There have been changes that have made things more casual friendly. The biggest being the elimination of timers to track in most jobs. Example, Black Mage. Had to keep track of a timer to keep your Astral Fire, basically a Kaioken, from running out prematurely. That timer no longer exists. As a black mage main and casual player, I like this. The 99% of other black mage mains rage like DND Berserker Barbarians when this change came out

Red mage still has this. They made it easier to avoid overcapping and wasting it by taking the ability that gave you 50 of each and making it give a buff that lets you use 50 mana worth of your melee attacks instead.

I love TP because its, quite frankly, a masterpiece imo. Amazing puzzles, stellar music, characters with actual growth as individuals, terrific combat, and a surprisingly deep story for a Zelda game from that timeframe which quite honestly still holds till this day. All this wrapped in a neat little package that you can play on any of three consoles of your choice (soon to be four if I know how Nintendo likes to milk their IPs) GCN/Wii/WiiU(/possibly Switch 2 ?)
