N64/GC, you had 2 or so extra hops to make each lily pad. In 3DS you have to do a perfect straight line practically, because they messed up the distance/math in the coding.

Windows 11 search can probably find things on the web, and USUALLY finds things on my system if they exist
The start menu being a grid gives a lot more space for my programs
And the color palette is a bit better engineered, especially with dark mode

Tool resource regen is also bad. I used to dislike it, but instead of going to grind for more resources between attempts where I leveraged tools, I paid closer attention to the movesets and adjusted with what kit I had at the time.
Runbacks not only give you time to think and act as lowering of tensions between attempts, they also function as a way of starting each attempt with additional silk for skills/healing when you improve on the runback itself.

imo BW and B2W2 were the last really good pokemon games, maybe OR/AS, XY had lots of unused potential and lots of cut content that would've been cool to see, Gen7 is only okay if you take US/UM and after that there wasn't really any good game, SV had some good aspects like Character depth but even that game suffered a lot by heavy technical issues

Yeah I noticed that 3D is only enabled in Ultra Sun during those weird "picture" spots where you get to photograph exactly 1 random pokemon on a weird ledge
Which tbf the 3D feature is kinda silly and doesn't do much besides make the screen look weird
