Just to give an idea...
"% savings" sounds like a good idea on your end "makes me work harder", but companies hate it because 1) it's a variable cost, and 2) "what if you're scamming us?".

If you're not making base pay, that likely means you were promoted and never given the increase, or something else. They likely aren't going to love having to pay full price for you, may counter with "ok, now hire/train your replacement". There's a chance they may just accept the to-base increase, but more could be difficult.

Nothing you've mentioned sounds like you're unique in the company/world in what you do, thus are "easily" replaceable, especially in an economy that favors employers now.
I'd hazard a guess that your company could find a few people to replace you for your current wage, if not less.

The way the Generative AIs work breach a lot of government contracts and are a danger to the defense/security of individual countries.

That is the only political I know of, but it is probably being used for many other political things.

Example of it being a security risk: Adobe released a new edition some years ago and said that all pdfs will be read, scanned, and used for their AI program. If Adobe is used in a facility with classified documents, then it is illegally reading and storing these documents. If Adobe is hacked, those documents are now out and about.
