give it a set of schematic files and you can start animating

As far as the ones I tested. FramedBlocks (forge) was the first and my other mod DecoBeacons(not out yet)

But it should work

It can render entities (mobs, armor stands, paintings)

It can render animated blocks (by BlockEntityRenderer) like the enchanting table

#

I had to disable vanilla Beacons tho, since it would be cheating to let players have a mobile playerbuff AOE

But yeah it should support modded blocks
