I only noticed it now. KM lies to us and sends us long way to core on purpose. at the end of the game, when we leave Core, we return to version 1.9, to the CM's "home" (the changed layout of the rooms indicates this). i.e. there is a direct connection from the beginning of the game to the core. so why do we have to go this long way? My theory is that KM doesn't want to help us from the beginning, but only shows the world and makes us feel guilty for what is happening, so that instead of leaving at the first opportunity, we should get rid of CM first. but I don't know if it makes any sense and have I completely misunderstood everything?

Considering large portion of main ending was scrapped, including the good ending with Kind Mita we were supposed to get as the main end, it's highly possible there were more passages in the game where the ring was used to escape her safely. But when you think about it. The reason why Crazy Mita went towards the safe when you hid behind the pillar, is to get your cartridge and the device, and with that device id she looks at it, she can see whatever you're seeing. So once she got it, she knew your position at all times, so your ring would be useless anyway

It is hinted that she took the skin a certain MITA in the dark room with all Mitas should have had. Because in that room there was a single mannequin that was missing skin despite being approved. And they can't regenerate unless they have their own house and index (I assume) so the skin didn't regenerate but we don't really know.
