Well if Mila head is stuck in a weird size, remove them since we use skinned appendix for the head

The bad news is, i had to switch between shaders to achieve the semi transparent texture, which mean i need to update UAL too

Well there is another way, create 1 exclusive CoreHead fbx just for mila
So we don't need to resize the head anymore

Well RealToon doesn't support semi-transparent texture but RealToon/Version 5/Lite/Fade Transparency does support them, they have different shader parameter so i think one of them responsible for this

Then turn off one by one to find the mesh that is responsible for her head

yeah the decapitation now has kinda mita head missing, and mita head is not replaced, or it's not removed rather
The Bink is an actual Blink but the rest are just a dummy

This should fix it, but you'll need a Blank.png inside CoreMita folder, just 1x1 transparent texture to hide the duplicate head
The decapitation is also bugged on Miku, it's just how the games work, they duplicate the instance
And i just hide them with some transparent texture haha

I'm here in the game folder. What I did was copy the files from the mod folder into the game folder. I deleted the original game data to replace it with the Hatsune Miku mod data.

Cheers everyone, one more shapekeys question: which ones are used in talking/lipsync? The obvious ones are those called "A" and "O", but there seem to be more, and I couldn't guess by names alone.

And while at it might as well ask this: got a model ported and working, but the color palette/shading seems to vary a lot between the menu and actual gameplay. I have no experience with Unity, is it some sort of common issue with a simple solution - material properties, texture maps, normal editing, etc? (I get it's just lighting, was wondering if I could somehow affect the intensity of it)

Do you have a file called "addons_config.txt" located in "MiSide\BepInEx\plugins\UniversalAssetLoader\Assets"
If yes > Delete it. Newest version of Universalassetloader uses "addons_config.txt" files located inside mod folders in \UniversalAssetLoader\Assets
Example > "MiSide\BepInEx\plugins\UniversalAssetLoader\Assets\ HatsuneMiku\addons_config.txt"
You may need to reinstall mods that uses UniversalAsset loader after updating to the latest version of UAL
You're missing blendshapeorders.json inside Assets folder.
It's a file from the latest version of UAL.
Miku mod is kinda special since I updated UAL based on what problem i encountered during developing miku mod
You should use the default mita outfit before activating any mods

First we need to exclude her from the skinned appendix

Finally, exclude her from getting removed

It will preserve the animation clip from core mita body
But prob the hair mist doesn't get removed mainly because it's not a part of her body.
You'll need to join the core body with ghostly hair to achieve such an effect 
This is one of the instances where Aihasto hardcoded the body parts for the animation
This is the main reason i don't like custom model loader
It requires you to buy a RealToon shader if you want 1:1 equal match with the original game
Use UniversalAssetLoader instead, RealToon is built in there, you don't have to buy anything

How my folder path looks for the mod (I was told by the creator of the mod to not move or delete the addonsconfig file from the folder with the current UAL

When I launch I do not see a addons tab just the base game outfits
I assume that there is a problem with UAL installation, not with the mod itself

create a new txt file inside your mod directory and write this inside
SetFloat _OutlineWidth 0.1
Set it with whatever value you wanted, the default is 0.5
Let's say the txt name is thinoutline.txt
Then in the addons config, you can write
shader_params Mita yourSkinnedAppendixName FolderName\thinoutline
And we're done
There's a lot we can do with this, not just adjusting the outline thickness, setting the color, metalic, emmision, and stuff

steam will then re-download a fresh copy of the game

Replace mesh will be executed on cappie (she's called Cap and know), replace tex will be executed on kind mita (she's called Kind and Future)
And the remove command will be executed on everyone except Mila

There's some texture that shares the name but it's used in different scenes.
Bedroom pictures for example, are used in the CrazyMita room and Ghostly room, yet they're completely different textures.
But the indexing system can't differentiate them
This game is relied on instance id so much that they don't care about naming stuff
But regardless, you should get some sleep first, it's already 00:17

You know what? Yesterday i accidentally replaced my assimp with the new one.
At first it crashed like usual, then i changed it back to 0.9.5 assimp, but it still crashed

Then i replace it back with the new assimp again, then it's magically working
