At the starting I also don’t want to force everyone to rejoin, But with minecraft logic it couldn’t change the properties until you rejoin world. Feels bad tho.

uh, cant you just set the blockentity data on the client side as well? or is this a server-side only mod?
alternatively, isnt it possible to resend that particular block like a block update?
or the last option, the server could just quickly break then place the new block
