Kaupenjoe has a tutorial for 1.19.3 (you will need geckolib) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0pCF6ayjAI&list=PLKGarocXCE1EMYzuBUTYjHnFeBrRFbesk&index=14
In this Minecraft Modding Tutorial, we are adding a custom Armor Model with Geckolib 4 to Minecraft 1.19.4 with Fabric and Geckolib 4.

for convenience, use Geckolib
ok thx
this mod takes the model of the item when in the hand and scales it up and moves it to the top of the wearer's head
ok
idk if u know alot about geckolib or not but my model is rendering weird https://github.com/CysticTurtle85/Mining-Helmet
Custom Helmet Model not working
I'm afraid I do not. However, if your item model in the inventory is the same as on the player, you can do what the other mining helmet and have a custom armor renderer
thats too confususing for me this is my second mod and i dont know much about how minecraft modding works
are you porting the other mod to a newer version?
yh kinda but im fully reacreating it
im just making a new mod just like that one but for this version
if the helmet does rotate with the player, is there a place you could add 45* to the rotation?
