I am using VSCode, idk if it is part of the problem, but no online threads I found worked. I didn't have this problem when making a forge mod thing.

This is repost because I posted it in a different channel even though someone was already being helped in it

I don't think it's a VSCode bug actually anymore, try modifying the build path. I don't know how to do that in vscode, but there are tutorials on YouTube for eclipse

hmmm, this is a bit odd.
as I have confirmed that 1.20.4 did not have this error, so perhaps the classpath resolution has changed since 1.20.5/1.20.6 in terms of loom-related and so on?
