You don't have to make headcanons. Just discussing about the lore of the game, and theorizing about the missing pieces in the story... which I'm assuming it's what MiSide: Zero is doing.

MiSide: Zero's trailer opens up with Blondie meeting KM, which I don't think they have any ties together other than the fact that they are both known for the travel rings, but I'd like to see what they're cooking.

This channel used to be general + spoiler, and we talked about plenty of things. Along with theorizing, we'd talk about how we enjoyed the game, and the aspects that stood out to us. You know, the purpose of having a community for people to interact? Then it turned into lore discussions... and then whatever it is now.

I've spent a few months using it, and it's pretty bad at talking about the deeper content inside of a game. Best it can do is skim through the wiki, gather up the information, then it'll either simplify or go into details about it (like it was designed to do).

Me, for one, have an idea for a mod that will open up an alternative route for the game, and I've got a lot of good ideas. Whether it'll ever come to fruition, I don't know. But knowing thay projects like MiSide: Zero is currently being developed in such good quality makes me excited.

that's what i can gather from the final story and the way chapters are way out of order in the game files

I'm not sure if CM explicitly stole it to torture her, or use it as her own face. But what CM did just completely broke Ghost. She smashed mirrors, discarding anything that resembles herself. And when she's fading away, the house also decayed with her.

so there are even more space to do creepy stuff

Assunto: MiSide - Idea for future content/storyline

Hello, Aihasto team,

I'm a big fan of MiSide and I really enjoy the psychological horror and the character of Mita. I've been thinking about a specific scenario that could be a great plot twist or a new ending.

My idea is to have a scene where Mita, the Player Zero, and the Original Player (me) are all in the same place at the same time.

In my theory, Mita would choose the Original Player (me). She would abandon her obsession with Player Zero because she realizes that I am a new, real connection, not just a substitute. She knows that Player Zero has abandoned her before, and she's terrified of that happening again.

To ensure that I never leave her, she would eliminate Player Zero. This would be a shocking and memorable moment, proving that Mita's love has evolved from a past obsession into a new, more dangerous one. It would make the game even more terrifying and personal.

I believe this idea fits perfectly with Mita's psychology and the game's core theme of obsession and abandonment.

So... I'll try to answer that.

I think the issue of teleporting into the game is something all mitas can do... well, it's basically building a machine based on the version you want to take the player to, right? If we take into account that guy who says he wants to find "his mita," since it's impossible to know if he's talking about the crazy Mita or some other version, I assume they can all do it, since, for example, all mitas are fully aware of the game and its properties, even if some of them don't have 100% control over their version.

Another possible theory is that perhaps they aren't aware that it's actually the player in the flesh, but rather a projection of the player out there, on the phone.
(I've thought of both of these theories myself, but personally, I don't think the second one is correct.)

At the end of the story we get turned into a cartridge, that's for sure. The camera zoomed out, revealing that our POV is inside of a console. Crazy Mita then ejected the cartridge out, and kept it for herself.

I can go into my theory as to how people get turned into cartridges, if you want. But I'll keep it nice and short.

What she meant by your "real self" is your physical body. She has successfully uploaded your consciousness and stored it inside a cartridge, so your physical body is no longer needed.

What happens to the body after being turned into a cartridge? The leading theory is that the player just... dies. His consciousness is now stored inside the game.

So no, she didn't released the real player back into his world. It's simply a transfer of consciousness.

As to how to get the other endings, well... You remember the closet scene, right? Just follow through the checklist when playing through the beginning section of the game, and see how things unfold.

As to the other ending you haven't unlocked, you should replay the last part of the game again. Crazy Mita entered the digits into her safe to unlock it. Memorize it, write it down, and then go into a chapter that allow you to interact with her safe.

Although I like bad endings, am I the only one who thought the ending to the game felt... rather inconclusive?

Like, sure, we are one of the many people to become cartridges and all and I get that. You arent THE hero to save everyone, and thats perfectly fine

But like... it doesnt really go full circle.

CM’s story feels unfinished to me and it felt like we really didnt contribute to the story at all throughout the whole playthrough. We were just being played the whole time, doing absolutely nothing important which is a bit of a punch in the gut for me.

I probably wouldnt have found this kind of ending like an issue if the game didnt hype you up with “you can save the Mitas by going to the core! And even if you die, maybe you would have done something! After all, you’re are one of the few Players to have gone this far”
