So this game is just getting worse the higher you go. My ship upgrades now each require about 1000 unc chrystal/gas/ore. Just done a double refine on each of these this morning and the only unc I got was 3 unc chrystal... at this rate it might just take around a year to get enough for upgrading 1 weapon on my Saladin... Think its time to call it a day, the fun has absolutely gone and replaced more and more by anger every day.

People will say that there are 12 hour shields in the alliance store, but not everyone has access to 100 Alliance Credits daily. There are members of non-top 3 alliances that have a bunch of resources, forcing them to buy their shields when they do not have those credits basically says you do not care about those player's well being.

And B) when choosing storyline locations for event based quests, don't select 45 warp systems players lower than 28 have absolutely no chance to get to

Dear Scopely Due to the change going on in the world. Could it be Great That Scopely can put in a system where you get sick "Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)" That the shields stay on and protect the base until your healthy to come back and play. If it more then a year then it removed from the game? Maybe some doctor letter or some type of hospital or info that say the player has it or works around the virus. Some type of system Like that. It would be great if the Transwarp Cells to access Borg systems were made available every 12 hours instead of every 24 hours and remove the 8 units cap (its absolutely stupid to put a storage cap). With all of this Borg missions and Borg officer events the Cells are becoming even rarer than Uncommon refinery drops.

I kinda like the cap, it makes the leaderboard events a little more fair because no one can hoard tokens. It's obviously designed to encourage paying to upgrade your vidar, but it's still not bad.

The packs are losing any kind of interest for me as their value at lvl 35 is so low that even spending 100$ I cannot upgrade a single weapon or building. This month I will not buy the month elite pack, the rationale is pretty simple. Its uncommon and rare content is about 10 days of refinery. The materials are a joke: tritanium and Dilithium are hardly present at all and Parsteel is there but then again in a quantity that I can get within a week. I see increased value packs, but you would have to change by an order of magnitude to make me interested in those packs.

I have mentioned it a few times, and sent messages to support regarding this, it is quite arrogant to dictate a cost spend to players without knowing their financial situation. Because I only have the high end packs available and a few medium ones, I have stopped spending unless I see the 34.99 option, like I did with the Borg Premium pack. Hello, I would like to suggest an increase in the number of G3 node systems, even if it is temporary, until global quarantine ends. We are seeing record lows in node availability, and droves of miners in waiting just idling in each system, hoping to be quick enough to snag a node that frees up. We are also seeing ROE breaking left and right due to the influx of players online at all times of the day. We can repurpose some of the lower level systems that essentially are empty on any server more than 4 months old. This can be temporary, and when quarantines start to end you can implement something that when a node in those older systems gets depleted, it refreshes back as a Parsteel/Tritanium node or whatnot.

Just some feedback on what is called “support”. It seems the name refers to what the okayers have to do, to support behaviour that should not be displayed for a support organisation.
I filed an issue about a bug that exists already for months. After their standard reply that doesn’t say a thing (rest assured, it’s been forwarded, can’t give a date when it will be fixed), which in itself is just nonsense and makes me think support thinks we are all stupid, the case was closed, not even giving me the chance to say that, as usual, they disn’t look at all the information I provided and completely misunderstand the issue, also as per the usual flow of issues.
I guess what I’m saying is your support is lacking in so many ways and needs to be fixed.

@dusk tulip It's not Borg missions you need to do to earn more bps, it's the Borg point earning events, like Battle for Glory which is going on now. If you only have 5 Vi'dar bps I'm gonna guess you're pretty new to the game and only started recently? You're unfortunately not gonna be able to earn enough bps to get a full Vi'dar now, you'd have to wait until the event rolls around again, unless you're willing to pay for one.

Fix your stupid game. Enough is enough. We invest in this game and for what. So it can continually screw up whether it be with the chat or in game issues. I am sick and tired of attacking a node with a player on it and the game doesn't attack and the ship just keeps going back and forth and not attacking and the player being attacked just resets the node.
I will be not investing money in your game no more. People shouldn't invest in a game where the game masters can't even keep the game from messing up continually.

I just want them to actually deliver what they promise. Before the server transfer tokens there was just rumors and talk. We lived with that for months. Now, they announce both server transfers and invites but never specify why a server won't be available. In addition, there's a level cap at 12, a level most players speed right past. No one in my group has reached it because I've told them not to play and invest any effort just in case they never allow us to transfer accounts.
We were the fortunate ones and now I'm here as the envoy to a trekky family trying to play on the same server.
I'm the only one who's put money and time into the game, so I'm locked into Server 21. If I could move, it'd be hard for me to abandon my friends on 21. And there are some servers that are quite frankly DEAD. Server 40 and 39 and 27 I've heard has alliances that say nothing for months.
I have a family member on 29 I think who I sent an invite to and he's the only level 1 in an ocean of Level 27+ players, so it's hard for me to believe this is about balance or fairness. Besides there's no way to justify that when a level 43 can wipe out level 30s without limit.

Here's my feedback - How are you going to run a recruitment promotion, touting the new server transfer feature, and then not allow all servers the ability to transfer? I play on server 20 and I'd like to recruit people but one recruit I have is on server 8 and they haven't been given the ability to transfer (even though they're on the list for people to transfer TO) and another recruit I have can't come to server 20 with me because for some reason 20 is "unavailable" with no specific reason given as to why or when it will become available. I also have other people who I recruited to the game a while ago and they're on various servers but they've pretty much stopped playing because they couldn't get to server 20 with me. Fix this. Please.

@slim knot you and I share the same situation. @merry current I've tried a few times and have had others try and it's impossible so far. But I will be the first to admit that I'm not the brightest at "hacking" a game or whatever. By that, I mean I am sure I am missing something or maybe we are doing something wrong. I would've hoped it was as straight forward as the directions say.
We've tried both existing players and new players. New players with iOS and Android. Old players who ditched their accounts completely (by making new Apple IDs and Google accounts) and still nothing. So far, the only thing we can do is invite them into the game. Two of them ended up on Server 41 I think, and one even spent about $40 to coax the game into giving me a reward.
I've gotten NOTHING yet.
So basically, this is a blatant rip-off. I was never one to complain too much about the way scopely does things, but this is about as low as scopely could go. Over a year of wanting to play the game with friends and this server transfer is by far the lamest execution I've ever seen.
Again, I know the mods don't have much sway, pull, influence, etc., but if they claim to report back to the devs all that's posted here please make this known. Opening the servers to young players would infuse the game with so much life for everyone. So what if whales start a second account just to hog nodes? There will be other players starting a fresh game that can compete. Those low level players who've never moved beyond 9 or 10 or 14 will have way more competition.
Scopely will sell SO MANY jellies and North Stars.
Alliances can bring in new blood and have a reason to move beyond level 23 or 24, because as it stands now there's no one new in Server 21 to recruit. We just recycle players over and over and over again.
We don't need more G3 nodes, players level 30+ need to get pushed out of level 20 systems by NEW PLAYERS.
Or, again, at the very least, the Devs should know that keeping players in the dark is a TERRIBLE way to do business. if they offered up ANY excuse then maybe it'll shut a-holes like me up.
Or give us a timeframe for when the server will be open so we can inform our mates and tell them to save their coins because they're going to need that Jelly with all the new blood coming into Server 21, or to catch up to the rest of the server.
Or how about this, could the mods at least TRY and act like they understand where we're coming from?

p.s. "spamming" this issue is what got a good deal of enhancements added to the game. Everyone was asking for more G3 nodes, and now Pekka Aiti Kaisu Rator, Pjem and others now have way more.

For bookmarks, once u fill up 100, it’s a nightmare trying to delete from bottom up. they fix the ones you pay for pretty quickly, they really need to work on fixing not exclusively paid for features, it would bestow in the dev team the confidence many have lost almost entirely for them.
example if you max moreau out you break her. reports still dodgy on that one, some say she works others say she's broken, and many more won't max her out because of this.
bones boost the protected cargo of ships while pike doesn't do jack in this regard, except you can't see by how much. so far in my tests bones will boost 1 of 10 pc limit by 10% not 20%, so partially working? I don't know, pike won't boost scotty's warp boost. parts of pike work, great for hostile attacking broken for nearly everything else.
I think the issues here is that they aren't inventive when they test these new features when the implement new ideas. or seeminly don't test them at all. Cause I don't know how so many issues fall through the cracks here, or testers are paid to falsify that there is nothing wrong?
we can only speculate since we are given non answers "we're looking into it, we can't give you an ETA, our team is hard at work finding a more permanent solution, please be patient while we are working on a hot fix" you can only be patient so long.

Instead of all these game updates for new events etc. Can Scopely get around to actually fixing the faults on IOS iPads in particular that have been bugging for a year now and seem to get worse with nearly every update they do.
The game drops every 5 to 10 mins at multiple different times, attacking, clicking in ships, clicking on mines... pretty much for anything these days.
Also some events I win. It isn’t giving the correct rewards, chat keeps blanking out or the path of chats just disappear altogether. The list goes on and on.
Yes I originally put in logs to Scopely months ago but got sick of nothing happening about the faults. Yet, the borg, the new area’s the swarm etc have been brought into the game. Yet these faults are still there.
COME ON SCOPELY. Sort out your faults in YOUR game first before all these other introductions into the game.
And it’s not my internet either. This is the only game in my arsenal that does this.

I'm sure this has been said in the past. We are doing a mission. Of course many missions take you to hostile space. Your ship is given a warning... and you are busy READING. Your ship is destroyed. So, moral of the story... DON'T READ THE STORY. Who cares about it right? So, zip past it and save your ship. When farming on 4 ships in 4 different systems I need to switch quickly and the interface gets in the way. The banners alone take half of the screen. Then there is the mission hint which I don’t need to see now. The rest is useful could be also put in a collapsible menu like the stuff on the left. With this Interface switching, identifying the next target and attacking it takes a lot more than it should.

Just do it your self you probably have cadet maxed too... pull 10 crate you should be having 15 cards but all the one already maxed (or r each the point they dont need cards any more) all those pull will be wasted so you can receive 0 cards for your pull

Common and Uncommon officer shards give officer exp when maxed.Rare and Epics give transporter tokens you can use to get other epic officer shards

Bullies on our server are getting out of what's humanly acceptable.
Since mentioning dead parents, body shaming, insulting and planting hate I galaxy chat.
We already were able to get 2 of them banned for good from server, guess what, they are back! And their return just empowered the ones that were keeping a low profile for a while... Sad
Players with multiple accounts in different servers do agree and confirm that Doomsday server it's really the server of the doomed.

So, to summarize:
- You can block a player to silence them for yourself.
- You can report a player to get them silenced for the entire server.
- We'll suggest a restriction be applied to new players so that people can't simply create new accounts and that way, circumvent these bans like as if nothing ever happened.

I'd like to provide feedback on the recent update of the events window. IMHO, it's way worse than it used to be. The color bands to categorize the type of event are sleek, but don't help to group events. For the worse, the red background in the "Ends" countdown is just horrible, it drags too much attention. I could think of such a background for events that are about to finish in a few minutes, but a countdown of 8d and 23h doesn't need to distract so much. There's some kind of glow around every event, that's just horrible and old-fashioned. It feels out of place, I don't think anything else in the game has this glow. Overall, I think that you tried to fix something that wasn't really broken (I don't know the feedback you receive in your surveys, but I never heard of a complain of this screen); while there are a lot of things that ARE broken and could benefit of some work. With some further work, the events window could be really nice... but as I said, I think you should spend dev effort on more important matteres

I wish there was a way to see stats on a graph with a time variable. You could see how you've progressed and the rates. It'd also be cool if you could see all the places you have had your base. To somewhat address what you say I will add that most store items are scaled by player lvl. So a lvl30 player gets "more" than a lvl28, on the flip side the higher your lvl the more everything costs. The contents improve with level but not at the same rate of inflation as the costs.

I would love to see some more reasonably priced resource packs and upgrade packs in the store. The current prices seem extremely high for the amount of resources the packs contain. Not everyone can afford to drop hundreds of $$$ on a game, especially these days.

In game support has never been very good or very helpful, but unfortunately it’s getting worse rather than better. They are now closing tickets after response so you have no option for reply. Being that they rarely ever understand your issue from first message, the closing of tickets without chance to explain to them further makes an already frustrating situation of the issue you are having even more frustrating to be given an incorrect response with no avenue for continuation or explanation.

It's just infuriating! You take the time to fly to a system to grind some hostiles for faction lock, and on your third kill you get stuck and by the time you've tried to unstick the ship, you're killed! So an entire ship health, RSS and speedups are wasted!
I have never EVER, known a game maker be so completely and utterly ignorant of the issues within their own game! Either that or they really just don't give a shit about the user experience! It's mind boggling!

Have to agree, getting stuck in battle has become much more frequent lately. Been happening several times in a row during the probe killing event for me. But at least there’s no fighters chasing you there. Way worse when it happens in hostile faction space.

Now server transfer tokens have been given to low levels, the number of mines blocked with 2nd accounts is getting out of control.
Is there any plan to address this? I'd suggest a lower level limit to mining g3 res, maybe level 18.

The daily rewards for low level (< lvl 5) should be checked -
Sometimes you need to complete 100% of the sub tasks due to how the pts and the milestones have been set - its not always possible to complete 100% of them if you jumped into an alliance that isn't that online
for low lvl players the 4h gift is available at lvl 2 but daily tasks starts at lvl 3 - if its claimed too early then they might miss out on completing that task

Can someone report to Scopely that if their helpdesk closes my tickets after every reaction, I will have to start dozens of tickets for the same conversation. And the app forces me to type using the horrific landscape mode keyboard, so it's extra annoying (very obvious that they're trying to reduce complaining this way, I've refrained from typing things out many times because of this) and it's kind of dumb because I have to repeat things since I can't see any previous responses.
Like yes, we know, you don't want a conversation, you want us to shut up. Just remove the entire ticket option then.

Scopely! My starbase got hit this morning by an Antares and a Botney bay. None of the opponents ships were every fired upon and my ships were magically destroyed. I’m going based on the mail in my starbase inbox. How do I verify this is what happened on the server? This is the second time this has happened to me.

@trail galleon you are missing the initial attack logs, this happens when your base is hit more than the inbox limit of 30 messages, customer support can fill in the blanks for you if you request in a ticket

The diplomacy feature needs to allow us to flag individuals much like we are able to block individuals. People are wise to the fact that you can only flag alliances as enemies so they drop their alliance or rotate through multiple alliances per day to avoid being flagged.
The diplomacy feature also needs a category between neutral and enemy like we have friendly between neutral and ally. There are alliances we are at war with (“enemy”) and those we are simply wary of (“unfriendly” perhaps?)

I mean you can drop 145 days of that easily enough, do some alliance hopping and it'll whittle down nicely. You also get Latinum and speedups, the amount that you get increasing with your level. Doing it lazy and just leave/rejoin your own alliance every 8 hours you can significantly reduce the time over a few days.
Though at the end of the day, they expect you to pay when you're at that point in the game 😂

i wanted to give you a little thanks for the past 17 Month i played this game. I want to share my reasons with you, so maybe you can learn from it:
- the past weeks since you implemented the server transfer for "friends" just killed the Game. The most players get a second Account to block mines for themselves, cause no lvl 30 can kill those little lvl 17 miners. The Players on higher level, that created their Accounts long time ago and want to play with their real friends/familymembers/... still cant transfer theirs to a different server, sad 😦 for example, my allymate cant play together with his wife which are both on lvl 32, they would have to start from the beginning again and invest the same amount... again.
- another fact i dont want to play anymore is the fact that there is nearly no way to protect other bases or own miners... if the attacker is directly next to his victims base, his/hers miner needs a half second to reach the base, attack, and fly back... its impossible to help a friend. Since i play the game i often read the community request such a feature.
- non-transparency: the community dont know whats going on at Scopely, which features are in the pipeline, which events will come tonight (where have these timetable gone to? there where some when there were these boss events). I would have loved it to read the milelong changelogs
- please get a new support... i often had contact to the support and every single time it felt like im talking to a bot that wont help me, and they helped me just twice - once my ship got stuck and once in the early days the shields didnt work and i got raided - but in the past 12 or more month, me nor my alliance mates (and plenty of players i know in the galaxy) have recieved the help they deserve. e.g. a 12h shield of a friend didnt work, the support even proved that he wasnt logged in when the shields dropped several hours too early
- improve the free 2 play life. i didnt pay the amount other players invested in the game, but it was more money i ever invested in any game (not even World of warcraft which i played for 4 years) but it didnt help pretty much. When stopped investing, i raided more then ever, my base is full of Resources, but i cant invest them because i need to have more Grade 3 Materials, which i only get by luck, crappy events (sorry, but spend 3000 uncommon Grade 3 Gas to get 5 uncommon Grade 3 Gas back is exactly that)… if i see my activity in the Game and in the Community (i was Leader of the #1 Alliance for over 15 Month and we won almost every ALB-Event), it wont pay off. If i would have played a similar free game, i would be at least Top 20.
- Armadas are nice but… there is no real way to organize it. e.g. there is a small group in the Alliance, that take their best ships and crew to defeat a strong armada, but 20 second before the attack, someone parks his Jelly in it, defeats the Armada with ease and even gets most of the credits, and there is no way to kick him out of the armada.
- more events please, you already have 10+ Events, but they are almost the same, Events like the Boss-Event dont work anymore, the Bosses are too easy by now and the last Boss event was boring, the players lvl 40+ win them anyway cause they killed everything without a scratch and the lower had no chance, even with the newer Leaderboards it wouldn’t work well.
- improve gameplay: at the moment, its all about hitting the “attack” button, it would be much nicer to show some kind of skill to win. so here maybe a small suggestion: like a raid (single and/or in a group) where you have to defeat a target, but have to move and fire too.
i will stop now, or else i would continue writing for hours.

Your last two points are one of my main sore points (and recommendations). There needs to be some strategy, especially in solo missions and events. At least something to do besides *click attack.
It is also extremely unfortunate that Scopely is so closed about the things they are working on. I understand them not wanting to announce things that people expect, then face the outcry when someone is delayed or cancelled
But keeping the player base informed of updates that are planned to fix quality of life issues, gameplay concerns, etc, would go a long way into building trust with the players

I wouldnt like it if someone interrupts my raid aswell, but the nicest raid i had was when 20 player were defending against 10 of us raiding. it was a challenge and lot of fun. There could be some mechanics like you can park only 1 ship to defend in a base every 5mins, so the attacker get interrupted at least a little
There could be a special building for it so you can decrease the cooldown time and increase the percentage of the ships power it has while defending so you dont just park a 5mil jelly in it and the base is safe

People use long shields because they want to take a break or cant play the game for a while so in your calculations you are saying buying x amount of 4hour is better than buying 1 7day shield however those people cant log in every 4 hour to put a new shield so there is really no way to calculate exact value of shields.It will be always false for some people

There is a complete lack of transparency with the way referrals has been implemented.
It results in constant pinging with those you have referred to see if they have reached lvl 10, if they are on your server.
With rewards we have to ping in galaxy chat to see if the rewards have been issued and then harass the people we have referred for their player ID to contact CS.

Rewards from things like referrals or information on what's happening is late.
Timeliness is important - being responsive is important - this is feeling very lacking currently.
The Blog post on the borg was a nice small snippet but it sits there in limbo - with little idea on if more will come or where it belongs in the overall scheme of things.
The Borg arc ended with a whimper - no info on what was coming next, no info on the store, nothing about the borg frame.
Teasing out snippets is only effective if there is a consistent and obvious thread bringing them all together.
Randomly throwing out a bite of info every week or so is just wrong on many levels and hardly pulls together the community.
You can do much better, you have done much better - its time to step up and show us you are serious about it
Instead of stepping up you are burning through the goodwill and patience of the mods to keep things in line.
They are already doing an outstanding job in very difficult situations - don't let them down by failing to step up into yours.

@delicate sentinel prior to hitting level 40....I noticed a research item....warp research in the Galaxy research tree....its listed to unlock at r&d 40...so....i leveled to 40.....BUT....you can't get to the mission to get the warp particle until "after" you complete the mission chain that involves ops 41/42. Most players that achieve that level won't need 5 extra warp...AND .... why is it posted to unlock at 40 if it does NOT unlock at r&d 40. Please get this fixed. The amount of monies spent to even get remotely close to level 40 r&d...and money spent to achieve level 40 r&d deserves this item to be addressed and corrected.

By the time I level up that much (I am currently level 40) I doubt I will need the capability the warp research grants to these ships.

Im assuming ppl have complained about the instant repair button but its straight up theft of latinum. Why would instant not just include the speed up but also rss when you have it. That button needs to be moved or have a confirmation but cant imagine anyone would pay 1000 latinum to instant repair a sally that takes 4 hrs and maybe 300 lat if u dont have the speeds

I got a suggestion how about Scopely actually listening to us who pay your wages and do things that we ask. 1: a 5 lvl up/down range that you can attack ( not a 41 jelly that can destroy a 30 base in one hit ) 2: increase the amount of uncommon so that we can upgrade our ships to at least stand a chance of fighting back. 3: reduce the price of the packs in the store . I can’t be the only one that thinks you only care about the idiots that are lining your pockets so us that can’t/won’t pay your extortionate prices can’t progress in the game.
