i haven’t seen them advertise it much recently but currently it’s for security reasons

1.0 has alot of work to be finished before non malicious engineering source code is published

some pull requests on the repo have a test server link you can look at

most of the time they add a feature there for concept or just to show how it works

but yeah, they don’t need to let you compile it to be fair

it’s against tos to modify or use their code

#

it’s just advertised as open source because you can view the source code in case of distrust
