This mod is for the main AGOT bookmarks, so the dragons are all dead, you need to get eggs naturally in game and attempt to hatch them with the major decision that is a Valyrian hatching ritual

Potential for you to absolutely yeet sieges with old dragons, burning walls will now scale with age

New calculations for the dragon system so you will have better dances

I will likely be implementing the use of dragon blood ascendancy, so if you use that mod and make your dynasty Valyrian, your entire dynasty will then be able to get dragons

Not necessary however, but I will recommend in the description as it's a neat mod

Will also try and make a pdf guide to explain the mod better

but you need to manually adjust the combat score and wait for modifiers to catch up (may take a number of years depending how far you have leaped in age)

whatever amount of years you are adding to the dragons age, add that exact same amount to the dragon combat score

on top of what it might already be, 0 etc.

First you need to age your dragon step by step if he is still less than 5 years the first you need to add 25 years and then wait 1 year then he becomes a young dragon and then add 25 years to become an adult dragon and wait 1 year and then add 50 years to become a mature dragon with more than 100+ year no one can kill you or your dragon

if u have debug mode on you can enable bypass_requirements to craddle egg with anyone no matter their age, if you have yesmen on you can give them dragons if they dont want take it for some reason

I dug into the mod files and made a guide on how to change the age of a dragon with all the modifiers, etc. As a result, everything changes except the description of the artifact, but this is of little importance.

• 1). Go to the debug console and click on the "Explore Objects" button;

• 2). In the menu that appears, in the "Provider" section, select the "Artifacts" section. Then, in the "Search Key" field, enter the name of your dragon (you can see it in the artifact name). Press enter, then select your dragon from the list below;

• 3). After opening the new menu, go to the "Script Variables" section select the parameter "dragon_age" and enter the age of the dragon (for example 26.00);

• 4). Next above, select the section "Script Runner" - "Effect" and enter the following commands to make your dragon young, After entering, press the "Run" button:

remove_artifact_modifier = hatchling_dragon_modifier
remove_artifact_modifier = adolescent_dragon_modifier
add_artifact_modifier = young_dragon_modifier

Also i'm.... REALLY confused as to why I have to wait 25 years to be able to mount and ride my dragon, when that's not canon. Daenerys mounted Drogon when he was 2-3 years old. Morning, who was hatched after the Dance of the Dragons, by age 5 was grown enough to allow Rhaena to ride her. Arrax and Lucerys were both 13 when they went on their first ride, so that's on the HIGH end of the spectrum, which I chalk up to Arrax being kept in the Dragonmont once he grew too big to be kept in the keep at Dragonstone (it's very well known that keeping dragons locked up inside stunts their growth)

Vermithor, conversely, at age 14, was already considered to be a "large" dragon, and he was hatched the same day at Jaeharys I

as in, by the time Vermithor was 14, he was 1/5 the size of Balerion

so, me, personally, i'm editing the scripts on my personal version of the mod so that the aging requirements for "adolesecent" only take 8 years, because that seems like a good happy medium

This doesn't hold water. Drogon in season 4 was 3 years old and already capable of taking on large groups of people. Drogon in season 8 was 7 years old, and his flames had such force behind them that he was able to collapse SEVERAL of the Red Keep's towers, and blast hundreds of houses, tenements and other structures made of stone to pieces. Yes, Balerion at his prime age, OBVIOUSLY is going to be more devastating than Drogon in his adolesence, which for dragons is MUCH YOUNGER than it is for humans, and it lasts way shorter of a time. One might call it adultescene.

Mind you that Drogon was, from what I can judge off of a lot of cross referencing, roughly the same size as Meleys, who herself was much older.

Then again, Meleys was a "castle" dragon. She spent much of her time in either the Dragonmont or Dragonpit, or perhaps a similar lair in High Tide

Drogon, on the other hand, was only one step away from being a completely wild dragon before Daenerys died

Unlike Viserion and Rhaegal, Drogon was never locked away in the Dragonvault beneath the Great Pyramid of Mereen

which, yes, that was yet another purpose-built layer for dragons

If you want to go with a happy medium, drop the age of being "rideable" to 7 years

Your dragon has to be old enough to melt the walls of a castle, it is set as 25+ or the Young Dragon agegroup

that mod conflicted with some other mod, because sometimes it kicked me out of the game when I was on the loading screen. other times it made me freeze the game for a few seconds

so I launched the game adding the mods every time I entered the game, to understand which mod was causing me to have those problems in game

There will be a decision that pops up if you’re commanding the army and your dragon is old enough. It takes around a year for your dragons age to update after you change it.

you can set your dragon's durability to whatever age you want, like that dragon can live up to 2000 years

All of the VS weapons have this script variable:
historical_unique_artifact
You can add it to the dragon in explore objects but basically it stops the ai from destroying or trading historical artifacts.
I answered my own question though after messing around with it for awhile. I just wanted an extra defense against the ai trying to get rid of their dragons.

I have minimal modding knowledge or I would just copy the code from one of the historical artifacts and paste it in your mod. Chances are I would mess everything up. Lol
