the Titan for if most people don’t even have it and therefore the respective research. Scrap that idea and come up with a real blaster for this ship. Make it a powerful warship as its designed for and eg give it the ability to cause HB, burning etc on all supported ships. That’s useful but not this research specific boost no one will have for at least 100 days. Boo inventive for me to buy it.

Here's an idea. Keep scoring separate for those that DONT purchase the Titan from those that do. This way, f2p players can have some honest & fun competition with each other. In our server 122 some people scored already 500k in the titan slb in less than 24h. Even considering bots, and hostile kill limit something seems broken. And autofarm score for some people and not for others...

The just "kill hostiles" SLB with no scoring outside of "buffed or not" - no cares for type of ship or level of ship - is horrifically boring and frustrating, especially as once you blow past the 2k kill count there's no point in caring at all what you hit because the rewards don't matter and everything is 1 point. Please go back to events with some restrictions or rewards for anything other than 1 kill = 1 point so that it matters at all what you're doing. Also, as someone who tends to park ships in hostile space for events like this, the fact that it does score for wins you didn't initiate also encourages frustrating gameplay - I'd like to actually have ships mining during these events, but that misses out 60 kills/dock/hour and that matters.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm now paired pretty regularly with the whale 60s that have ships that can eat the highest solomadas for breakfast. Like, they SERIOUSLY need to keep the brackets capped at one Ops below the next rank of ship unlocks (34-41, 42-45, 46-49, 50-52, etc), because it's extremely unfair to pair everyone with those that have access to bigger ships, imo.

Am I the only one that finds it odd that there is a “recruit Uhura and Ortegas” ALB event that doesn’t give you any way to recruit those officers? The shards for them aren’t a reward and they aren’t in the events store to get with the currency that is the reward. They should have called it the “recruit Strike Team” event just to get even more buzz. So sorry this is a feedback channel. My feedback is please if you call an event “recruit xyz” you should be able to recruit shards for that officer as part of that event

well that is great for. you.. if lvl 52s would have got it done in a short amount of time, I could have done with my 3* epics.
Where I need to go the disco can’t make it. This is the problem when you speak above your ops level. Our smaller players were not having any problems. Our OPs 54-59 players were the ones struggling to get these done. Requiring 200-300 reds to complete the event. If you had the appropriate G5 ships, one to two hulls with mobs 57+ 20-50 mobs to complete.

Take Control SLB ops bracket! Why are 56+ and 55 throwing together in one bracket. Don't divide in ops 55+ because it the middle of 50s.It Make no sense. 56+ have g5 rare ship and 55 don't have one! These events have, to my recollection, always had 3* materials in them. They are essential for meeting the RIDICULOUS upgrade requirements for faction ships. 8400 Picard Coins only buys 2 packs of uncommon 3* in the event store, which is 26 total unc ore.

This is a waste of tickets. Why bother doing the event when the picard coins don't align with what the ticketed events usually offer.

Historically ticket event during event store months give out event store currency and as discussed before event store currency is valuable only for rare items that can’t be gained f2p easy in game. They are horrible for materials or resources.

You can always choose to skip the ticket events if you wish and save them up for more valuable events

Event Tickets: The event tickets during an event store are terrible. If i spent the coins on mats, its about 1/50 of the normal mats and thst still doesnt include par, dilithium, or trit. Having only brackets for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, then 4-10th, 11-25th doesn't motivate a lot of players, as the top 3 alliances on most servers are normally whale/hardcore alliances which other alliances can't compete with, so there's no reason for alliances ranked 4-10th to compete much if at all, and alliances 11+ on most servers are extremely small. Adding more brackets will add more incentive for the large/medium size casual alliances to compete more between themselves.

As such it should not have been in the ‘Gift’ section, but in the ‘Event Store’ to prevent confusion and inadvertent purchase. I have requested a refund to the 100,000 Picard tokens as I would not have made the purchase of this pack from the Event Store and would recommend all players similarly affected to raise a ticket with Scopely. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated

a 5m node of 4* from token space is worth 125m points, its quite easy if you're in the low 40s and have the warp range to do so. a 1m node in 3* lucrative is 15m, again very easy to do in the upper 20s and low 30s if you plan ahead.

you have to choose a low level system: then send your discovery, use summon call, kill 54 hostiles and use again discovery ability. a system with a player station is better than another one because you can save some micelium

Using a Cerritos to autofarm in Klingon space works for the intercept event.

It doesn't (nor have I found another ship that does) work to autofarm for the Explorer and Battleship event. 🤷

I love the company shills who say this is a “fine pvp” game. This game’s pvp is BASIC. (It is a number crunch and nothing more, you pay for your pvp with time and money) Folks who think this is fine pvp probably wouldn’t last to long in a real pvp game where their wallet didn’t make up for the absolute lack of skill 🙄 (come play CS:GO or StarCraft if you want real pvp 😉)
