#Is account sharing allowed?

tos mentions using an account without permission, but there's nothing about sharing an account as long as that's the only account you use

interesting, let wait for official word, because this might change a few things around here
listed to copilot
Copilot is wise
ALSO ONE MORE QUESTION for any staff reading this: is star chef applied PER account, or per machine hosted under the account?
Nvm, cursedatom went back in the search and found this, so just putting it here for future info
Bump
Theoretically this is a good idea. Unless you have dickhead friends who spend every last cent the moment it's available.
reason its a good idea is 1. you wont be using as much electricity if you was in 1 house running all the machines at once and 2 you make 2X the ammount
especially if you have someone in the UK for example me that has good internet speed and has a high chance of getting a really good bandwith job instead of a GPU container etc
theoretically a good idea until you realize that once someone is logged in, there isn't a way to log them out
my login token from over a year ago still works
Yikes even worse. Salad's team should really solve that. It may be for convenience but for their case just make it so you can log it out other devices.
An update to the thread. Now y'all got the answer. NGL, I do not want to get involved in this but if u guys want to pool your own group of chefs, go ahead
Fair enought ty for the answer
Sharing a single account will always result in at least one person getting scammed lol
I can only really see it making sense if you share an account so you can reach higher value redemptions quicker, and then track each person's earnings (which is a bit easier thanks to individual machine IDs now) and share that money accordingly
It'd require a good bit of trust between everyone using the account - especially the main person, but it could end up saving maybe a couple % in margin / transaction fees
