oh neat
and has a dim light
basically is a port of curios lantern to fabric
well if anyone is interested in using it
Full Changelog: https://github.com/AkashiiKun/TrinketLanterns/commits/v1.0.0+1.20-fabric
Currently needs an unofficial port of Radiant Gear and Lamb Dynamic Lights pull request.
will look forward this
@tired thorn will your build support the official 1.20.1 builds of radiant gear and lamb dinamic lights that were released?
Yes
great
Should i upload it to modrinth/curseforge?
If you could please
i dont see why not, and congrats btw
congrats about what?
hella late message, and i meant the 1.20 version
looking forward to 20.1
1.20 should work on 1.20.1
yup, it works flawlessly
@tired thorn did you post that on modrinth?
i was to suggest ~3/4 to my modpack for Librarian to use and realized your fork of this mod wasnt on modrinth
i haven't
and probably won't upload to modrinth
you can include it in your modpack as an override
i was more worried because an layman player could find a mod posted on github a little suspicious
i already use your fork myself without issues
but you know
some folks are afraid of technical things
excuse me but doesn't make sense
It doesnt make sense to you because we are already used to github. But those who don't use the site much may find it suspicious.
it's more concerning a mod not being open source on github than a mod not published in a website but that it's on github
i already got turned down before by a friend because i shared my modpack through a private github repo, and he wasnt feel safe with GH because he never used it before

sometimes a nice UI does all the difference for tech-savy people
but, well, thatsit
just a question mine
i'll think about it but i'm not sure if it's gonna be approved
you changed the mod name relative to the original one, right?
i think i saw other similar forks on MR before
yeah
@tired thorn hey nice work, I was looking exactly for this
I've been trying it for some time but it kills my fps it's unplayable
since the mod uses lambdynamiclighting's dynamic lighting to work it destroys my pc, and using anything other than the fancy setting looks horrendous
is there any other dynamic lighting mod that is compatible with this mod, maybe a little more performance-friendly?
if I put the lantern in my off-hand my fps are perfect, perhaps because it uses my shader's dynamic lighting?
No, it's only compatible with ldl
Yeah
