A personal submod I made that restores House Brightflame as a Targaryen Cadet House when using AGOT+ for those who want it.

I saw your mention of it, and I see people ask about it a lot so I figured I could help out those few that want to keep them in

Let me double check here quick if it will work in a save

It looks like it restores the name of the living members to Brightflame but they aren't attached to the Targaryen tree anymore but are still a dragonriding house 😕 I didn't figure it would be able to fully work on an ongoing save but it didn't hurt to double check

if you want to truly bring back brightflame as a targ house then here is the folder i use

put it in the main mod folder and it should be fine

i mainly play in 284 bookmark so the brightflame will still be around as i just undid the changing of house to galgaeryn in th agot+ setup file. it does require a new game to take effect

and it will need to be updated everytime agot+ updates as its a file touched alot

it just replace 1 chunk in the agot+ code and boom "Update"

Update - house bright flame is back from their long vacation

when i use the mod the targaryen coat of arms becomes just a purple shield

I believe you have a different submod conflict as this doesn't happen when using only AGOT -> Submod Core -> AGOT+ -> Restore House Brightflame

where is house brigthflame though? i cant find them

They only exist in certain bookmarks around Aegon V

I think i found out wich mod it was, it was a mod that changes apearances of the characters

House brightflame doesn't show up in the house tab of the targaryens, and i cannot find them as landed or unlanded in the other aegon V bookmarks either

they also dont exist during the pike uprising bookmark

This is all just the AGOT/AGOT+ history files, this mod doesn't change when they are alive

It only makes them exist in AGOT+ because that mod makes them a generic family instead of part of the Targaryen Dynasty

i have agot, agot+ and agot music ++ activated alongside the mod

I think you also need submod core for all of AGOT+ clothing to work

There are some of them alive in bookmarks ranging from Peake Uprising all the way to Crowned Stag

I got high and i wanna try modding . I never did it but i feel confident, is there any chance i can make siege events? Not going to touch dragons or anything like that basic decision during siege?

I just loaded in using only the basic mods and they were in the list of Targaryen houses still. Perhaps try to unsub and resub to AGOT+ and this mod?
