Preordering digital makes more sense for Indie games, since usually they're almost broke/close to bankrupt before their game's launch. As far as in this case, some people just like to "get the funds out of their account", so they know how much money they got left for other things they need to purchase.

If you're talking about the blade part, chill, yeah I guess, but there's always 3 of those. The clear gemstone is the hardest part considering that it can be in either Azeos' Wilderness of the Forgotten Ruins, and you're not always guaranteed to get more than one of those in a world.
