  • there are certain characters who, when you interrupt their normal attack sequence by switching to any other character, will look mad at you when you switch back to them (yae miko is the most famous iteration of this)
  • nahida plays a song when she jumps, falls, and does her normal attacks
  • there are watermarks on certain objects in genshin, like a building in springvale that says “mihoyo” when the light hits it just right or a slime looking figure on a mountain by qingce village
  • boss childe has a retaliation strike if you hit him with hydro in his phase 1 or electro in his phase 2 that does a shit ton of damage
  • fischl’s alternate skin has actual wings instead of a tattoo like in her normal one
  • raiden and scaramouche don’t breathe on dragonspine
  • flora used to be an adult
  • certain weapon change designs when they hit certain levels (sacrificial does this)
  • ella musk is an adult (i think)
  • venti and zhongli have no clue that the raiden shogun and makoto aren’t the same person & that the actual baal is dead (at least they don’t seem to)
  • a part of the chasm is (possibly) owned by sumeru based on national borders
  • there’s an npc in liyue actively cheating on 2 women
  • it can’t rain inside cities (excluding cutscenes)
  • dendro slimes won’t attack you if you’re actively looking at them
  • there are no rooms in wangshu inn (???)
  • shorter characters run slower than taller ones, making them seem like they consume more stamina
  • ganyu’s arrows bounce off statues of the seven if you shoot them
  • visions sparkle and shine when a character’s burst is charged (which is interesting, considering venti’s is fake and it still shines, meaning he had incredible attention to detail when he was making the fake hehe)
  • the red details of mona’s outfit do the same as above
  • when a character’s burst is charged, they’ll also have a unique sound effect when you switch to them (kinda sounds like a low flute note)
  • when you’re going through your character inventory, there’s a background sound that plays for every depending on their element (a bubbling sound for hydro, rushing wind for anemo, etc)

if u play on playstation, while ur in the menu (the one that shows paimon to the right) u can blow into ur controllers mic and a gust of wind blows paimon backwards

she has special voicelines for this - one of them being 'MY TIARA' so thats also confirmation that the thing on her head is a tiara

also when a characters burst is charged ull see the element symbol pop out from their vision for a split second after u switch to them

u can do this to show where hidden visions are, like dilucs new outfit - his vision is over his heart!

  • some characters hold usable weapons in their wishing splash art (ex. amber holds the hunters bow, xiangling with the white tassel, etc)
  • npcs will cringe back at every sword user’s attacks but alhaithams
  • some characters have little bell sounds while walking if they have bells on their outfit
  • the 4 winds of mondstadt are depicted on buildings facing their respective directions (excluding the falcon, vanessa, who’s at the knights headquarters)
  • the statues of the 7 say “world forget me” prior to playing the sumeru archon quest and it goes away after completion considering rukkhadevata no longer exists
  • xiao is actually not the smallest male character… he’s second to cyno, who appears taller because of his hat
  • some characters have hollow pupils while others’ are filled in
  • hu tao’s ghost never had a name
  • sucrose’s official title is “harmless sweetie”
  • amber’s baron bunny can be frozen while other little animal attack things like guoba can’t
  • mona’s idle animation will bring up actual character constellations
  • lumine and aether scale differently… between the 2 of them, lumine is the dps and aether is the defender
  • aether is also ambidextrous while lumine only uses her right hand
  • venti can swirl rain with his charged attack
  • you can look under glory (the blind girl from mondstadt)’s blindfold and see her eyes, which are green

oh and also judging by kaeya’s eyepatch position his eyes are freakishly close together when compared with others

  • nahida is the only character who’ll wave to you when she’s in your teapot… other ones cross their arms, smile, stare at you, etc (looking at you venti)

also may i add ayato has a picture of the grand narukami shrine tree for like a split second in his burst

and kaeya and bennett have the same normal attacks except for the last step
