#Genshin theory? (nerdy)
1 messages Β· Page 2 of 1
iβm sorry its 12:30 am my humor is so shitty right now
what
to google i go, hold on
LMAO
thats amazing
google just gave me questionable fanart of dottore, not much help there
so thanks
for sending the image
...oh dear π
if hoyo gives dottore redemption iβm quitting genshin
real
iβm interested in how his experiments work
like how did he create his different βsegmentsβ
and what did he do with collei and the other kids
yeah, from what we know he injected dead archon power into collei but i wanna know where he got said dead archon power π
exactlyyy
like is he dead archon power lmao
ikr where and HOW?!
dori probably /j
on the topic of harbingers i think pierro and colombina are the most interesting
pierro literally LIVED with abyss sibling in khaenriah π
perhaps aether and lumine were khaenriahn royalty, welcomed in because they were outsiders
tried to leave, cue beginning cutscene + cataclysm, abyss sibling wakes up, travels and sees the truth of this world, follows the abyss
and then cue our journey
huh
honestly knowing dori it's entirely possible π
also of what god/archon
lmao
this actually sounds very possible
not a theory but actually a fact i wanted to shareπ«’, alhaitham name in Arabic is a name for falcon
' technically it's not a really a name more like a trait associated with falcons in Arabic?
I love it when i found connections between genshin and irl
oh wait that's so cool! i didn't know that
the upside down statue could be the abyss order's way of saying "the archons are on the wrong side of the world" aka the archons are demons/devils theory
ok so i was just thinking about this, isn't is so weird that during the chasm quest we see the inverted statue and it's one of venti's statues? like we're in the chasm which is in liyue but it's a mondstat venti statue
which made me wonder if we're missing a statue in mondstat
maybe... here?
oh yeah i for sure think weβre missing a mondstadt statue
that does look like a good place
mondstadt is so sus
it would be so hoyoverse style if we ended the journey where we started
slight wanderer quest spoilers here
||so assuming khaenriah is our last destination, and abyss twin's journey was a mirror image/opposite of our own, wouldn't their journey have ended in mondstadt? π thats so sus wth||
yes i was thinking about that, how that could be the time where ventiβs actual full lore and power get released
venti's definitely lying about being the weakest archon
if an archon's power is derived from a people's faith, venti is buff af
bro has a church π
zhongli is pretty well respected in liyue, but due to erosion and the fact most people believe he is dead he is slowly starting to lose influence and power
meanwhile say a singular bad thing about barbatos and a bunch of murder nuns will come and find your location ππ
also the fact venti isn't suffering from erosion (hibernation essentially) makes him a whole lot more powerful
even if he wasn't talking about his 'archon powers' he's still strong even with just the element, in i guess our first time seeing him he was able to "disappear/teleport" which is why i believe he didn't fight for his gnosis willingly
LMAO
yeah he definitely isnβt the weakest archon, especially since we get saved by βthe windβ (people w anemo visions) throughout our whole journey
so real, he could've thrown signora to the next hoyoverse game when she took his gnosis but he didn't even put up a fight π or he could've just flown away if he didn't want to
im convinced the archons are in on this gnosis plan
(except nahida, she was the only one that actually tried to gain something from the trade)
'may the wind bless your travels ^^'
looks at 6reeze
yeah it really did β οΈβ οΈ
lmao
did anyone notice this cecelia in ei's cutscene
my istaroth is the statue in inazuma theory intensifies
tbh i don't see thing from the screenshots, but i might look it up
the cecelia strikes again
im actually starting to believe the statue in inazuma is istaroth
It's very possible, miko mentioned that she thinks there was a 'higher power' with makoto and they put istaroth in text
Cecilia are LOCAL to mond and in it's description it says "only grows where harsh winds blow" and we know that istaroth is the god of both WIND and time
there's a book from enkanomiya that mentioned istaroth as well
another thing is, we know none of the raidens had wings while istaroth most likely had wings
help me
Yeah the statue 100% isn't for makoto or ei
ππ
I'll try my best searching
Wait that's really make sense
Venti used to be a wind spirit so he was there but wasn't "seen" so what if it's something similar?
tbh im still debating whether she is still alive or not
she could very well still be hidden
THAT'S WHAT I THINK
I think she willingly isolated herself cus of heavenly principles or something
she was still alive during the cataclysm or at least up until
because
well raiden's pt2 plot
ooh a bit like what i think happened to paimon, except i doubt paimon went willingly lol

The only god/archon we seen that isn't dead but not in rule of a nation till now is guoba, but he take a lot of his strength so what if at some point istaroth used her powers much like him?
Their choice of words is very interesting..
then she probably would've shrunk into something, like guoba. i think thats why a lot of people think paimon is ista ;-;
especially the 'sea of white flowers'
i think its either an actual sea of cecelias, hence why venti has cecelias in his ascension mat OR the sea of inteyvats
My mind went to this..
the twins hide a lot from us, even the 'character story' it's still not open to us..
But im more curious about the "loom of fate" one
its funny how they are 'the player mc' and also the character we know about the least...
heres to hoping fontaine is this said '???' π
Turns out we were the villain all this timeπ (jk)
WAIT
It is perhaps something connected between the twins?
you might be on to something hold on
in the preview trailer dain goes 'and the threads of fate will be yours to reweave'
THREADS AND A LOOM OF FATE????
THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE πππ
Nothing in this game is coincidence
something tells me the twins will be in charge of this 'loom of fate' with the 'threads of fate'
there's also the issue of how lumine's inteyvat flower is still alive if they only were able to live in khaenriah
oh wait nevermind, the flower can still live, the petals just don't grow
okokokokokok my brain is overloading right now
ok so neuvillette likely does not have a vision
on a stream i was on they were talking about how he could be the hydro dragon that belongs to focalors, which got me thinking that he could be a reincarnation of the hydro dragon. remember that ongoing theory we have about the samsara and archons being reincarnated in the new samsara? what if neuvillette is the hydro dragon in the new samsara?
because the hydro dragon was originally one of the seven sovereigns, like all of the other dragons
the dragons fought with the primordial one and lost, and the hydro dragon died
- there was a prophecy in enka that said it would be reborn in human form
so that's likely neuvillette
oh wait but kokomi
i forgot about her
hmmm, i guess we'll get more lore on him when he's released
The fact that he doesn't have a vision and constellation info is really sus, like will he be able to control the element without a vision like the traveler? does he have a source of the element therefore "not human"? Or does he have a (delusion)?
There's so many possibilities
And man isn't released in game yet

Wait so what are their "demon names"
oh for archons?
thereβs barbatos (venti), morax (zhongli), beelzebub (raiden ei), buer (nahida), and focalor (focalors)
i donβt know any others right now
for archons it's what @ripe sparrow said, but theres others like paimon, astaroth (istaroth) and asmodeus (asmoday, aka unknown god)
(info about the "demon" focalor)
this is getting interesting
the second one is even more interesting with "a prophecy says that all of Fontaine will be drowned in water, leaving only the Hydro Archon to sit and see the ruin", it's all connected
ooh, the first one is interesting too with the whole focalor-celestia fangirl situation
in the fontaine teaser one of the lines were 'and for the sinners, the curtain call has come.'
i like to believe those 'sinners' could be people who defied the heavenly principles (they didn't, they probably stole bread or smth which was against some moral)
i have actually lore expectations from her
hoyo did a great job in making the lore, but im even more curious about of why our journey ends in where our sibling journey started? (Khaenri'ah)
AND ITS NOT EVEN THE END OF THE CHAPTERS

what i've noticed so far is a lot of parallels
Yes it does
especially with the samsara saga
"The God of Justice lives for the spectacle of the courtroom, seeking to judge all other gods.
But even she knows not to make an enemy of the divine."
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ASKSKSHAGF
am i going to rethink everything again? yes. am i going crazy? maybe.
difference between βgodsβ like people who act like gods or actually other gods and βdivineβ which could refer specifically to the power of celestia? idk here
the only thing i can come up with is maybe there's a higher "god" or maybe the heavenly principles?
it's appreciated lol
its speculated that celestia is above fontaine
...
perhaps because it may the be only nation that isn't hostile? or perhaps it was just there the whole time and that was the root of the issues fangirling
justice in the name of the divine
interesting
now my question is if not for us, then who?
it makes me think of the bp "story", the last line was " This is the story of YOUR journey"???????????
perhaps the pearl was the 'truth'
because i suspect that's what made abyss sibling fall down the emo hole
wait.. since we are getting a new bp weapons does it effect anything or just in game?
venti knows too much but says too little
also i believe he's the only archon that have been "worshiped" among the seven
interesting how we are referred to as 'crowned heirs'
'and the memory of her noble origins faded'
which is sus after caribert
hmm you're right
the other nations have seen their god in person
and they respect them but not exactly 'worshipped'
bro is literally anemo jesus

but the bp HAS to be an allegory of our journey ππ
this is making me think of istaroth
seeds of stories, brought by the wind and nurtured by time
this is no theory but have you guys seen that istaroth tiktok
its an edit and its so good
is it the one where the cecelias appear in ei's cutscene
i got this from an edit LMAOAO
unsure but it wont let me share a link to it
i dont think so
its an edit with lots of voicelines
let me screen record it bc its very interesting to me
why the fuck is there an ummarked island off mond π€¨
actually a really good question
that remind me of when there was a saying that there's a under water in cider lake
OH YEAH I SAW THAT ONE
YES YES YES
the statue of the omnipresent god literally has a eye of the storm necklace LOOL
yeah i think someone noticed that the black spots on the water indicated an underground area
and cider lake just so happens to have said spots π€¨
they want us to believe we are finished with mond
but there's so many things
like if the unmarked island was saved for later "lore" they wont add dialogue

and they also won't explain how someone deadass plucked a statue of the seven out of mondstadt
like π how
and where was it
does the statues of the seven construction team ignore basic foundation protocols
like even if it was lifted using magic you'd wonder how they didnt have any sort of protection
wherever it came from that place is not in game
and the fact that the domain wasn't even in mond, like i imagine them dragging the statue but who knows, also the church didn't notice? knights? the locals? no one noticed? this doesn't sound normal for they worship him and didn't know????
im now picturing an abyss mage just running with a statue of the seven on its head
tf was a barbatos statue doing in liyue as well ππ
actually speaking if it was the abyss order who stole the statue why didn't they just steal all
WAIT I JUST NOTICED!
after every nation archon quest there's a "traveler" quest EXCEPT MOND
WE ARE NOT DONE WOTH MOND
oh FU-
YOURE RIGHT πππ
DAIN IS AFTER LIYUE
what if the traveller quest WAS the mond archon quest /hj
We will be reunited, the chasm one, caribert, BUT NO MOND
fontaine
ANSWER US PLEASE
mondstadt is the nation we saw first and also the nation we have the least lore about
WAIT we will be reunited is supposedly the fist traveler quest, but even tho it was chapter one IT WAS ACT 4?????
||or is it cus of the main archon quest
||
i think so π mond had 3 acts
i am in fact going crazy
we can go crazy together
π€
'and the threads of fate shall be yours to reweave'
π€
in "we will be reunited", the choice of words matter
it's not memories ABOUT Khaenri'ah
it's OF Khaenri'ah
**about **Khaenri'ah could possibly be more general or from other person perspective
while of is more personal perspective
even paimon proves it
sea of flames?
and they were there before tevyat?
also is it connected with this old event?
the description of the event adds up with the traveler
they were asleep for long time (500 years or something) and we know that the other twin woke up before us
i mean we already have seen the damage that celestia can do, my guess is by βdivineβ it means celestia and/or the gods that are above the archons
deep slumber, mysterious dreams? sounds like what happened to us
pretty sure paimon is the primodial one
because her crown is very symbolic
her crown is literally on top of the games logo
and she has patterns on her which are similar to domain trees
this is very vague but i think you guys get what i mean
ok this is probably 100% me being delusional BUT 'no matter the fate that has brought you hither' (implying the previous samsara) 'new thread of fate is already being woven' (current samsara cycle)
no that makes sense
the abyss twin want us to reach the end, while dain want us to UNDERSTAND the meaning..
small theory: maybe our sibling understood it "wrong" so it's our part to understand it "right"?
that makes sense, i think we definitely know that our twin knows the truth about teyvat being a βhellβ and the archons possibly being less godly than they seem
ok so apparently albedo's lore is HUGE and i barely know any of it at all
so like is he going to become important later on?? i hope so
OMG yeah
yeah probably
especially considering his mom and susbedo
also i saw a theory that lynette is a robot which i think is really interesting
either that or she uses her responses to drive people away, but it's interesting considering that freminet's constellation is named "automaton" and fontaine's technology is so advanced
mom?? please explain
rhindottir
the indirect cause of the cataclysm
master alchemist from khaenriah
hello?? celestia is so close to fontaine
iβd guess that itβs anywhere in this area which is scary
i saw a video saying that celestia currently has 2 divine nails, so if celestia is getting closer to fontaine it could mean that one (or both?) of them is going to be dropped on fontaine
could be related to the prophecy - ||βin the end, the people will all be dissolved into the waters, and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throneβ¦ only then will the sins of the people of fontaine be washed away.β||
also about the rain in fontaine, is it possible that it happens whenever someone is experiencing a really strong emotion, especially sadness, despair, or emotions connected to sadness? lyney said that it usually rains when a court trial is in progress. in a court trial, the person who is being charged is likely going to feel an extremely strong emotion if they are charged as guilty or innocent
and based on what lynette said about ||how even tears converge in the fountain at the opera house + the fountain has hydro energy||, it's possible that strong emotions, probably ones that include tears, could influence the weather
idk maybe i'm reading way too much into this lol
according to a legend, it rains when the hydro dragon is sad (presumably one of the seven dragon sovereigns of teyvat)
and i think theres a prophecy somewhere where it said the hydro dragon will be reincarnated into a human
(minor-ish fontaine spoilers) ||neuvillette has vishap eyes, and it is also implied he doesnt have a vision. at the end of the archon quest, we sit with him for a while when he is sad and after that the weather clears up. paimon also takes notes of this, implying that that has something major to do with the plot.||
a few madlads actually did the math and π
speaking of the prophecy, i believe it has something to do with nicole
for a more detailed explanation, albedo was the prime creation of rhinedottir, a master of the alchemy art khemia from khaenriah who also was part of the hexenzirkle. she created a shit ton of weird creatures which ravaged the land and was the starting point of the cataclysm. among the creatures was durin (the dragon on dragonspine), susbedo (fanmade name for failed albedo) and well- albedo. she went missing after looking for this thing called 'heart of nabius' and left albedo with a final mission (to uncover the truth of this world.) she then went to get the milk π
in 2.3 (i think, also shadows in snowstorms spoiler) ||susbedo tried killing albedo because he's alive somehow π||
I think the most interesting thing is that albedo and subject 2 (aka susbedo) isn't "created" the same, like albedo is chalk while susbedo is from ||whopperflowers?|| also why did susbedo even tried to replace albedo? (they might said it during the event i don't remember lol) also is there's more subjects? also the most important albedo saying ||"If one day, I lose control... Destroy Mondstadt.... Destroy everything... Can I rely on you to stop me?"|| make me think that rhinedottir have some control over him
||in the event there was a whopperflower albedo, which was actually a distraction from the real susbedo who appears at the end very briefly. i think because albedo was the 'perfect' one while susbedo was literally FED TO DURIN π he was probably jealous of albedo's perfect life lol||
that makes me wonder if albedo decide to live in dragonspine cus of him
anyway i want more albedo events, he is the best
bruh imagine your brother being the favourite child with all the compliments and knowledge while your mom literally feeds you to her pet dragon π
putting it like that it's both depressing and funny af
i wish shadows amidst snowstorms wasn't limited ;-;
the info we got from it is better than what we got in his story quest
it will always be my top 1 event
fr π like half of his lore was in that event
AND CINNABAR π
i wish i played it god π
don't remind me.. i have the weapon but it will forever be r1 cus i didn't know what the materials was and bought everything eles beside them
both dodoco tales and cinnabar deserve to come again
π
thats...gotta hurt π ohmygod im sorry
my r4 mailed flower crying
petition for gaa, shadows amidst snowstorms and unreconciled stars to run again
i want to have option to get certain weapons back, especially the ones that don't have canon character like memory of dust
like i get that the event weapon is like "limited for the event" but weapons like cinnabar suite albedo butter than his "signature"

i definitely think heβs the reincarnation of the hydro dragon. a lot of people say that itβs kokomi but that just makes no sense because she lives in inazuma and it would be so random. all the fingers point to neuvillette being the reincarnation
when all of the dragons tried to take on the primordial one, the hydro dragon ended up passing away and was reincarnated as a human (source: genshin wiki)
like this is so incriminating ππ
i think a lot of people say it's kokomi due to enkanomiya having a shit ton of vishaps and her constellation is 'sleeping dragon' but neuvillette is so obvious
yeah definitely
Well, that theory was created and popularized before the Fontaine archon quest, before we even new that Neuvillette existed. People read through the lore, realized or theorized that the hydro dragon was reincarnated as a human. Naturally, they began speculation of who it could be. They looked at Kokomi, with her constellation literally called sleeping dragon, and figured that it could allude to how she's a dragon who doesn't realize it, like the dragon inside her is sleeping. At the end of the day, theories are just theories. No matter how much evidence you round up, it's not officially proven or disproven until you get more official information. In this case, it was a popular belief that was then disproven when more lore and information about Fontaine and the Hydro dragon was revealed.
Venti second story quest
thatβs fair, the theory was definitely still a strong one and it made sense with the evidence that was provided at the time
ofc, i used to believe it was kokomi for a bit until i looked at the lack of evidence lol
well iβm pretty sure this derails any theories about lynette being a robot lol
right after ||navia yelled at neuvillette about his lack of emotion and her fatherβs deaths||
(Spoiler?)
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSLpgEqKX/
that definitely has to be about the prophecy right?? βhow much longerβ - until the events in the prophecy occur
wait is this real π
yes
i guess yes, even neuvillette said that she took it seriously
oh nvm after some trial and error i got it π
if only the npcs didn't block out the dialogue π
it could be like rukkha's statue whisper
once the fontaine arc is over it might disappear
also what the fuck is this in the trailer
i suspect that might be the previous hydro archon as that is not an oceanid
or maybe her "archon/original form"? like zhongli is a dragon, venti is a wind spirit.. maybe something similar idk
the line right after
its either furina's memories got washed away somehow or the previous hydro archon forgot who she was
wait that's actually cool
i'll rewatch it maybe i could find some clues
it make sense with the "the water is gradually swallowing our memories", but i don't have any other ideas
βnobody deserves to take the stage more than lady furinaβ like no, be quiet please
it could be related to the prophecy
I canβt be the only one who thinks about this but this new place in Fontaine (I call it Fontaine enkanomiya) looks very alike to enkanomiya which made me wonder whether this place here called β???β Could have a relation with enkanomiya
the prophecy in the quest basically says that the quest world/fontaine enka is what the world would look like after the cataclysm
It also has some rifthounds which are closely linked to the abyss and khaenriβah as a whole
Are these not these same exact place
wtf
Nope
For context: Enkanomiya is on the left and Fontaine Enkanomiya is on the right
no, first picture is original enka, second is from a fontaine quest called βbook of esoteric revelationsβ
But these are not the exact same places they are different however share a lot of similarities
yep, so weβre discussing how they might be connected
Mainly the aesthetic of the buildings and how they have broken paths
the book said that rifthounds were named after the βpassagesβ in khaenriah that it called βBeastly Riftsβ, which is how the name βrifthoundsβ came to be
i mean they also have the same symbol/shape on the floor so yeah
so yeah rifthounds are very connected to khaenriah
Yea especially bc they were created by Rhinedottir
Yes
She created Albedo and βprimordial Albedoβ too
She also accidentally created the golden wolflord
yep, i am so not up to date on albedoβs lore
I know his lore very well π
Bc excluding the archons I think he has the most interesting lore in the whole game IMO
is there lore in his story quest? because iβm going to unlock it today
(And no Itβs not bc im biased bc i love Albedo)
definitely, i would say itβs the most complex out of everyoneβs
Nope itβs just experiments π
aww
Either the game is saving it for something (bc they did a brief overview in 2.3) or forgetting about it
oh right, i missed a ton of old events because i joined in 2022
Same
i watched replays of them on yt
yeah i might do that
But itβs strange how there is an Enkanomiya like place in Fontaine
Except the sky seems to be shattered
on a different note, i would say this piece of dialogue isnβt too far off in terms of travelerβs strength lore-wise
Definitely
i just found that interesting lol not sure what to make of it
The shattered sky is very interesting as well
If I remember Enkanomiya lore, didnβt Orobashi help the ppl of Enkanomiya get to the surface?
Iβm not sure whether ppl were trapped in this βEnkanomiyaβ or not
i doubt it, because at that point in the story we hadnβt talked about or introduced fontaine
True
i think this is a βdreamscapeβ (thatβs what they called it) that the author of the book created based off of what they thought the world would look like after the cataclysm
βa world where not even sweet flowers or mint would growβ
True
i could be wrong though
Iβm excited to see whether the game is gonna further develop the area or abandon it like they did with enka
yeah, i still havenβt finished enka quests lol
I have
i stopped when i got to the rifthounds, theyβre so scary lmao
i should do that tho
anyways
Rift hounds arenβt that bad
oh wait hold on fontaine is definitely connected to enka

the prophecy that said that the dragon of water would be reborn in human form was originally discovered by orobashi in enka
Thereβs already theories saying that Neuvillette is the hydro dragon but human
And considering how close he is with Furina
And no constellation either
and many different dialogues point to rain stopping and starting when he is sad or not
I feel like Neuvillette is very important in the story
this was right after navia yelled at neuvillette about her dadβs trial and duel, and about neuvilletteβs apathy and lack of emotion
Yea I have a feeling Neuvillette is the hydro dragon
and then this as well
This was after he went to Callasβs grave I think-
And payed respects to Naviaβs father
it was, he was at callasβ grave and it was raining, and navia came up to him
and she apologized to him, then we talked to him and he got happier and the rain stopped
Either he has a relation with the dragon or he is the dragon
And no vision either with an unknown constellation
i believe wholeheartedly that heβs the dragon
If the constellation is revealed in the game and it has the word βDracoβ in it (it means dragon in Latin) heβs got a relation with the dragon
yep
Or Fontaine can do what Inazuma did and not have a dragon
I think Inazuma did have a dragon but Iβm not 100% sure
The fact that theyβre keeping the constellation name hidden shows that neuvillette has a lot more to him than when we first saw him
(I like it when the game introduces us to a character where we learn little to nothing about them which ends up having more mystery to them and more theories)
i believe it did, something happened between the dragon and ei (if iβm correct she killed it) and now itβs gone, iβm not 100% sure though
yesss
best types of characters
I always thought that Orobashi was the electro dragon ;w;
oh? i havenβt heard that theory before
That explains why instead of fighting another dragon we fight the puppet
yeah
hold on iβm gonna confirm
Oke
ok so yes raiden killed the dragon towards the end of the archon war, but orabashi was not the dragon
Yea bc I remembered that Orobashi was more affiliated to watatsumi island
he and the dragon were enemies apparently
I Wonder how many of the seven dragon sovereigns were killed-
i know that in the war between the dragons and the heavenly principles, the hydro dragon and a dragon named βnibelungβ were killed by the heavenly principles, and eiβs dragon was killed in the archon war, but i donβt know others
i think there was one more that dottore killed
There are only 3 dragon sovereigns which are:
Apep
Nibelung
And dragon of water
?
Nibelung died during the war of the heavenly principles
huh
my reaction exactly
google tells me that it was a mondstadt dragon named ursa the drake

wait apep is still alive tho, corrupted by forbidden knowledge, but alive nonetheless
are these the ones that died in the war?
One died in the war with the heavenly principles
I looked on the wiki and it says that βa prophecy in Enkanomiya claims that a new dragon of water will be born in human formβ
yep, thatβs the prophecy that orobashi got
i thought all dragons were dead apart from apep π
dendro is special
last element to be released, archon was not in khaenriah during the cataclysm etc.
neither of them are part of the primordial though ;-;
it's kind of funny to me that apep is the dragon of sumeru while its giant snake/demon of CHAOS in Egyptian mythology

i love the dragons lore but it confuses me so much
also i just wanted to say as the OP of this post, thank for everyone here for sharing my nerdy side
yooo me too, im an avid lore enthusiast + reader so this thread is arguably my favourite on this server LOOL
ohh my mistake
aa same, it makes me so happy to share the things i know and learn so much more interesting lore on this thread
holy crap
does that mean itβs connected to both enka and the chasm?
i canβt wait to get more of the archon quest
possible, they both "underground" afterall
yeah, iβm hoping hoyo expands more on iy
it
oh my god??
im so excited for 4.5 now
i'm really hoping we get more info on the 'sinner' and the loom/thread/weave fate fiasco
also abyss sibling interaction please
perhaps the place is also a remnant of the first civilisation of teyvat, like enkanomiya
two nails, ready to drop
sorry picture is very low quality
yeah itβs definitely close to fontaine
2d model was nice but the 3d is also good because less glitches
ok hear me out but like what if it dropped during the fontaine archon quest
not at all likely but a girl can dream
(mainly because celestia is supposedly dormant after the cataclysm, which is actually super sus because i suspect our sibling had something to do with it)
idk why but i immediately remembered morax "death" scene
we already seen a fallen nail on chasm and dargonspine
And both locations considered as kind of abandoned
ok so apparently there was a nail dropped in sumeru desert as well
or should i say what is now the sumeru desert
and then according to youtube there was one in tsurumi?
which would make 4 in all, one for each region i guess
i wishhh that would be so cool
but it would be kind of pointless because then fontaine would just be wiped out and the quest would end π
that makes me wonder if there's a reason for it they choose where to "let the nail fall" like it can't be just random location
i like to think it's those that challenged celestia or got too advanced
like sal vindagnyr ||HOW DO YOU SPELL IT HELP ME||
and the princess who could see the future
i also wonder how the hell celestia managed to get a nail in the chasm π
like did it just spawn there or
a very important thing to celestia it seems is staying in power, from their actions it looks like they don't want to be overpowered
now my question is how and why are the heavenly principles dormant
yes definitely, celestia is seemingly very worried about being overthrown
ALSO i figured out that celestia and swc (second who came) are the same thing
weβve had a lot of theories here lmao
i scrolled through so much π
it would actually make equal sense as phanes winning, because phanes was so nice to his people
and then
well we got celestia who is essentially a corrupt government but teyvat π
HUH
now i would think of it, it would actually make more sense than phanes celestia
the motivations are definitely more solid
i believe so, i forgot where i found this so source is gonna be trust me pls
another fact supporting this is that the people of enkanomiya (remnants of the first civilisation) are referred to as 'sinners', and since they follow phanes it would make sense if he was the 'great sinner'
ohhh yeah that makes a lot of sense
it doesn't help they were called sinners by ENJOU.
AN ABYSS LECTOR ππ
(who is probably also a sinner)
thank you, you just reminded me to finish enka quest
This portal from world quest and the abyss twin portal seems very similar.. is it abyss energy? or something eles?
it looks very similar to all abyss portals, which makes me wonder if this quest world could be related to abyss as well
ok this is very random but in the caribert quest, clothar was led to start the abyss order by a person called βthe sinnerβ and we also hear the voice of this βsinnerβ
earlier in this thread we were discussing orobashi and how he found βbefore sun and moonβ and was punished by celestia for reading it
does that make it possible that orobashi was the βsinnerβ? it might be unlikely since orobashi was killed by raiden and from then on didnβt really have an impact on the story but it could be possible due to him being the one that read before sun and moon
sorry if that rant didnβt make sense lol
hmm, i'd say unlikely as orobashi would've held influence over the abyss order (or the abyss as a whole), and it seems like orobashi is long dead. along with that, i doubt the 'great sinner' would be anyone after the 40 year war with swc as whatever happened there is obviously being covered up, and orobashi did not pose as big a threat by reading a book compared to the other firsthand participant of the war
also ain't no way the leader of the abyss got absolutely nuked by raiden who isn't believed to be the most powerful archon π
yeah, my brain was whirling when i was writing that and i was going off of very little info so i realize now that it makes very little sense
i was just thinking about how the book couldβve influenced things
but yeah thereβs no way that raiden couldβve killed the leader of the abyss when for most of her life as archon she was hated and feared by like 2/3 of her people lmao
however this brings up another question for me (if you know the answer please say) which is what was the item that the sinnerβs voice coming from? was it a divine nail that was possessed by abyssal energy? was it just a piece of rock? could it have come from the abyss? like what was it?
i have no idea, but it was most probably something to do with this lil chonkus as the voice was inside our head
yeah definitely connected to the statue
canβt wait for 4.1 to come out so i can look at whether celestia has moved or not
someone said itβs not following us, its following paimon which i thought was interesting
on one hand: it could be following traveler because it has already seen our sibling as a βsinnerβ and now is trying to see what weβll do
on the other hand: it could be following paimon because she really is connected to the unknown god or has some other connection to celestia + the gods
found this line during enka quest
in the opening cutscene from the beta, the traveler was the one who first wake up and saw the other twin (chained),
and in-game we've seen the statue of the seven and whatever this "thing" (referring to the pic lol) chained
and i heard a theory before that the beta cutscene might be what the abyss sibling saw, cus in the current game we know that the traveler woke up after their twin
also this is the opening cutscene from the beta if u guys didn't see it:
but in both scenarios i don't get why would they leave without the other twin
like if the traveler woke up first and saw fking chain on their twin and just let it be go travel????
or in where the traveler woke up after, why they left (ik the abyss twin look after us but why not waiting?)
in the beta scene, it seems as though we donβt realize that what we were dreaming of was real
also the person narrating in the beginning is venti i think??
someone said it was venti
which brings us back around to our βventi is strongest/most important archonβ theory
i mean the fact that itβs his voice implies that he knows what happened between us and our twin, despite the fact that i donβt think we told him the full story
So bringing back the archons = demons thing
I saw this in twitter (im not calling it X)
If the traveler meant to be lucifer maybe the abyss twin is considered as where he is astray from god?
and the traveler will be Helel the name lucifer held before his punishment from heaven
THE THEORY IS EXPANDING PEOPLE
π₯
fuck you're right
we're on the path to celestia (heaven) after our sibling dropped out and follows the abyss (hell) and we are following in their footsteps (bp cutscene)
or maybe abyss sibling (lumi for simplicity) did actually reach celestia but it wasn't as she thought it would be, and they tricked her into signing something which either is the destiny she is fighting or could be her exile from heaven
as she was 'summoned to the heavens'
the only deadnaming i accept is twitter
aa stop coming up with good theories
if we don't get celestia related content in next patches im going to be disappointed
sameeee, like celestia is basically right over what iβm pretty sure will be a new fontaine region so if itβs just sitting there iβll be disappointed
i mean it literally has two (or more) divine nails ready and weβve already had one dropped in each region so mayyybe one will drop during the archon quest
and it would make more sense because if that region is farther away from the city, a nail could be dropped more realistically
idk thatβs just my thinking
coincidence?? i think not
they fatui mention the βold worldβ alot
and since their goal is to basically cleanse the world of wrongdoing (or something like that, feel free to correct me), a βnew worldβ would probably be the world after they accomplish their goal and cleanse the world
I think they meant something about the secret of Teyvat and Celestia
yeah, weβve had theories about this in here and i think one was that the fatui know the true nature of this world and are trying to fix it
one person on youtube had a really good theory
oh my god how have i never thought about us travelling in time π we'll probably get help from istaroth too
WAIT THAT MEANS ISTAROTH CONTENT
YAYYYYY
I think it's pretty common knowledge that Nara varuna is our twin
But like I just finished that quest and I HATED it
lmao i loved it
i sat through the dialogue on 2 accounts and actually enjoyed it π
oh my god i hope so
still haven't started aranara quest lol, i'm trying to speedrun meka event before it's gone
"loom of fate"
i have this theory
maybe the abyss twin destiny change the moment they joined the abyss? and that's why the irminsul count them as "they BELONG to this world" the abyss sibling needs to be 'included' in teyvat, not that they are FROM it
so after we end up with our journey it's our part to understand it and reweave the threads of fate and by that we let our sibling free from the abyss (as dain said "rescue") and the abyss sibling have faith that we'll be able to and that's maybe why they said that we have enough time
i tried my best writing my thought
i hope it's clear enough
I have this theory
I think that genshin, star rail and honkai impact 3rd are in the same universe
So like
It may sound crazy
But I think the abyss was the result of a stellaron
And as well as the honkai corruption in hi3
i saw someone say that the harbingers are based off of hi3 chars as well, i think your theory definitely makes sense
tbh i thought they were all bubble universes in the imaginary tree
i think it was stated in the official genshin impact server somewhere but i can't find it anymore
or maybe im just tripping idk π
Guys be honest
Would kianna (finality) absolutely destroy the teyvat universe alone?
I'm pretty sure she could and would
she could sneeze and the vast majority of teyvat would be deleted
Exactly
I'm very sure archons are connected to hi3
i mean raiden ei and raiden mei is π
praying tsaritsa bronya expy
yeah major himeko
a mini version
And we would possibly get 2 new elements, light and dark
Light would be exclusively for the traveller
Meanwhile dark would be for dainsleif
oh so basically untangling our sibling from the threads of fate? we have to save them from destiny
that would make a scary amount of sense as i like to think they are tied down by the threads of fate
I literally don't have two shots about our sibling
*shits
Well if they wanted to go with us they WOULDN'T keep HIDING
i do lol
i think they literally can't, they are basically trapped by fate
In my theory they aren't hiding, they unable to be with us cus of the abyss
i wanna know how they got there lmao
What is the abyss doing? Holding them back by their ass hair??
U get me (high fiveποΈ)
What do you mean by fateee
β
You decide your own fate
We really don't know the cause of abyss plans
I never really got that thing
THAT WHY I SAY THE ABYSS SIBLING DESTINY MAY CHANGED
Like wth does it mean
SO ITS BY CHOICE
Also
Zhongli maybe a descender
Or venti
π
if we add that to my celestial contract theory maybe that's how they got stuck
Oh yeahh
if it helps the battlepass cutscenes clears stuff up
like maybe how we can't leave
In my theory venti is a descender because in one of his voice lines he says that "we meet again... Huh, you don't know me...? Nevermind"
i thought that implies a past that may have been deleted from our memories or they saw the abyss sibling in their prime
adding to this didn't we get stripped of our powers
we couldn't leave even if they wanted to π
I like to think that venti still remember kusanali
well yeah kusanali's alive
Because he knows all songs, of the past present and future
I mean the old dendro archon
oh rukkha
Back to loom of fate in caribert quest caribert somehow "became" the loom of fate after he absorbed the abyss energy
ooh interesting
Genshin logic πβοΈπ
is this loom even an object
I think it's a concept
I mean it just appears in a cutscene
im imagining a dead hilichurl warped into a loom shape π
No the thing is a mirror
wasn't that just a mirror caribert saw and freaked out
It could very well be materialized abyss energy designed to mess with our mind and it freaked out caribert aswell
i think caribert freaked out because when you look in the mirror you don't really expect to see an alien instead of your face
just me tho
wait dyk why dain legit says 'defeat me, command me to step aside, and then the threads of all fate will be yours to reweave' like what does he have to do with the loom
We know that dain traveled with our sibling so maybe the 'fate' got connected with him too?
ah so he got dragged down too?
IDK ITS STARTING TO CONFUSE ME
I just realised Chongyun does not make an appearance in the story at all
He doesn't even have a hangout
he does wtf
it was the first hangout i ever did
HE DOES
Don't ever disrespect my boy like that again (joking)
Rethinking this, the irminsul can hold the "memories" of whole teyvat but also people/events can be completely DELETED without anyone knowing
I don't think we know the source of irminsul powers (we might and i just don't remember) but when in the trailer dottore BURNT IT is that the game/loop restarting? Or is it just a way to "burn old world"? Or am i overthinking something that will never happen?
The thing we know for sure venti knows things we don't, maybe related to istaroth since she's god of wind and ^time^ afterall
If it turns out that the end of the game is just restarting the loop I'd be mad
same π i really hope to end it or something and witness the 'true' teyvat
also i was watching fischl's hi3 trailer
fischl what the fuck π
fischl has a hi3 trailer?? i had no idea
also i found this locked withering zone (if you get close enough you will take enough damage to kill a 13k hp char in about 30 seconds) and i was wondering if anyone knows whatβs happening with it
it looks super cool but you can barely get close or else paimon forces you to go awat
away
itβs this blue patch on the map
ah you unlock that with the aranyaka questline, it's known as old vanarana
there has a hi3 x genshin collab 2 years ago and fischl is now a hi3 character too ^^
note once you unlock it you'll be able to enter freely without dying
ohh thank you
Albedo is the best mond character imo
I really wish we could see the 'other side' of albedo someday
heβs so cool, i want more in game lore about him
SUSBEDO WEEKLY BOSS WHEN
Real we need Albedo boss
personally a venti fan, although kinda waiting for his character death π
no way hoyoverse's gotten this far in genshin without killing anyone
they're gonna nuke half the cast in khaenriah im calling it now
both venti and albedo have death flags
OMG YES
LET ALBEDO HAVE A TRANSFORMATION SIMILAR TO RAIDEN AND MAKE HIM BE A BOSS
listen shadows in snowstorms pt2 with susbedo and cinnabar rerun
Or Albedo story quest act 2
Rhinedottir: Starts cataclysm
Khaenriβah: confused on why it got destroyed
Rhinedottir: leaves without a trace
lmao literally, like is she dead or still living, is she involved in abyss or fatui, whatβs happening (again i donβt know albedo lore so if anyone can answer these questions please do)
I think shes alive (hexenzirkel)
oh thank you
she went missing after discovering an artifact called 'the heart of naberius' and right before she disappeared she left albedo with his final mission which was to 'discover the truth of this world'
so her status is currently unknown
OHH that's why he wants to discover the truth of this world
i found it so weird that he was just studying that, barely anyone know that a truth of this world even exists
i'm currently going down a huge rabbit hole of things concerning cataclysm, rhinedottir, durin, and all of that stuff lmao i'm trying to learn as much as possible about albedo's lore n stuff
she constantly uses weird shit in her inventions that are made from 'a material not from this world'
like sis
what are you using π
wait im gonna check the rifthound description
she might actually have the same type of situation as our twin, marked as a descender by irminsul but not actually from our world
our twin isn't marked as a descender i think
oh really?
didn't nahida say that our twin was classified as "from this world" by irminsul?
yeah she did
but a descender according to the fatui is someone not from this world
Oh I hated the meka storyline. Like, I don't care about ur business or ur relationship with ur brother
it was a genuinely bad event, most of the games were pretty good but story was just boring
I skipped the whole thing tbh and i don't regret it at all
that is very valid
albedo quest was so interesting omg
and now that iβm reading his lore itβs even more so
he ||wasnβt just trying to see if the traveler could stop him if he lost control, he wanted to know if the traveler is like him and has the same type of power that he does|| (albedo quest spoilers) thatβs just my theory by the way
i agree, we know rhinedottir experimented with stuff 'not of this world' and we're...well
(rifthound desc)
in my theory, i believe rhinedottir have some control over him since well she made him
but with 2.3 event in mind i can imagine the other "subjects" have the ability to maybe manipulate albedo or at least change his mind
fanarts effects my view into possible lore/theories so much it's not even funny
if iβm correct, 2.3 was the shadows event right? i donβt remember the full name
i saw minsleif's og video and i believe this wholeheartedly π
we know that the oratrice HAS a consciousness, just not why
it's either the triplet theory for me or furina trapped the consciousness of the previous hydro archon into the oratrice, which is why the oceanids hate her
most likely the triplet theory though π
yep, the event was called shadows amidst snowstorms ^^
OH I WAS READING ABOUT THIS
the hydro archon theory makes sense, itβs also possible that furina put part of her conciousness into the oratrice which is why we see two different sides of her - her emotions and the oratriceβs βemotionsβ or verdict
however the two sides of furina could also just be her real emotions and the show that she feels she has to put on for her citizens
ooh yeah i can see that
furina is very centred around the dual personality theme which i love
one of my theories about furina was that she inherited the gnosis/her archon status. although furina knows how to captivate (or should i say control) her citizens, she doesnβt seem to have any raw power and is generally very insecure and unsure of herself. she doesnβt seem to trust every decision she makes, yet she rushes into things without thinking too much (ex. in the trial against lyney and/or childe, she acts confident but we see her second side of being scared when the traveler gives good evidence). she seems more like a performer meant to fill a role, rather than a powerful archon
i donβt know how she would βinheritβ the role of archon though
along those lines, maybe its a raiden situation? like she was created by the previous hydro archon as a replacement bcs she knew she was gonna die or something
oh yeah, thatβs a good point. she also has the oratrice, which couldβve been a sort of protection measure to prevent wrongful convictions made by furina
i'm really curious into the previous hydro archon, as i believe we caught a glimpse of her in the trailer
we did?
also the fact she's a pond in the sumeru desert now π
its not confirmed, but i believe we did
ohhh thank you
i think she says the fountain oceanid lines but that is not an oceanid π
it reminds me of what happened with nahida and rukkhedevata
no it is not lmao
waittt theory forming
what if the oceanids dislike furina because they see her as an imposter? maybe they donβt see her as a good archon, or they just donβt like how she replaced the hydro archon
like how they literally locked nahida away because they were mad at her for taking rukkhedevataβs place
yeah, the oceanids are still loyal to the previous hydro archon
it's defo either that or furina committed a massive sin
actually hang on
?
in 3.8, idyia said they were being exiled from fontaine and had to take the route through the sumeru desert which is coincidentally where amrita pool is
so what if they got exiled together
ok so i have a theory about albedoβs story quest: ||what if the whole quest was related to the art of khemia? i think itβs possible that albedo was simultaneously trying to see if we are able to use art of khemia and trying to warn us/demonstrate it to us. he wants to know if we are the same as him, as well as if weβd be able to save him in the event that he loses control (hence the line βif one day, i lose controlβ¦ destroy mondstadtβ¦ destroy everythingβ¦ can i rely on you to stop me?β). also, when albedo picks up the dead twig and turns it into a living branch again, i highly doubt that was something you can do with regular alchemy. i think itβs likely he was testing us to see if we would recognize what he was doing. if iβm not mistaken, art of khemia is centered around creating synthetic life (albedo is a synthetic human and one of his masterβs greatest achievements) because khaenriah had very few plants or other organisms. so albedoβs reviving of the branch aligns with what the art of khemia is. if we had been scared or startled when he used the art, it likely would have revealed that we knew what he was doing, and albedo would have learned that we too know the art of khemia. however, we didnβt, and so he switched to testing our strength and any other powers to instead see if we could stop him.|| anyways thatβs my theory, i donβt know where iβm going with it lol. sorry if itβs super repetitive
i just realized its also super long lmao sorry
Nah dw i see what u mean though
ok good to know, felt like i was just rambling lol
Wait, what is the aet of khemia and where does it show up in the rest of the lore?
art of khemia is an alchemy technique developed in khaenriah. itβs based around creating new life (synthetic life) because khaenriah was underground and had very few plants and animals. mastering the art of khemia was considered the top thing an alchemist could acheive. it shows up in albedoβs lore because he was created by rhinedottir through art of khemia, and was taught the technique by her as well. heβs able to use the art of khemia as a result.
im back with more of my fav "theory": archons = demons
so guoba 'god/demon' name is marchosias
the first obvious thing they both spews fire from their mouth
also people summon marchosias (the demon) if they need a healthy power and motivation in their life
and guoba exhausted his strength when he placed it to the land in liyue "to keep it vitalized"
also fun fact: Marchosias name seems to come from Latin "oven" and guoba is the god of stove
that makes a ton of sense
ok so this is a very very basic theory that has probably already been said but paimon is a demon name. since every god in the game has a demonic name or a name associated with demons, this could definitely be another piece in the paimon is a god (unknown god?) theory
even the twins don't have demonic names, so that is a pretty big indicator that paimon is a god (and likely an imporant one because let's be real here, it's genshin. they wouldn't just make her a random god)
Actually the theory I started this post with is "what if paimon was a fallen archon" lol
Like she got punishment from heavenly principles or something
that actually makes way more sense
and it makes more sense than βwe fished paimon out of a pondβ
The thing that makes paimon really sus aside from everything eles, no one knows WHO or WHAT is paimon??
yeah that's what i think too, i feel like she witnessed something she shouldn't have and was banished and stripped of her powers + memories, and she was an archon/god in the previous samsara
which brings us back to the βpaimom was unknown god in previous samsaraβ theory
Hello?? You forgot witch woman??
Lisa will die
And ofcourse we have the already dead
Uh I forgot her name
Ria was talking about how hoyoverse have gone this far without killing any of the playable characters bc half of them have death flags e.g. Lisa
While yes I do theorise that Lisa might die because she has a ton of death flags (and so does Childe) we donβt know whether the devs will actually kill off playable characters
That one harbinger died
I really hope childe dies
I hate his ass so much
I would have mixed feelings if he did
While yes itβs good for the plot but his family
We are really the only ones who can purify durins blood so if he does get corrupted
Could be a possibility
We donβt even know where his impostor is
Nah he just dipped after 2.3
Came in 2.3
Said something
Refused to elaborate
Left
Also 1.2 event
βWas the two of us meeting really a good thing?β
she's still alive??
last time i checked she was canonically alive lol
signora was never playable π
there are those with death flags but still alive, which is why i'm saying i'm surprised no one's dead
another thing is that i downloaded hi3 a week ago and himeko is already dead ππ
they killed her FAST, and tingyun died 2 patches into honkai star rail, and yet we are well into version 4.0 of genshin's fontaine and every playable character is still breathing
i'm also convinced venti and the tsaritsa have massive death flags, and even though venti is arguably my favourite character in the game i can't wait to see how they kill him off π
He will probably die in his 2nd story quest
I don't understand why yoimiya got a second story quest?
She is the only non archon that has two story quests
i just want to get his lore before they do because if they kill him off and never give us any more lore i will cry
like his full lore because he has so many mysteries
also this is random but lyney has to know about our twin right? we havenβt told him anything but heβs a member of the fatui and likely knows about our situation. also like no this type of thing just doesnβt happen, lyney donβt pretend you know nothing about flowers
right? although i think they'll nuke him in khaenriah or hopefully a possessed/evil barbatos arc where he goes all manipulative and batshit crazy π
ooh, i didn't notice that o.O not all fatui have access to what the harbingers know, but assuming the nature of his mission he might have been informed by arlecchino
it would make sense, and because he denied knowing anything about flowers a couple lines later
true true, fontaine is teased to basically be a fuck ton of lies though so we might not find out
actually continuing with this- each archon has performed the ultimate act of their virtue at the end of the archon quest eg. venti setting dvalin free, zhongli signing the final contract etc. this leads me to believe that the tsaritsa will commit the act of ultimate love, which might be self sacrifice.
on the topic of fontaine though, furina might commit the act of ultimate justice which is gonna be ππ
I actually believe that tsaritsa is doing the right thing but in the wrong way
that seems to be the point of the fatui, (besides dotorre so far) their goals and morals seem to be on the right track
i forget where i heard this (mightβve been a dain voiceline) but i think it was said that she loves her people so much that she doesnβt have any more love leftover, so committing self-sacrifice could definitely be her final act of love
First yes it was dain
Second I just imagined a scenario based on this
(on the last minutes before her sacrifice): "I'm dearly sorry for all of you, I thought I was doing the right thing, I thought that I'm able to shield by giving you all my love... Turns out I was wrong. And still the only thing I can give you is my love, goodbye"
I LOVE THATTT
thank u
It's come full circle lmao
saw a thing on twitter saying that furina does not have the hydro gnosis in her drip art (not sure if this is completely true) which would support the theory that the oratrice runs off of the gnosis and furina has no idea how to use it
she does not (the drip art is in the #updates channel if you wanna go check it out)
thanks!
continuing: so far furina has excersised no real power over her people except for the knowledge that if they do something wrong, the oratrice will sniff it out no matter what. it's really neuvillette and the oratrice the people are scared of, and furina is more a kind of "entertainment" but shouldn't she have wayyy more power as an archon? even without her gnosis raiden was still able to A. maintain the space her conciousness was in, B. create raiden shogun, and C. give the shogun orders + part of her conciousness, all without a gnosis. this brings me back to the theory that furina does not know how to be an archon and/or did not want to be the archon in the first place. the oceanids can tell she's not as powerful as the previous hydro archon and therefore don't like her. her whole situation as archon is really weird. and the fact that she's very unsure and insecure behind the facade she puts on (we see this when it shows her "second side" during the trial and when the oratrice declares childe guilty, she obviously has no idea what happened) implies she has literally no idea what she's doing other than knowing she has to put on a show for her people
that was probably very repetetive sorry about that
OH and the fact that the hydro vision is not behind her in her drip marketing likely means that she has no real control over her people
she might be a fraud
like she isn't the real hydro archon and miss girl knows it
le imposter
aint no way an ARCHON was begging for her life ππ
but as you said, she doesn't seem to know how to be an archon, implying she might be an impersonator
yeah, she's so so so scared of making a mistake or misstep
there's no way she was in the archon war and survived right?
yeah
she isn't the og, because the furina we know probably would've gotten nuked by ei or some shi
i highly doubt she's the real hydro archon
at least we know some variation of her is real
oh wait that's so weird though because focalor the demon was a powerful thing, google says it was a "great duke of hell" and commanded twenty or thirty legions of spirits
yeeaah, furina is a fraud π she's hiding something BIG
no way she's commanding armies lmfao
okok thats fine
ok back
ok this is completely unrelated but i absolutely love how much thought was put into raiden ei and raiden shogun's background. is raiden written well? no. is her redemption arc terrible? basically. however, hoyo put obvious thought into ei and the shogun's situation. traditionally, a shogun is appointed by the emperor and has complete control over the military. this basically means that the shogun has all the power in the government, while the emperor is more of a figurehead. this is basically raiden's situation word for word lol. ei created the raiden shogun to control the shogunate/army and make any decisions regarding the region of inazuma while ei remained tucked away in her consciousness. so the raiden shogun was the shogun, with all the military power, and ei was the "emperor" and was just a figurehead
just goes to show how much they put into this game
also the fact i was doing an essay on ancient japan and while i was looking for websites i found this image
π
whoaaa
i also found that symbol on a poster in my art teacher's room, it had a bunch of different patterns on it and that was one of them lolol
not sure what the poster was but it had japanese on it so-
turns out the symbol is a magatama, a talisman of good fortune in shinto traditions. the one that's the electro symbol in genshin is called a triple right tomoe (if google can be trusted) but there's a ton of them
now that i think about it, that's likely what the poster was about
HOLD ON YALL
What if the abyss sibling isn't the real one
And it's just a creation by celestia
Or the abyss or Khanriea
To like
Lead us on an endlessly chase
So we would be stuck forever
ooh i like that
very minor spoilers for the new archon quest
its almost like shes reassuring herself of her role
YESS thatβs exactly what i was thinking when i heard this line
she had the sound of someone trying to convice themselves of something
RIGHT
spoilers ||arle says furina doesn't have the hydro gnosis π||
im currently doing it now and very intrigued
its so interesting already
it sounds like sheβs trying to remind herself of her power, not to mention she said she needed neuvillette at the meeting
they donβt give us a reason for that but it has to be because she would completely butcher the meeting on her own right? like we saw how she was in the meeting
i still didn't finish the archon quest but it seems like furina have no actual power over 'her people' or 'archon powers' or she just unable to use it, to clarify my point: nahida didn't have a power ***over ***her people but used her archon powers/the power of knowledge in her advantage and for "the greater good"
yess i completely agree
Spoilers for archon quest; ||Neuvillette is indeed the hydro dragon (it was so obvious). I find it funny how ppl thought it was Kokomi||
tbf they thought it was kokomi before neuvillette was out, but if people still believed it AFTER fontaine was out and after the archon quest, that's where the theory is lost
i agree ^^
i never believed the kokomi dragon theory but it was interesting
it was definitely very interesting and believable to an extent, i think the thing that made me believe it was probably her constellation but overall the theory had a lot of holes
it would've made sense if kokomi had a bigger presence in the archon quest + a different focus in her story quest, along with the fact if she was fontainian because
what is the HYDRO dragon doing in the land of ELECTRO
π
otherwise very believable
lore enthusiasts we won with this archon quest
spoilers
||PROPHECY?? πππ||
ive been summoned here as a lore nerd
idk how people didnt figure it out / || thought he was the archon || like they made it so painfully obvious
i dont like how some kokostans are still insisting how she is the hydro sovereign
like π
actually a bit random but does anyone know where the hydro gnosis is
it was never said but my guess is that it's in the oratrice
and that it's the source of its power
also the nice little touch of furinas drip marketing not having a vision / gnosis in the back... they are brewing up this lore
it feels too obvious but so did || nuevillette || so im not surprised at this point
she's listed as 'regina of the waters'
ooohhh
see her lore isnt obvious at all which i like she is still a total mystery. same with whatever the fuck is happening w childe
LMFAO
right oml
i an very interested in the abyss
but act 3 felt entirely like filler. i was really disappointed LOL
yeah π it was so tedious
but at least they kept me on my toes at the end of act 4 ig
but im tired of making friends w npcs we'll never see again like dunyazard n stuff like that is ok bc its One Main npc but why did we make like 13 friends
can we cut down on the npc lore
please
im waiting for lore vids to come out to see what i missed bc im sick n may have missed some details
yeah that whole section with || the boat thing he was making || really confused me
i'll read the dialogue again and analyse a second time to see if i can get some theories
for now WHY IS ARLECCHINO SO NICE?? π
wolf in sheeps clothing
lets see if i can dig up anything about her in the comedia del arte
tbh i have a feeling shes a childe situation where hes not inherently evil she just is completely loyal to the tsaritsa
childe and scara both hate her
doesnt childe like her???
actually hm
all i've heard is wolf in sheep's clothing
she's faking something
clown arlecchino is canon yall
you're probably right in the sense she is very loyal
i mean she runs an orphanage and seems to take good care of them from what we saw with lyney and lynette so that would make sense
i see her as a person who is on a mission and will do what it takes to get it done
oh shit i just realized what if lyney and lynette were sent by arlecchino not to figure out how the oratrice works but to investigate/steal the gnosis inside it? this would open the possibility that the fatui (or at least arlecchino) know that the gnosis is inside the oratrice and is maybe even using that against furina??
