ok so paimon has been suspected to be a seele, but in the seele lore, the seele ancestor was married to an outlander under the guardian of the 3 moon sisters. On paimons design, on her cape we see 3 moons. In the story of the 3 moon sisters, after the seele gets married and continues the seele race, the 3 sisters fight, with only aria left. She is thought of the be the one moon left, which we see in the sky, and as the ABYSSAL MOON. Now, on the front of her design, we see an upside down triquerta. The triquerta is supposed to represent some stuff in christianity, along with 3 sisters, which is prob where they got their inspo for the 3 moon sisters. But in genshin, we see the triquerta on the ‘omni element’, on the TCG dice. The omni element is supposed to be a combo of all te elements, and bassically light itself. People suspect the traveler to have light as their OG element too, and this is why they csn use all the elements. So what does the upside down trequerta mean? Dsrkness, or the ABYSS ITSELF. Ok so in an npc’s description of paimon, she says she loos like a ballon whos string is going upwards, right? Well we know teyvats sky is fake, and also know teyvat is upside down. So beyond the fake sky, is none other than the abyss. But how could paimon be a moon sister and from the abyss you may ask? WELL YK WHAT THE SPIRAL ABYSS HAS??? THE ABYSSAL MOON. In buhhdist mythology, there are the 3 worlds. Heaven (celestia, or the loading screen) earth (teyvat) and hell (the abyss). We know celestia isnt from teyvat, snd took over, right? Well in the loading screen, the pillars have the same design as the cuffs on paimons design. So what i think is the moon sisters used to be the origional gods, or in other words, GENSHIN. (Genshin means og god) this would explain why paimons lil crown is on the logo as well. extra: Genshin in chinese means light, but if you switch the two letters used in the chinese word, it means the abyss.
