There is a screw on the back, takes a special screwdriver. You take that off, pop old battery out, put new one in, put back back on, boom, everything good.

Some game shops will do it for free, just have to pay for the battery.

Problem with OG Silver and OG Gold, is that a new save battery will die within a year or two, because that battery is not only holding the save file, it is also being used as a clock.

Meanwhile, save batteries on NES and SNES carts last for 15 to 20 years, since they're only holding the save file.

I love the mod Sink Into Madness....
Whether or not it is great is extremely hard to say....

The purpose of the mod is to drive you mad. You start and are to attempt to survive and build. You are on a 3x3 square with 1 tree. Your character can't swim, so the water around you is instant death.

I still would love to try it with a friend. Would probably have to get a surival area started and then the friend join lol.

There is a hotkey for the questbook, but I found after I lost the book, it sometimes wouldn't work and let me open it up.

I think there is a confliction with another mod. Some saves I didn't need the physical book, others I had tk have it to collect from.

I mean kinda, kinda not. We’ve had a lot of disagreements with raising the kids lately. Like I tell her I don’t want the kids out late at night on the weekends and she does it anyways, I tell her they’re to young to attend a funeral and she takes them anyways, and I believe it’s disrespectful. I already have to come home and clean because she just won’t do it. Like I don’t mind coming home and picking up after the kids but it’s beyond that. My youngest pissed on the carpet a couple weeks back and she just ignored it. She knew it was there and left it for me to clean. Like I shouldn’t be coming home from 12-16 hour shifts cleaning these kinds of messes and then cooking my own meals and taking care of the kids.

But, If I go with reading the above only, I do think you need to take custody of the kids amd leave, she should fix what is wrong with herself, then do a joint custody.

A home that is not picked up is one thing. A homw that has food left out that long can be dangerous if there are young kids and if you have one young enough that they occasionally use the floor, that is dangerous if not cleaned up too.

The problem with no EXP share, is that with children especially, it is very easy for their Starter to be say lvl 45, and all of their other pokemon are only lvl 20, thus their Starter is their only useful pokemon.

The thing is though, as a child, Mario 64 was just a playground. I had easily 200 Hours running around.

A cousin, who only had pokemon stadium 1 and 2, gave it to me before they moved out

You can get new plastic bowls for the stick, these days.

And then lube it with say silicone grease or whatever, so that it doesn't wear down the new bowl.

Blowing is actually bad for the cartridge too but nobody had the proper implements.

I never heard of licking the cartridge, but I used to lick the discs until someone pointed out it was gross

I was trying to clean a disc and they were like "yo that's gross" and I kinda stopped and stared at them for a minute, realizing

But yeah I saw a little booth demo about game cartridges where one was cleared properly and one was blowed on regularly. The cartridge that was blown on had green corroded contact and the exposed PCB all funky while the other cart was straight with gold contacts.

I use a microfiber and hand sanitizer now

not that I ever clean discs anymore
The few games we have that still use discs are in very good condition

but back when I was smol it was a constant battle

So this was why the symptoms got worse over time, the breath slowly destroyed the cartridges for the benefit of getting rid of that hair that kept it from reading the one time.

My catridges look fine even though we always blow on them

I noticed a few years ago that it says not to blow on it and I was like "huh."

I guess that's because my first response to the thing not working was to just take it out and put it back in and that probably knocked the hair or whatever contaminant off

I used to get a Q tip, put a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol on it, and would rub the cartridges out to clean them.

Told a friend how to do it and he threw a cartridge in a bowl of alcohol -.-"

The correct way is actually to break it in half and throw it away like the Nintendo garbage it is

OH, SPEAKING OF DISCS!

My dad would always engrave our names on our belongings so people couldn't steal them. So, a lot of my games aren't worth crap bc of this.
When games went to disc form, I BARELY stopped him b4 he engraved the back of the disc

The thing is super tempermental about its power cord it can't just be in the socket it has to be in at the right angle or the machine doesn't get power

I told my cousins a way to clean their discs was a certain type of material and even gave them some rags I made.

When I went over to their house they were using graphic tees bc the tshirts felt the same x.x

Woukd have been fine if they weren't using the graphic of the graphic tees >.<
