I think it's a way to see who is using the mod and who isn't. But it would need the mod to be also serverside and only people using the mod would be able to see the icon

oh do you mean you want to auto see the discord or wtv tag of the other player
i thought you meant like a "using modpack" tag

But then you could see if someone else is not using that mod in the client. But it does not guarantee the person isn't using the modpack tho
