Removing it was the right call. A community for artists should be about growth and learning from one another. AI skips the entire creative process, which honestly devalues the effort that human creators put into every piece they share here. I'm not against it entirely, and I think it’s okay to learn something new, but AI is definitely getting out of hand lately.

I totally agree. AI doesn't have a heart to put effort into artwork. While learning and struggling through a piece of artwork is how we actually find ourselves in our work on how do it step by step. I'd much rather see a "messy" sketch with heart than something perfect but empty.

There are some programs that put a barely noticeable filter over an image. There are two types. Images processed by AI with the first filter, supposedly, will look like complete nonsense. Images processed by the other will actively harm the AI model, making it harder to make new images in the future.
