to replicate: run game, teleport somewhere and do /klll quickly after, then teleport there again
or just fly, leave the game and rejoin
oh no
is this just a minecraft bug? or is it mc not loading custom worldgen in time for already started chunks that continue generating
putting the features in top layer modification makes them not stop generating for some reason but that ofcourse doesn't fix anything
it's extremely wierd
cuz it's "less" of a problem
has no one else expierenced this?

They're is possibly an issue in your custom features if something isn't loading correctly like your phallic trees. As for removing features, there is a biome modification class. Check out the fabric docs on how to use that.
the features only have issues when you reload the world/ switch between spectator and creative with spectatorgeneratechunks false
this image had trees disabled that's why they don't generate
but as you can see the moss stops generating in stripes
the phallic trees are working as intended
