I only ever saw the books and movies as their own, I do this often, I do not care for the author, what they say, how they feel, Joss Wheedon I think his name was who directed lots of the Buffy the Vampire slayer, I heard he is a shitty individual, but I have no way of knowing this, I just watch Buffy as it's own thing, and when I listened to the few episodes that had director commentary, he sounded really into the stuff and was makign sure that those episodes had impact were making sure the viewer gets the best experience, I could not hear from that how bad he was to work with or whatever.

So like, to me I barely engage with who is the author what life did they life, what shitty things they say.
To me most works are speaking for themselves, because otherwise it would like make reading or watching anything super infuriating "oh am I allowed to laugh at this, did the director say something problematic that could make me also appear that way" fuck off that's just super like, what are you doing with your life, have fun, enjoy the things you enjoy, do not care about how shit authors can be they are human too and can make mistakes, but if the work gives you enjoy and makes YOU a better person, then all the better, because it is YOUR actions not the actions of other people that something something good life lesson.

Actually it'd be pretty dangerous. Immediate concern is that everyone's sleep schedules get mangled. Then as people realize they're in for the long haul they start hunkering down to wait it out instead of partaking in things like economy. Then the cold starts setting in.
