My theory is the player probably talk to the core mita, maybe tell stories of the world he came from, something happens making core mita all alone again, that causes core mita (just like all mitas) feeling lonely again, therefore writing that message. Plus I dont see why a player would write in cryptic codes. But mitas would make more sense.
