so the vast majority of datapacks pretty much automatically appear like they’re mods which sucks imo, especially since you can’t filter them out

if i dont update stuff though, i think ive mentioned how people can update it themselves, but if not ill mention again;
download the data pack version of it, unzip it, and go to data\infinf\tags\item\all.json and add all of the new item ids to that file. this should automatically make that item work with the pack, except for a few rare exceptions.

you can follow those same steps for the fabric jar, just make sure to rename it back to .jar after zipping it back up
cuz fundamentally it is still a datapack and contains no java code

It's quite literally unzipping a file and typing the new items' id's to a file inside the zip
The former is basic computer usage
The latter, you might have to search around but should still be pretty easy
