Most people already know I am an avid Raiden Shogun/Ei hater, but theres one character I hate more than her and its Rosaria. I should mention that I dont care about the technicalities of her oh so tragic backstory, Im looking at her at face value as the character she presents herself as.
Her one and only purpose is to be an oversexualized nun. Thats it. I dont care if shes "not technically a nun" or shes "rebelling against the church", her existence in itself is problematic and makes me uncomfortable to the highest degree as someone who's Roman Catholic. Sexualizing a group of women whos entire life purpose is to AVOID just that makes me want to vomit. The argument that "well shes not a real nun" is fucking STUPID. She presents herself as a nun and pretends to be one for whatever fucking reason and it does NOT justify how sexualized her original outfit is. Literally, if they just made her anything BUT a nun, she'd be so much better as a character.
Shes a garbage character and her attitude just makes me roll my eyes. They tried to make her "edgy and mysterious" but all it does for me is make me groan and click through her text faster.
Her literal only redeeming quality is her new outfit looks only kind of cool.
