But Maty Pisc implied the total spending puts it in the top three as well as Crimson Desert, despite CD having way less physical sales.
The people who buy the data (IGN, Bloomberg, etc) probably have more detailed information on those estimates of unreported digital sales in addition to the hard numbers.

not sure if we talked about the mixed ratio here, but yeah it came from some weird no-researched place to call steam reviews untrustworthy, like you can read the reviews yourself, some give good insight, you can look at the exact hours played, if it's 2 hours or less you know they refunded and did not actually play the game, if someone has 5k hours, you know they probably have some bias in one way or another, but 5k had to happen because of something good being in the game.
I personally use negative reviews, based on direction of balance in a live-service game, or to inform about game breaking bugs, like Burnout Paradise not loading and/or crashing if you have OBS installed, because some stupid system in the game wants to desperatly connect to your webcam for that stupid license thing.
But I don't review every game I play, I should, but I don't.

there's a scam scene on steam using those random game key bundles, you can buy on grey market scam sites.
On steam those games can cost hundreds of moneys in price, whilst inflating those game key pack stats, you think you get GTA 6 which costs 100$, but instead you get, Home Pilot 5 which is a shitty asset flip costing 150$ and is just barebones a prototype level set that barely works.
that's why I hate channels that buy those scam games at the full steam price, it just enables these types of scams.
