The biggest problem with EV, is that if I'm on a long road trip (in the U.S., which is huge), when that EV needs to stop, it takes 30 to 45 mins to charge, while I can fill a gas car in 3 minutes. I think it's because switch games have a programmed frame rate limit to prevent instability so they have to un limit it manually

Cause a lot of people seem to be expecting that any Switch 1 game will automatically get an update and I highly questioned that notion.

The Switch 2 is probably running Switch games at Switch performance since bad things can happen if you just arbitrarily give it extra cycles it wasn’t built with.

The R button doesn't make the click sound but it still functions

However the control stick is like
I think it was broken by being dropped or something, and likes to "drift" to the left

The mechanism that centers it physically when you release it is off center and slightly broken

So I think it reads the input fine, it just doesn't rest at 0 anymore

Super Mario 64 is probably the oldest game I would unconditionally* trust to not kill me with physics

It's.... arcade style tbh. In a coin operated arcade game, you obviously get 3 lives. And while SMB 1 does have 3 lives, it's for all 8 worlds, and there's few chances to get 100 coins, a 1 UP, or that very hard to do stair glitch that needs to be performed perfectly.

Not gonna lie though, SMB 1 honestly isn't really fun.... would much rather be playing SMB 3, Ninja Gaiden, or something.

SMB 1's prestige is carried by being a... technological marvel tbh. A game such as say Pac Man or Original Donkey Kong, those are One Screen games. The game does not scroll left to right like SMB 1. So, the NES actually isn't even powerful enough to scroll the screen. I believe SMB 1 had very fancy coding, and other games such as my beloved Ninja Gaiden, they simply used a "Mapper Chip" on the cartridge itself, MMC1, MMC2, and other chips.
