If i set all event to be historical will it guarantee canon character to spawn 200 years after I start the game? I need sometime to build up my power before i get to main game of throne time

No, i dont think so. I might be wrong but if you start in the Jaeherys start, then none of the events that led to Ned Stark being born would happen including the kids

Just stopping by to say this does stil mostly work on the current version. Canon children will be born as long as it is low in the load order. @obtuse anvil however would love an update to current version 🙂

How would one handle Larra Rogare? There is not much about her family other than her father.
Not to speak about the other uncertain spouses and their families.

interested to see how that looks. in More Bookmarks i've modified the stories so it can be much more loose so people can start at anytime and not worry about canon matches and RNG ending the chance of canon characters. Doesn't work perfectly though of course. I've been working on revamping it from the ground up again starting from Aenar the Exile and then adding in light story content that can potentially happen tied in with the characters

the birth years will probably remain strict since that's what the implementation is built around. but it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to make it so that it requires a spouse from the canon mother's house instead

Lol when I played as Daeron using your mod, I married Daena. So Aegon has Daemon with… his own daughter 🤢 But since I can kinda see Aegon doing that I gave them both the incestuous trait and made daemon a little crap, since I’d already made my first son be Daemon.

I think it's actually suggested in the books he did sleep with his daughter but yeah my future plans will be a little less chaotic than that 😳

lol its okay it gave me a reason to give actual Daemon horrible traits, and my Daeron/Daena Daemon got his proper traits. Worked out for the RP 😭

sorry for making you wait for so long! over the past months I haven't been able to work on the mod due to more important things in my personal life. the update I had been working on for adding thousands of new canon children reached a plateau due to it reaching CK3's technical limitations, but the CK3 dev team recently made a fix for this. I expect things to clear up in my personal life soon and get more time to work on it and finally give that update everyone has been waiting for! can't give any estimates though

I also visited the game of thrones studio in ireland last month so that made me want to pick it up again too

@obtuse anvil Hey, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I felt like it'd make sense to reach out to you about this, is Viserys Targaryen (III) only meant to get 3 canon traits? I noticed some characters have a variable for 2 and some have a variable for 4, Vizzy had a 4 variable though and he still didn't get more than 3 traits. Asking here because I don't want to crowd up bug reports for things that aren't really bugs.

it’s been ages so i don’t remember, but they way i remember implementing it is that canon children may get certain predefined traits, and will otherwise get random traits until the cap is reached
