because as far as i'd recall, they simply wouldn't do a complete revamp and/or rework of how things are the way they are in the game..

leaving it in the stasis of "weirdness and broken" for the end of time. even if the director or how they lead the game's story-wise has changed, they simply won't do a complete do-over to implement their appropriate lore-wise information

it's just too much to change because so many things in Pokémon are justs weird and wrong.. for example, the game doesn't seems depicting the information displayed in the literal lore of the game to the game's mechanic because otherwise it would actually ruins the whole game.

well, that would raise a question of how one this be even implemented to the game? if one character is a literal godlike then the others simply will lose to it. and that would means players would also fall when facing against it, resulting in a permanent softlock

It was all a ploy to make more money. The process of actually having Hoover give you the ticket was designed to be frustrating. Their initial promotion on having a flight to one of the EU's member countries was a success. However, when they did it with the USA, they were completely unprepared as to how many people were willing to struggle through to get the ticket. They were expecting around 1,000 to participate, but there was well over 100,000 instead. The result: hardly anyone actually got what they wanted and those customers drowned Hoover in a sea of lawsuits. It did not help customers were buying the cheapest models of vacuum, too.

I also have an Atlas AS7-D equipped with clan weaponry: an ultra AC/20, an Artemis LRM 20, and a pair of large pulse lasers. I also managed to fit a huge engine core 380 on it, giving it a top speed of 64 kph. It quickly proved itself to be a powerful clan buster. And the best part? it has so many double heat sinks it will never overheat!

On a sillier note, I have another Atlas AS7-D with a similar configuration to the first, except the ammo-dependent weapons are smaller calibers. I then attached a pair of arena fists and an MASC that can temporarily kick its top speed from 64 to 92 KPH! I used it in several of the arena challenges and I was proud of myself for creating an Atlas that ran down a Wolverine before clocking it with a punch from its fists. 😂

I have a superheavy Marauder II (125 tons) that would give the Daishi I have a run for its money:

Engine: 2 Core 260's (67 kph)

4 Clan ER large lasers
2 Rotary AC/5's
4 Clan LRM 15's
2 Clan LRM 10's

I have the missiles on chain fore, and clicking the group button every half a second sends a constant rain of fire down upon any enemy 'mech that is subject to its attacks. I can destroy an Atlas in 15 seconds with missiles alone.

The large lasers are powerful, but the problem I have with them is my aim is not steady enough to have them truly be devastating.

However, the RAC/5's are the real killers here. The Marauder has a quirk that significantly improves the fire rate of any weapon I shove on it. If I can get close range with a Charger, those suckers will rip it open in less than a second!

I can name a few:

Charger 1A1: Oversized engine, only small lasers as armament. A mad concept as a scout assault 'mech.

Ice Storm: Respectable as a spotter 'mech, but it was an oddball that did not fit in very well with the clanners that created it.

Cougar: May have a ton of firepower for a light 'mech, but is slow and oversized as well as poorly armored. Good luck trying to keep it alive on the battlefield.

Banshee BNC-3E: Although sporting better weapons than the charger, it is still woefully underequipped for an assault, often an armament not too dissimilar to some Panther variants (which happens to be a light 'mech).

Whitworth: Early models had a bad habit of losing their legs during extended combat missions.

Charger 1A1: It's incredibly effective as a light/medium killer and scout, especially later on in the Succession Wars era as most "better" Assaults get low production and many opponents discount it as "not an Assault" but then let it get close and Punch/Kick...

Ice Storm: TAG. Seriously, do not underestimate what a TAG can do. I've done complete kills of Hardened Armor Assaults in a single turn with a good TAG and Arrows. Rest of the weapons are just to keep the lighter Lights away.

Cougar: It's more firepower over mobility. Works great as a hunter/killer in the right hands, punching above its weight or taking out Lights that expect a lesser counter. Play it light a fragile Heavy instead of a Light.

Banshee 3E: Literally one of the earliest Assaults, and at the time, one of the fastest. Ymir came out same year, and was a mix of weapons.

Whitworth: Bad joints due to bad design, but not crippling the mech; the swap to LRMs instead of SRMs meant they could better dictate movement in combat and not worry about overtaxing the joints.
