yea, several people are reporting issues with login. salad staff are out of the office until the 6th so you may need to wait until then

This could have something to do with the new MiCa regulations that come into affect in the EU 31 Dec 2024. Will have wait until 6 jan, when the team gets back in office.

Salad does provide a crypto mining service so they will have to adere to the new regulations

salad balance is a rewords token with no real-world value. the only value given to salad balance is the ability to use it as a token (like a rewards point) to purchase rewards on the store.
salad users never have access to crypto with the app (there isn't even a crypto reward) so I don't think MiCA would apply to them. The only people who deal with crypto are the people working at salad in the background, converting crypto to cash to handle rewards
Looking at it, since Salad Balance has no value outside of the application, it should not be an issue. If SaladPay were ever a thing though, they would need to comply

I'm not in the EU and I'm just skimming over the regulations, so I may be wrong. I also checked with an ai afterwards and it came to the same conclusion
