I get a connection delay error and cannot access any app features or settings. I have restarted Salad and restarted my computer. I can't uninstall salad either. I get an error when trying.

Trying to get a clean uninstall, but your Control Panel just doesn't do it for you? Use the Salad Obliterator to wipe all traces of Salad from your PC so that you can go about your business, whether that be leaving Salad behind (we'll miss you!) or grabbing a fresh install.
WARNING Do not use this unless directed by a Support Assistant.

I thought the message said 1.7.9 but my PC still said 1.7.8 so I thought I was mistaken. I actually edited my post to reflect that.
1.7.9 failed to install. I'm not sure what they were trying to "fix" I can't remove what I have or install new. I'm not using that google link. I've got zero reason to trust that and I'm making next to nothing like always. 64Gb Ram, 12 core/24 thread, RTX 3090
