and yes, I used to have a pet sheep, an aggressive sheep ram that hated it's own owner and stuff. but to me, was wonderful pet.

He was only for wool, plus he couldn't get sold to meat because he had an illness. that's why he was aggressive but he was fine with me. You cannot feed people or other animals with sick animals. that's my take.
But pets like mice? that depends, as long it isnt lab mice. cat? hell nah, or dogs. is a no no.

I do have lynx where I live, their main food isnt just minks, mice and so...it's rabbits.

But yea if you're going to do a used or refurbished, you have to take into account who refurbished it (company or person), if they offer their own warranty for their work, the amount of use it got before the refurbish.

Depending on what needed to be fixed, some of that work could impact Sony's own warranty, or even their willingness to help or repair if you contact them directly.

As in with PS4's for example, if the sticker on the internal screws were ever removed, it would completely void the ability to get repairs from Sony themselves, it would even make places like GameStop not willing for trade ins

The modern situation is a lot different from legends I was told of in the past, where the original English release of Nausicaa deviated from the Japanese version in a deeply troubling way (like depicting the Ohm as some great evil or something).

Robotech had to combine Macross with two other series to have enough episodes to syndicate in the US during the 80s. They also had to play it safe when it came to anything that could be perceived as challenging creationism.

Not sure how limited it really was.... We only have small samples of the true language, and they are all INCREDIBLY BIASED.

Most of what people think they know about ancient rome is wrong.

"white buildings of marble"? nope. Those would have been painted bright colors.

"Nero fiddled while rome burned"? Nope. The fiddle wasn't invented yet, for one. And for two, he personally was shocked at the news and housed people in his personal property and begged the senate for funding to deal with the damages.... Complete 180 from the actions one would expect from a guilty man. (he did blame the christians for it, though. no idea if he was right or wrong to blame them). Nero was actually a great emperor.

and many, MANY more misconceptions abound.

I am of the opinion that no human has ever figured out how to speak or white good until like, maybe 1900, and we're too stubborn to change language anymore

So basically all languages across all cultures are awful in their own unique ways, and maybe one day people will talk about our languages like "can you imagine talking like this" but none of us will live to see that day

When we wrote about something that happens after an event or just after x, we would say this happened after, Latin would say ex post facto, translating as from a thing done after, which is lacking in accuracy

Imo it got worse when they made Cursive worse, you can easily read some 18th century English Scripts with ease, until they got even more unreadable in the 20th Century

I mean.... it's not really worse than modern writing systems.
i, ii, iii, iiii, v, vi, vii, viii, etc etc etc, with progressively bigger letters.
In fact, it's easier to write large, round numbers in lating than in our modern method of numbers.... which would be IDEAL for accounting and bookkeeping with round numbers. Balancing your checkbook would be a breeze if you tip and round up to keep your numbers even.

And it remains consistent to this base 10 system

the consistency means computers can easily manage and process it as data where digits and characters matter
